This was our second stay, the place is amazing. Right along the river. Very serene setting and the house has everything you need. It is also very close to my sister so I look forward to future stays.

We look forward to you staying in the future! Sure your sister does too.
I highly recommend this location to stay... Right on the stream, relaxing no matter what the time of year. Very cozy and relaxing.
The owners are good people, very friendly.
We had a blast- great location, great views, great fishing, and great overall experience. WiFI was great. We did several hikes in area and fished a lot. We will be back!

Will be happy to have you back. Thrilled you enjoyed it!
Had a great time here getting away in a socially-distant fashion. Super close to Stuart Recreation Area for walks and scenic drives. Elkins is close by for supplies restaurants, coffee, etc. Cabin is a perfect size for a couple.

Emily happy you had a pleasant stay. Hope to have you as a return guest when things in Elkins get back to normal. Regards! Billy and Andi
The cabin is away from the main road and faces Shavers Fork-a very wide flowing stream surrounded by tall trees. The cabin itself is lovely and very comfortable. It is next to Monongahela National Park which offers several hiking trails and a swimming hole. We loved our time there. So beautiful and peaceful.
This was our second stay at Riverside Retreat and we hope to come back in the future. The cabin is clean, it has a great open floor plan, and the bed is super comfortable. The best feature of the property is the back porch. The view of the river is lovely and we spent hours watching the ducks, kingfishers, and hawks. Our dogs were in heaven, too!

Thank you again for staying with us. Welcome back anytime.
Riverside Retreat was an amazing little weekend getaway. Great for a couple or small group. We caught over 75 fish in 2 days!! Saw a bald eagle land right behind the cabin on a rock in the river, ate at great local restaurants, and chatted with some wonderful locals and visitors. We will definitely be back and tried to already book for next year but 2025 is not available yet. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great relaxing weekend to fish, hike, relax, etc. We had an amazing weekend and will book an extra night next time!

Look forward to hosting you folks again. So glad you were able to experience the eagle sighting. Thank you again for staying with us.
King bed in bedroom was a nice surprise. Still plenty of space in the room. Teenagers found the sleeper sofas comfortable. Rhododendrons and hemlock trees around the cabin were beautiful with snow. Nice view from inside cabin of the clear rocky bottom stream. Kitchen etc had everything we needed. Thank you!

Thanks Barb. We appreciate you folks staying with us! Welcome back anytime.
The property is very convenient to Elkins and all the great restaurants there. It was a good base for some hikes too. The cabin is quiet, clean, well-stocked, nicely furnished and decorated. The door lock is a keypad - no more lost keys! The deck overlooking the river faces south, so even in late October we could enjoy sitting in the new comfy chairs on the deck. Andi was great to work with. The only issue for some may be that the shower stall is smallish, though it was fine for my husband and myself. Tips: My Verizon phone didn't work in most places in WV (Elkins - fine), but my husband's T-Mobile did. If you have Verizon, contact Andi or Billy before you loose service:) We had a nice stay and would recommend it to friends.
What a lovely cabin! More comfortable than a fine hotel suite, this cabin had a great riverfront view for morning coffee on the back deck. TV if you want it; cozy blankets for the aforementioned deck; dog friendly touches; and a great Elkins area location.
Beautiful cabin. Wonderful access to Monongahela National park and hiking trails and swimming areas
The cabin is right on Shavers Fork River. So relaxing and listening to the flowing water and singing birds was the best! Cabin was comfortable and very nice.
