This duplex boasts modern yet beachy furnishings, including wicker accents, neutral tones with bold splashes of sunny colors, tile floors in living areas, and carpeting in bedrooms. And you'll enjoy two private decks that face the Gulf. The well-equipped kitchen features a bright blue backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of gadgets and counter space to whip up a feast or just a snack for the beach. Adding extra convenience to this property is an outdoor shower, a primary bedroom with a private balcony, and a first-floor sitting room with a sectional sofa. Location great, attention to detail lacking

The location of this condo was perfect. Walking straight out to the beach and within a short drive to restaurants. Check in/out process was easy. If you tend to be a detail oriented person, this might not be the place to rent. The whole condo could use a coat of paint. The decor was hodge podge and random. Cracks and stains in the ceiling. No blankets on the beds just sheets.

Amazing views

The view was amazing and short walk to the beach. House is charming nothing fancy but definitely a beachy vibe. Definitely planning on coming back next summer. Would love beach chairs and such to come with house but they were easily rented and delivered to the house. Lots of stairs but goes with a water front beach house. Bring laundry detergent because it comes with a washing machine. Good with little ones in the house. The master shower is cool. 3 shower heads just make sure that the top nozzle is pointed toward the toilet so you aren’t blasted with ice cold water. Takes a little bit of time to warm up but it is a nice shower. All and all a nice house with a great location to everything and a decent price that won’t break the bank.

Fun little beach front home

This house was super cute and just what we needed for our trip. You literally walk off the deck and into the sand, which was amazing. The house wasn’t incredibly clean (towels had spots, sheets were older feeling, sand/sticks were in the house) but nothing that impeded our stay. The WiFi was also pretty slow and had to reconnect often. Only other fyi I would throw out was that the bathrooms were a little tight (can’t open the shower door in master if the bathroom door was open). We didn’t really use the kitchen, but everything looked well kept. The house is on the main road in gulf shores, but about 10 minutes from the main downtown area, which was nice! It was pretty quiet, but we went in November so it was off season. Overall it served its purpose and I wouldnt mind staying here again! :)

We enjoyed Coastal Calm!

This home is in a great location and was very comfortable and clean. With a couple of improvements (better curtains and repairs to the downstairs shower drain) it would be my forever house for a vacation!

Great location

We stayed from September 7th-14th and had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully located steps from the beach which was very nice. The house could use some TLC (weak flooring in several spots, living room fan looks sketchy, etc.) Overall, it survived the aftereffects of Hurricane Francine. On Wednesday night my bed shook about all night from the wind and the next morning the outdoor lighting fixture was on the porch broken and outdoor furniture was scattered in different places. We would definitely stay here again for the location.

Coastal Calm & Vacasa don’t care about client safety!

The air conditioner worked flawlessly, I also enjoyed buying and adjustable rod to secure sliding door so my family could leave the house without worrying about anyone entering through the broken door. I really like that Vacasa is more worried about the Wi-Fi than customer safety!

House Needs Work

The property location is great. The property itself is not. There were several electrical issues (not plates on plugs leaving wires exposed, loose plugs, ceiling fan not attached to the ceiling). Bathroom was not clean (pubic hair on the floor at check in, shower would not drain). Outdoor furniture broken (couch on patio was falling apart, coffee was also broken). Dryer I believe was clogged; it took at least (2) drying cycles to dry (2) towels at a time.

Great location! AC works great! I suggest having more towels. We were washing towels a lot. We were never notified of a maintenance worker coming to the house. I was upstairs and learned from my son there was a guy working on the refrigerator. My autistic daughter let him on and he never announced himself. Scary moment when some stranger is in the house. Better communication on that piece.

Bare bones unit

Do not rent from Vacasa! The unit needs so much TLC. No blankets on the beds, lights flickering in kitchen, lights didn’t work in the bedroom, broken patio furniture (that was fun 🙄), broken rails on stairs, broken kitchen drawers that were falling out (apparently this is Vacasa’s calling card-2nd property I’ve stayed in from them that had this issue). I could literally go on and on but I’ll spare you. Just don’t choose this place mainly because it’s listed with Vacasa and they DO NOT maintain homes. The house would do better just turning over on its own and not having a rental company. It’s really a sad situation. The location is amazing and it’s a great view. It’s unfortunate that the house is in such poor shape. The pictures sure look nice though.
