This cozy, Gulf front duplex sits right on the sand, offering direct beach access, a furnished deck, and a private balcony off the primary bedroom. This rental also features a spacious living area and a full, well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Enjoy direct beach access from your convenient location on West Beach Boulevard. Take the whole family to Waterville USA for water rides, go-karts, and other amusements, and don't miss the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, both just three miles away. Bring your poles and tackle and fish from the Gulf State Park Pier, only nine miles away. And for shopping, dining, live entertainment, and a full-service marina, check out The Wharf, only eight miles from your front door.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The location was perfect. It was very easy to get to the beach. The home itself needs some tlc. There was an electrical short in the master bedroom light switch. The carpet didn't feel clean. The fridge smelled terrible. The layout of the house worked good for us with several bathrooms. We also really liked the ice machine.

Spacious place with easy beach access

We enjoyed our stay at Sundance West. It was easy to get to and from the beach. Very spacious for our large family. I could see where if you had loud neighbors in the duplex adjoined it could be a problem but luckily our neighbors were very courteous. We would definitely use this place again. It was budget friendly and conveniently located.

Pleasantly surprised

This beach house was perfect for our big crowds needs! After booking I had some concerns about what to expect based on some reviews but the deck boards had been repaired and we found no other faults! Had a great trip and truly enjoyed our stay! Generally we stay ina condo but opted for privacy this time and wasn't disappointed!

Great location beautiful beach. Wonderful access to beach. Great size for large group. Upstairs king beds were very hard mattresses- downstairs king bed was acceptable but no ocean view. Several cooking pots had food residue.

Great location

Love the location! Deck needs some wood replaced to prevent splinters, but we all just wore our shoes to prevent. It was not as clean as we’d have like it, but nothing that would prevent use staying here again. Actually this is the 3rd time we’ve stayed in this house, on one side or the other of the duplex.

Love love LOVE the location. Cozy house. The ice maker is AMAZING! It’s the sonic type ice!!! Perfect for all our beach drinks. It’s more upgraded than pictures show. Great beach access and guest services were by far the best we’ve ever had. Fast responses and willing to be the most helpful! Very nice. We VRBO A LOT and this was the best guest services hands down! We will be coming back!

Great location needing a little help

Over all…great location! The older duplex is needing a little maintenance. I’m a come home with clean clothes & pack light kind of person. Very disappointed that the washer was not working on top of having WiFi trouble as soon as we got there.

Great home

For a quick getaway for just my husband and myself it was perfect. Super easy to walk right out on the beach. Very clean! We had 3 unused bedrooms. The patio furniture was not comfortable and we couldn’t ever connect to the wi-fi. The living room would have been small if you had enough people to fill the bedrooms.

Professional Updates Needed!

Excellent beach location but the house needs to be updated as most appliances are dysfunctional! The kitchen needs to be stocked better with the basics. Bathrooms need to be updated. If not, great house on the beach. We enjoyed our stay!!!

Great location, minor details to consider addressing

Location can’t be beat. Right on the beach. Away from crowded condos. House layout was great. Just minor details that would not take much time or effort to fix (eg: loose faucet fixtures in kitchen and bathroom, torn shower curtain liner, HVAC return vents caked in dust, bedroom ceiling fan mount loose and noisy). Overall we had a great experience!

Great place to watch the waves and sunsets

We enjoyed our stay. It’s right on the beach and close enough to all the popular eats. Plenty of room for everyone in our group. The outdoor lounge seating could use some comfort upgrades, as well as the living room furniture. Overall a good value for money. My grandson rammed his head into the corner of the granite countertop d required an ER visit for a gash in his forehead, so we will always remember our visit here. :(

The dishwasher was not working and it was leaking really bad. The couches had numerous tears in them. The ice maker didn’t work. Fridge and microwave were rusted.

Little get away

This place was wonderful! We really enjoyed ourselves! It’s a duplex which was awesome because the beach was not as crowded as some of the big condos have. We had great neighbors as well!! The layout gave each of us our own space! My husband and I had the room with a walk out porch to the beach… it was cool enough that at night we left the door open and heard the ocean waves as we slept! Pretty wonderful!! A few little things could be fixed (closer was broken to outside door, one of the metal chairs had a piece out of it, etc) but it did not effect the level of enjoyment during our trip what so ever! They had extra toilet paper set out for us, mini shampoos and conditioners, lots of appliances and we were thrilled to have a built in ice machine to keep our drinks cool the whole time!! Needs a lot! I would keep looking!

Not recommend until renovations are done especially the deck! It’s literally falling apart and dangerous! The corner is coming apart first step off is inches from falling off completely . The owner replaced a few boards after complaints but not enough! The refrigerator took three days to cool off! Maintenance came checked it out and said it was old and nothing they could do. We literally have bruises from the mattresses they are so terrible! Kitchen is stocked with very old pans and no sharp knives. Back door and handle needs replaced. Very hard to open and cut my son-in-law. Door doesn’t even open all the way to the deck. Mold in every bathroom including ceilings.
