Reviewer Comments: While we did not get the rental we wanted (Bed bugs at the Brigadune condo complex), North Beach Vacations did notify us of the problem and was very accommodating at getting us a replacement. Windy Hill Dunes was a very nice replacement facility. Unit 1202 was very well decorated, the views were great, and it was very clean. Our only negative comment with this facility was we had to drive just about everywhere for lunch, dinner, and drinks. It had no onsite or walking distant restaurants or pubs. As for North Beach Vacations, I would recommend them as a rental provider.

GREAT FAMILY VACATION

Beautiful and clean property. Plenty parking. Room was as described and had plenty of room and all appliances worked properly. HOA staff was not the friendliest and were not the best with kids. Would have given 5 stars if the HOA folks would have been friendlier.

Very Nice

Property was nice, view of the beach and ocean was excellent. Convenient free parking The toaster did not work but a quick call to the property manager had it replaced in minutes. We weren't able to open the drapes and the sliding doors in the master bedroom because the drapes didn't work. We didn't report it...that's on me.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall nice stay, very clean and the maintenance staff was generally very responsive and attentive. Certainly a great location right on the beach overlooking the ocean 12 floors up, and the building itself is very well maintained.Some negatives, which were not overall bad in the grand scheme of things, but still were a little bit nagging- condo furniture/decor, carpeting in the secondary bedrooms is a bit dated, the condo is very dark even with the curtains open and every light on due to dark paint and wallpaper, bathrooms a bit dated with a couple of leaking shower heads in 2 bathrooms. We did experience some maintenance issues during our stay, including a kitchen sink faucet that never functioned properly and towards the end of the stay, it had to be completely replaced because it would not turn off and was slowly leaking a steady stream. Also, the curtains in the master bedroom were not functioning properly by the tension pulley, so we had to pull them manually and parts kept coming off the track and breaking, and the only way we could keep them closed was by bracing them behind the dresser next to the sliding doors. Lastly, there were very few rugs throughout the unit where there was flooring and the rugs looked very old and dirty, so it would be great if those could be replaced and certain areas could have area rugs, or carpeting put down. Also, the pictures and description of the pools are a bit deceiving- it says 4 pools and a lazy river, but it’s actually one pool that is not very big, the lazy river which is a small oval, a 1 ft kid pool, and a 3 ft hot tub. Still adequate for our family and was never really crowded during the day. Overall a nice stay and experience.

Communication with property manager was great. We have three handicapped individuals and Meredith at the office was very helpful! Would definitely staying here!

The dishwasher would not get the dishes clean. We ended up using paper plates and plastic cups and utensils.

Great location and beautiful views! Resort was clean and had a great pool area. Clost to Barefoot landing and great restaurants. The condo was great with 3bed/3bath but needs a little updating - paint is dark and decore/curtains are dark - but overall was great, clean and spacious

Fair price for a priceless view

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd time at a north beach property. Similar facilities and layouts for both. Windy hill dunes was a taller building and right on the beach. We were initially disappointed with the cleaning or lack of, the last patrons actually smoked in the non smoking suite and it was obvious. We alerted the staff but, did not get a response for the issues until the next day. I already remedied the situation. After that everything was great. The amenities were available as promised including ramp parking. Most people cannot drive let alone park properly so it took some skill to maneuver if you didn't drive a compact car. Even those folks took 2 spots most times. But condo was quiet, ac was great after a day at the beach, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable.i would recommend it again but, I would do like us and clean when you get there to your liking and clean well before you go.close enough to all attractions but far enough away to not pay the secret resort taxes at every place. Have fun and make sure you work that jacuzzi tub.

1202 Windy Hill Dunes - July 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great and there was plenty of room in the condo. However, the cleanliness was not good. We planned to cook meals for the week. I had to wash food and grease off the pans in the cabinet before I could use them. They were put up without being cleaned. They need more cooking utensils. One spatula was not enough. We found items under beds...for example, a sock that was not ours, and the baseboards are not being cleaned in areas that are not visible. Elevators were quick which was a plus. It is a great place overall, however, too expensive for a week's stay in the area. The room was not ready at the 4:00 check in time which may explain some of the cleaning issues.

WHD summer 2023

Arrived a day later than we anticipated, management staff were amazing The check-in process after hours went very smoothly. The condo was nice. The interior could Use an update. The beds were average. When we arrived our condo was very dirty. Floor not vacuumed in the bedrooms. Kitchen not swept. Mold around edge of bath tub. No remote for the tv in the bedroom w the the double beds which was the kids room so that was really challenging. The. View was absolutely amazing. The pool and beach area more than great. Has a wonderful pool lady that gave out the pool passes. She was aooo kind to our very large group of 10. All in all average stay.

Dark and dusty

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great as was the view. It is very dark due to dark appointments and inadequate lighting. Appliances were antiquated and stove took twenty five minutes to boil two quarts of water.Our biggest issue was with the outrageous mattresses. They were absolutely as hard as sleeping on the bare floor. The other major issue was dust so dense you could write in it and the mold around shower floor. This may sound hyper critical but it isn’t when faced with all the issues. The glass table tops in poorly light roof resulted in two people sustaining cuts on their legs. We have stayed at Windy Hill Dunes many times and never had these issues. The picture of the bright and sunny living room is not representative of what you see in reality.Rental agency staff pleasant and helpful.

A Wonderful Condo

We had a couple of minor problems that were reported, but not fixed. Fixed the ice maker ourselves; no sound on one of the TVs and the remote on that one didn't work correctly. Otherwise the condo was a great place to stay, with wonderful ammenities. Dishwasher needed a deep cieaning,also.

Not impressed with cleanliness

Condo was very nice and spacious for us 4. Cleanliness of condo was below par, very dusty and floors were sticky. We had a great time in NMB, Even though we had to cut our vacation short by a day with the hurricane coming,. disappointed we were not refunded for the day we weren’t able to use.

What a wonderful getaway

Loved the property. Three bedrooms with three bathrooms. Balcony overlooked the ocean. I would stay there again without hesitation. The condo does need updating, but for the price you can’t beat it.

Heaven On Earth

This unit provides a scenic experience that does not disappoint. My grown children and I celebrate a weekend together at the beach once a year. This unit was perfect for us. Nice decor, balcony, comfortable living room. Bedrooms were comfortable. 3 Bathrooms worked out nicely for us. Thank you!

Great View

Great view, minor issues inside the facility which is expected rental agency seemed to be interested in notifying owner of unit. Hopefully they can get the items fixed before the next guests arrive. Queen bedroom bathroom toilet was not bolted down was uneven and leaked water. Balcony door handle needed tightening. Ceiling fans only worked on one speed. Floors under couch were dirty and had crumbs underneath. Again nothing to threaten the enjoyment of the vacation just minor things that needed attention.
