About this property

Briar Brook - Private Smoky Mtn Luxury Full Log Home w /2 Fireplaces on 3 acres

Welcome to Your Smoky Mountain Sanctuary

Imagine waking to birdsong filtering through towering trees, sipping morning coffee on your private deck surrounded by 3 wooded acres, then spending your day however you choose—thrilling theme parks, pristine hiking trails, or simply unwinding in your own secluded mountain paradise. This is more than a cabin rental. This is your gateway to the Smokies experience you've been dreaming about.

A True Log Home With Soul

Step inside an authentic full-log cabin where history meets comfort. Your feet touch 100-year-old red, white, and black oak tobacco barnwood floors—each plank telling a century of stories. These aren't just decorative touches; this is genuine Appalachian craftsmanship that you can feel in every timber and beam. Modern luxuries blend seamlessly: granite countertops gleam in the fully equipped kitchen and both bathrooms, high-speed 1.2 GB internet keeps you connected, and four flatscreen TVs offer entertainment when mountain views aren't enough.

Sleeps 6 in Thoughtful Comfort:

• Main level master: Sink into a plush king bed after a day of adventure
• Lower level guest room: Queen bed in a peaceful, private setting
• Game room retreat: Short queen bed perfect for kids or extra guests
• Two full bathrooms (one per level) mean no morning traffic jams

Your Days, Your Way

Adventure Seekers:
You're just 4 miles from Great Smoky Mountains National Park's entrance. Hit the trails at Laurel Falls or Metcalf Bottoms, chase waterfalls at The Sinks, or soar through the trees at Wears Valley Zipline Adventures. Grab our complimentary fishing poles—sized for both kids and adults—and cast a line at the Honeysuckle Pool community fishing pond. Winter warriors? Ober Mountain Ski Resort awaits with skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and breathtaking alpine views.

Family Fun Headquarters:

Dollywood's roller coasters and live shows (16 miles). Ripley's Aquarium wonder (17 miles). The Island's shops and attractions (12 miles). The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster thrill (10 miles). From WonderWorks to the Deer Farm, you're minutes from memories that last a lifetime.

Relaxation Masters:

Here's where this cabin truly shines. After your Pigeon Forge adventures, return to YOUR private retreat. Fire up the Blackstone grill for a family cookout. Challenge the kids to foosball while dinner sizzles. As twilight falls, sink into the bubbling hot tub under a canopy of stars—no neighbors, no crowds, just nature's soundtrack. Cozy up by one of two gas fireplaces (main level and lower level) with a good book or your favorite people. This is the privacy and peace you can't find in a hotel.

The Location Advantage

Positioned perfectly on Wears Valley Road, you get the best of both worlds: complete seclusion on 3 private acres with seasonal mountain views, yet effortless access to everything the Smokies offer. Thank you for considering our lovely cabin for your vacation stay!
It’s been over 20 years since my husband and I first discovered Wears Valley on a whim and fell in love with the breathtaking Smoky Mountains and warm, wonderful people here. As we were driving around, taking in the beauty, we found this lot and decided to build our dream cabin away from the stresses of work to unwind and appreciate God’s creation.

We spent many months planning and ordering, not just the lumber for the base of the home, but also the special flooring from a 100-year-old tobacco barn that was being dismantled.

We are getting close to retiring in another 5 years or so and we hope to be able to come back here and settle down permanently.

Having said that, we greatly appreciate all the care you take when staying here. We want you to enjoy your time in our sweet cabin and take in all the surrounding attractions, hiking trails, fine restaurants, and swimming and fishing in our community recreation area. There is so much to do here and when it comes time to relax, you can sit on back porch and enjoy a beverage or submerge yourself in the hot tub as the bubbles and jets massage your muscles in complete privacy.

If there is anything you need or if you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We also have a complimentary set of coffee mugs with a photo of the cabin on it as a token of our appreciation. We wish you safe travels and look forward to having you as a guest in our home.
