The host was so welcoming and helpful! The house was delightful and only a few minutes walk from the beach. We enjoyed the island so much. It was an easy drive to Charleston for a couple of activities there. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Great base for beach going

This property is ideally situated, close to the beach but so quiet for rest and sleep! And we were equidistant to the point and state beach! Spacious, great outdoor shower, big TV, comfortable beds!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and the host was very kind and super prompt when replying to any question I had! We had quite a few deer right in the backyard which was fun! We all enjoyed the seating area and “hook it” game down below.

The wooded backyard provided a perfect sanctuary for the day’s first cup of coffee and a Bible reading. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this beautiful beach house. Jerry and Sheila

This house is perfect for your family beach trip. The house has plenty of room for game nights to watching movies. The kitchen has everything you could think of needing. The view in the yard was great. We got to watch deer come through the back yard. The outside shower is a big hit. I can not think of one downfall to staying at this house.

About the host

Hosted by Heather Story

Host profile image
Hi! I'm Heather, a full time realtor, property manager, business owner, wife, mom and grandmother. I absolutely love creating inviting spaces and hosting events for others to enjoy!

Why they chose this property

My Husband and I have lovingly renovated this home (2018) and we put our heart and soul into it. We purchased the home as a fixer upper and have enjoyed making memories there and renovating it so we can enjoy it for years to come. We hope you and your family will love it as much as we do! We absolutely love the private lot and the wildlife....so many deer passing through!

What makes this property unique

This home is a short beach walk to access 6 or 7.
