Why Teresa McElroy chose Beverly

This is such a naturally beautiful area, the perfect retreat from hectic city life, somewhere to relax and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings, listen to the birds and the wind in the trees, gaze at the stars, view wildlife, watch the seasons change...there is beauty and solitude in every season here.

What makes this cabin unique

The cabin/log home offers complete privacy and seclusion, a chance to get away from it all and enjoy nature, see the night sky and the stars, birdwatching, etc., yet is not too remote for enjoying off-site activities. The property features grassy and shaded yard areas, private walking trails, an outdoor fire pit, a small creek runs near the edge of the acreage, and there is a variety of terrain to enjoy, hills, flat areas, natural woodlands and open wildflower fields.

A super host and top notch hidden getaway

  • 5 of 5

Can't be beat if you like seclusion, nature, peace and quiet. It's all there for the taking.

The cabin is clean and comfortable, and Teresa has left no stone unturned when it

comes to supplying everything one could possibly need. Her attention to detail is remarkable.

As a couple of old timers walks through the woods were a bit much, but in my younger years I would have loved every step. Still we were up before the dawn and before we knew it we were watching the deer as the sunset. We will absolutely be requesting another visit.

Cozy and serene

  • 5 of 5

This was our second trip to the cabin in Beverly and it was just as fantastic as the first! The cabin was as beautiful and cozy as we remembered, and the scenery around the cabin and the town area was wonderful. The cabin is perfectly located within easy driving distance to fun sites to explore - civil war battle sites, national forests, hiking trails with breathtaking mountain views, all of which we were able to enjoy within a 45 min drive away and still have plenty of time to return in the evening to spend cooking dinner and relaxing in the new hot tub! We were surprised (pleasantly) once again at the amount of amenities included at the cabin - especially in the kitchen. You simply cannot get much better than this place. We definitely plan to return in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Perfect mini gateaway

  • 5 of 5

We arrived pretty late on Friday night but Teresa gave us great directions and we were able to navigate smoothly. The cabin was very warm and inviting with little touches here and there to make us feel at home. The cabin included a spacious kitchen, wood burning fire place (can buy wood from owner or purchase your own), lots of books and games for entertainment, beautiful views of the wood from the decks, hot tub, and much more. We enjoyed taking a hike behind the house, making breakfast and dinner, tending to the fireplace, playing cards, and looking at the beautiful starry night sky! Overall, the cabin was clean and spacious and perfect for the two of us. It can accommodate bigger families and even pets (has a fenced in backyard and kennel). We hope to be back again soon. Thanks Teresa!
