Tarpon Getaway

This home is in a great location for visiting Tarpon Springs and the surrounding area. It was a quick walk to the docks and downtown and right next to the bike path. Check in was easy, the home was spacious, and we had everything we needed. Thanks for the great visit!

The property was fine. The problem I had was with your advertising! You advertised in CA $ and charged us in US$ That cost us an extra $1500CA. Called and was told cancel if I don’t like it. We were meeting people so that wasn’t an option. Will not deal with VRBO again😡

The place only had 3 wash clothes towels were small. Only had 1 roll of toilet paper. Furniture couch’s chairs beds very uncomfortable. Owner came by with no warning on our 2nd day there my 88 year old mom was by herself with the dog he knocked unlocked the door and was shocked my mom was there said he was bringing glasses that his daughter told him the place didn’t have any that should have been done before our arrival.The place is supposed to be pet friendly but with shells all around the property it’s hard for a pet to go to the bath room. I dropped some change in the master bedroom some rolled under the bed I should’ve taken a picture it had not been cleaned in years dust at least 3 inches thick and a lot of different items under there. This could be a great place but needs improvements and the master bathroom needs a restructure the shower sink and toilet are all in the same area the drain is in the middle of the floor. For what I paid it could have been better. They want you to put the trash by the road strip the beds and put all towels and wash clothes in one bathroom floor.

Hi Bonnie, We always make sure that there are extra linens in the homes, they get stored in the guest bathroom. In the event that you are missing something from one of our homes, we ask that you contact us so we can make sure you have everything that you need. As far as the owner coming to the property, we are always upfront with our guest, the owner has reserved the right to check on the property at any time during the stay. We are sorry to hear that you encountered some dust. We pride ourselves in making sure that the homes are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly between each guest. Our rules say that we allow pets, however, our pictures of the property show that there isn’t any grass. We are sorry to hear that this caused you an inconvenience. Our check out rules state that guests must strip the beds, leave the linens on the beds and put towels and washcloths on the prospective bathroom floor, this helps us ensure that each room is cleaned thoroughly. We ask the trash to be removed and put out to the road to again, help us ensure the house is cleaned. We apologize that you were not satisfied with your stay.

5 mins from down town activities. 7 minutes to boat ramp. Dog park and walk , playgrounds all around you.
