Sam and I enjoy traveling and quality family time. In addition to raising our four kids and four dogs we both own businesses which demand a lot of time and focus. I am broker in charge of Greenwood Realty Inc. with two office locations and 25 agents. Sam manages SIMTEX International and Bay Island Sportswear which manufactures apparel for global distribution. When we have the rare opportunity to enjoy quality time with each other and our kids we head to the Mountains or Lake Greenwood for cherished family memories.

Location is always our 1st consideration when purchasing vacation rentals because we know we can change everything but the location... and rest assured we always renovate our properties with the finest finishes and touches that make our stay as special as we want yours to be! AMAZING! Can't say enough about our stay at Smokey Mountain II. The owners are very easy to work with and everything was as promised. Put your concerns to bed. You will not be disappointed. Not only was the cabin beautiful, it was so very convenient to everything. In addition to every couple having their private bedroom and attached bath, the bedding and linens were 4 star rating. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could have needed and oh so organized. Those of us with OCD certainly appreciated that. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone searching for a perfect place to stay. Hopefully, this property will be available for our future trips. Will definitely call again. Thank you again, Renee, for your wonderful personal service. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours.

Nice place - very clean and well kept!!

The property is very nice and perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. We had 4 couples and the 4 bedroom suites were perfect! Plenty of room to gather but also your own private space when needed. I would recommend this property and I would return!

Nice Home, Close to everything

The property was very nice and comfortable. I will say the pictures must have been taken on panoramic view because the kitchen wasn't as spacious as I believed it to be from the website. The home is close to downtown and a grocery store, so that was very convenient. Please pay attention to emails as my family and I went with the physical address of the property to get there but ended up about 30 mins out from it. Renee was hard to contact as I had a couple of questions during the stay and called the number listed on the emails. There weren't major issues but just to have someone to speak with and know they were available would have eased my mind better. My family was really impressed with the house and we enjoyed it overall.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review..I agree that all guest should pay attention to the email as a map and specific directions are included because my cabins are located on a private drive that doesn't always show up on GPS.. The Map is very easy to read as we are one turn off HWY 321 just behind the Alamo Steakhouse downtown Gatlinburg. Sorry you had a hard time finding the cabin!

Great cabin. Very nice. Close to everything.

We stayed in this cabin for Spring Break 2016. We had 2 families (4 adults and 5 kids.) The cabin is as described. Its very nice and very well kept. There are 4 identical bedrooms with king beds, Jacuzzi tubs, flat screen tvs, and full baths. The kids had to double up in the king beds, but no one seemed to care. The main area and kitchen were fine. The wifi was fast and worked great (25g down/4g up.) I was pleased with the fast wifi since most VRBO places we stay dont spend money on the fast download speeds. When you Spring Break with multiple families with lots of gadgets, you NEED fast internet. We also enjoyed the hot tub out on the balcony. It was clean and worked great. The kids enjoyed the pool table and the old school video arcade game that had 60 timeless game classics on it (dig dug, centipede, donkey kong, etc.) My only complaint about the cabin was the grill. I expected to have a regular gas grill at our disposal. However, all the cabins up there only had a old campsite type grill with a large grate and no top. I'm sure they work okay, but we were planning on grilling steaks and pork tenderloin and chose not to based on the grill availabe. The description on VRBO just says "outdoor grill." I think it needs to be better defined. VRBO description also mentions NETFLIX availability. I'm pretty technical, but could not figure out where/how to work Netflix at the cabin. Not a big deal though. Location wise the cabin is great too. You're literally only a mile from the Gatlinburg strip and about 10 miles from Dollywood. This cabin is convenient to everything. Overall I would highly recommend this cabin.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review ~ Hate I lost a star over the grill! I'm angry about that as well..We purchased large Cowboy grills and placed them on our decks only to have the fire marshall shut us down until all grills were removed from our rentals..Seems there is a new law since someone burned half the mountain down last year that rentals can not have grills on the balcony and must be only a certain size and away from the structure..So we have the maximum allowed without being shut down. We have a large family as well and loved having the Large Grill on the deck for the short time we got away with it!

Our experience was excellent. The cabin, property, and view were stunning. Everything was so well kept that it was easy to get comfortable as soon as we arrived at the cabin. We had plenty of room and enjoyed all the ammentities the cabin had to offer. We definitely did not want to leave. I definitely plan on using this same cabin again in the future.
