About Ronald Looney
Former Merrill Lynch Management Executive. Began building real estate portfolio in 1994, with houses, apartments, commercial office and NNN Leases. Moved into the Florida market in 2008. Resident of Siesta Key FL.
Ronald Looney purchased this House in 2008
Why Ronald Looney chose Siesta Key
Our family fell in love with Siesta Key during family vacations. Decided to have our 'own' home on the beach and also utilize it within our business model of rental real estate.
What makes this House unique
We really never thought we could own a house on the beach and make it a financially sound investment. Purchased when the market was waining and the property was in disrepair. With a significant remodeling budget, we were able to create what some call the 'best house on Siesta Beach' Everyone that visits raves about the house and in 2016 we rented 50 of 52 weeks with 80% of those rentals from previous tenants. In 2013, we found that we only had 2 weeks available for our family because of the demand. That has what has lead to the purchase of 110 Beach Road on July 1st, 2013

Gorgeous beach house! No complaints. Ron was very friendly and responsive. Really enjoyed the beautiful beach and sunsets and all the wonderful restaurants. Just a couple blocks away from the village, which was really nice too!
A little slice of Paradise
Where to begin? My husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely home, Ron. You truly considered every detail for our comfort and convenience. It was everything we expected and more; the pictures are very accurate, the beds super comfy, and from every window/slider, the view - just spectacular. The kitchen is well equipped even though we did not cook as much as I thought we would. Morton's Gourmet Foods is a gem, so why bother with the mess? My husband is a pancake fiend so he made those twice, but otherwise, we were out. We enjoyed the beach, whether walking or sunning. Again - loads of beach paraphernalia for our pleasure. The location is just perfect. Just steps away, we explored Siesta Key Village and had dinner at Gabbiano's our first night - terrific! Another Broken Egg is a must - breakfast and lunch were superb. Don't forget the info center next to the post office/Davidson drug store - very kind and helpful. And you can print your boarding pass there (Davidson) if needed.
Some restaurants we enjoyed are Miguel's and Ophelia's on Midnight Pass Road for a nice evening out; Turtle's has a waterfront view and is casual, so is the fish market near Miguel's - very fresh fish. Columbus in St. Armand Circle is great for lunch. Not so crazy about Captain Curts though.
Do not miss the Ringling Museum and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Lunch at the Ringling cafe was excellent; at the Botanical, just okay.
For a different view of Florida (cows, no condos), visit Myakka State Park. Boat tour was cool; saw loads of gators but after that, I was a little leary of hiking there. The canopy walk is fantastic- you are above the treetops! Lunch there was surprisingly good too.
We'd love to return next year, this time for two weeks. It was great, grand, and glorious :-)
Thank you so much for opening your home to us.

Beautiful views , beautiful home . It was best vacation ever
Very nice home and in a great area of Siesta Key
Three minute walk into the Village and direct beachfront. Home was clean and very comfortable for four of us. Ron was on top of all details and has the home well equipped. Highly recommend this home!
Thank you !
Great location and well-equipped for families
This was our first time in Siesta Key. We stayed Oct. 14th-21st and had a great time. The house was very clean and had everything you’d need, even beach towels and sand toys. It was an easy stroll down to the beach and into the village as well. Ron was easy to get in touch with and a pleasure to work with. We’d rent again in a heartbeat.
