The cabin was lovely and in a great location. Close to downtown Gatlinburg but far enough to have privacy. Very clean and comfortable. We saw multiple bears everyday at our cabin. One even scratched at the backdoor and looked in the window. This was our favorite visit to Gatlinburg. We will plan to come back soon.
The host was phenomenal to work with and very informative about what to look out for while we were there. The stay in the cabin was nice. We had 5 adults and 2 kids for our stay and we all fit very comfortably. My only real complaint is the beds are pretty hard and the couches were tough to operate and sometimes couldn't operate at all which, at the end of a long day in town, was a bummer to have to fight just for it to potentially not work. Location was awesome. We were a 5 minute drive from the heart of Gatlinburg while still being secluded. All in all a great trip.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re glad to hear your group had a comfortable stay, enjoyed the location, and appreciated being so close to downtown Gatlinburg while still having that secluded mountain feel.
We certainly understand that everyone has a different preference when it comes to mattresses. We chose a firmer mattress for durability and support, and we continually receive positive feedback from guests about the comfort of our beds, though we completely understand that a firmer mattress isn’t everyone’s preference.
We also really appreciate you letting us know about the difficulty with the reclining couches. These are newer couches with recliners on each end, so they should be operating properly. We have already contacted the furniture company, and have scheduled some to come out this week for a maintenance check to make sure everything is working as it should.
Feedback like yours is very helpful because it gives us the opportunity to address things we may not otherwise know about. We truly appreciate our guests helping us continually improve, and we’re so glad that overall you had a great trip. Thank you for staying with us!
The cabin was great, close to everything. We hope to stay here again in the future. Everyone enjoyed themselves especially the outdoor seating relaxing in the sun
We had an amazing time at the cabin! We saw bears (adults, moms & cubs, teens) every day, starting from day 1! The cabin was perfect for my family's needs - we were able to hang out, watch tv, play pool, and just relax. It was nice to be close to downtown Gatlinburg but also feel secluded/in the woods. Honestly, we came for bears and were beyond thrilled with our daily sightings. Communication with Stephanie was quick and easy, and we appreciated the fast responses. Our family wholeheartedly recommends this cabin/these hosts. We're already looking forward to returning in the future!
This cabin is delightful. It was clean, well stocked with essentials plus some fun surprises, great outdoor space and convenient to town.Yes, there were bears. Good value.
We had an amazing stay at this cabin! Everything was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The setting was peaceful and beautiful — perfect for relaxing and unplugging. The owners were wonderful to communicate with: responsive, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. We truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tennessee!
Was a very nice cabin. The host was easy to contact and was eager to make sure we had everything we needed. They decorated the cabin for Christmas which was very nice of them. Saw bears the first evening we were there, and even more the last evening we were there. All in all was a great vacation and a great place to stay.

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and the host was quick to respond when we needed to get in touch.
We live in the beautiful Lake Cumberland Area of South Central Kentucky. Gatlinburg has been a favorite vacation destination for our family. We enjoy adventure and we enjoy relaxing. The Great Smoky Mountains offer our family the best of both worlds.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property in October 2017 - almost a year after the horrible fire of 2016. All the property surrounding us was completely destroyed. Now, new and beautiful properties are beginning to be erected. We took great care and consideration in building our cabin. We have filled it with things that make our stay (and hopefully your stay) comfortable, cozy and fun. We invite you and your family to enjoy some adventure and make memories here at our cabin.
What makes this property unique
One of the things we love is our convenient location to downtown Gatlinburg. It's easy to access downtown without the hassle of a lengthy drive. Yet, we love that even though we're close to town, we feel secluded on the mountain. It's quiet and peaceful - and just what we love!
