The first thing that will strike you when you enter Valley View is the wall of windows that brings nature right into your living spaces. The spacious, open floor plan flows from the comfortable living room with a fireplace and huge wall-mounted HDTV to the handsome kitchen with its large island. New hardwood floors throughout add a special beauty to the tasteful Southwestern décor. Settle back in the comfortable living room to watch a movie on either Roku or the BluRay DVD. For meals you have a fully equipped kitchen at your command with a huge prep island and all the kitchen equipment you need. Gather your group around the dining table, or better yet, take your meal out to enjoy on the deck.

After a day of fishing, golfing or hiking, you’ll get a great night’s sleep in Valley View’s large primary bedroom with TV, a king-size bed, and French door access to the deck. The room is so comfortable you may not want to leave it come morning. The en suite bathroom features dual sinks and vanities along with a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a king-size bed and the third bedroom is outfitted with a queen-size bed. These two rooms share a full bathroom. Beautiful Rental with Great Views!

Views are amazing!

The views from this property was amazing! Saw lots of wildlife right off porch! How was clean and nicely furnished, although the king mattress upstairs was very uncomfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here & will definitely stay again.

The view

The most beautiful scenery one could ever imagine! The pine trees whistling with the brisk winds blowing through . Wildlife is never a miss , and ready for pictures feels like ! Although the house we stayed in , was not the house we booked , something to do with the fold out couch/ bed couldn’t get pushed back in ! I was told we can change to another house that was supposedly an upgrade with no up charge , so we agreed! Sounded like a good deal , really didn’t have a chance to really look through it. Only to realize the only upgrade was that it costed more . It was a three bedroom 2 bath , and so was the original condo we booked , But the upgrade was only 1700 square footage, the original…was nearly 2000 square footage, the original also came with 2 king beds and one queen bed, the “upgrade” came with 1king , 1queen , and 1 twin . Hmmm , that’s an upgrade ? Hey but you know I guess the beautiful city of Ruidoso really , really made up for it ! Overall we had a sweet time there! Upgrade or not !

Stay Here For the View

We just returned from a weeks stay in Ruidoso and this was a great property to be at! Close to midtown with all the shops and restaurants. We wanted a fabulous view with a patio as we like to enjoy coffee and breakfast each morning outside. This house definitely did not disappoint in this aspect. Here are a few pros: 1-the view and location close to town 2-open concept living and kitchen with the big patio door and windows 3-local wildlife each morning. We fed the hummingbirds new food when they ran out and enjoyed watching them every morning. Saw a doe and her baby nursing right off the patio as well 4-AC! Cools the house nicely especially with the warm weather Ruidoso was having 5-kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots pans plates cups a crockpot grilling utensils microwave coffee maker some dish and hand soap a few coffee packs for maybe a day or so; bring spices- I did find salt and pepper above the microwave and I left some sugar as well we used to make hummingbird food 6-unique decor kept the house interesting. Combination of NM style decor combined with some interesting artwork as well as pottery pieces downstairs 7-lots of books if you are a reader 8-master shower was HUGE with either a rain shower head or a handheld. Superb pressure with the handheld! 9-oscillating fan in the master closet if you need one Opportunity was cleanliness. It really needs a deep clean. Owner should check in on the cleaning company as they are not doing their job.

Beautiful house and view not wheelchair accessible

Unfortunately description was inaccurate. VRBO had a summary on the house. Which did not include anything about stairs outside or inside. Nor the second floor going down, which had the washer and dryer as well as the master bedroom with the shower. On the main floor were two bedrooms that shared a bathtub. The photos show no stairs to get into the house outside or inside. It also has the amenities that has wheel chair accessible. That is how I found this beautiful home. I filtered it to be wheel chair accessible. My father who we have taken to Ruidoso for the past four years has Parkinson’s and is not mobile. Before I rented I left messages on VRBO to make sure this house was right for my elderly parents and was told Condotel management would contact me. They never did so I contacted them. I called several times to let them know my concerns about stairs and the shower access. They reassured me. When we got to the house it was a nightmare not only was it not ADA compliant ( wheel chair accessible). Their room/ shower was downstairs. I immediately called Condotel Management ( local in Ruidoso) and let them know my concerns and how unacceptable this was. They said they would call me back. Made no attempt to fix this situation and make the house ADA compliant nor did they suggest to rent a room for my parents at a hotel that was wheel chair accessible. They said they would call me the next day. They did not call until Sunday day before weleft.

Wonderful mountain getaway

We loved our stay! The view is better than any picture can provide. Didn’t want to leave the deck but there was so much to do in the area. The location is perfect and super easy to town. The layout of the house was perfect.

Property needs work and needs a really good cleaning . Carpet’s stink of pet urine and are dirty. Smell knocks u over when u walk into house . But the view is awesome.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and loved seeing the wildlife. I was looking forward to laying in the hammock as shown in the pictures, but it wasn't there. That pic should be removed. Only down side was the downstairs bedroom was warm. Other than that, we had a wonderful time! Would go again.

This has the best views and is close to town. Had tons of towels and plates etc. Only negative is king bed downstairs doesn't have sheets or a comforter that fit properly. Needless to say, it wasn't very comfortable. Be sure to bring salt etc. Good trip!

Wonderful property with some small issues

We loved the home. The views were beautiful. There was a rotten deck board that needs to be repaired and the downstairs bathroom door would not close. It could be fixed with shims. The only thing we really didn’t like was that a skunk was living under the home. It was aweful. If that were taken care of, we would gladly return to this wonderful home.

Great property but...

I loved this property but as I enter the home there was a strong fresh paint odor also there was many and I really mean many about more than 50, I didn’t really count them but there was just too many dead flies on the floor, I started swiping all the upstairs they were everywhere in the kitchen, rooms, living room and the bathroom. When I thought I was done I went down stairs to the master bedroom and they were there too on the stairs and in the room and bathroom. They expect for you to leave the cabin in excellent condition or they will charge you for anything but they obviously didn’t make sure the cabin was clean for our arrival. Other than that I loved the view and how close it was to everything the lake was like 5min away and there’s a park down the hill as well as all the shopping stores and restaurants. I loved my stay and I will stay again just calling ahead to make sure it’s clean before we get there.
