The home features two cozy bedrooms (one walk-through) and a spacious living area, 2 bathrooms & kitchen all thoughtfully designed for your comfort.  BBQ your catch relaxing by the Pool Tiki  Hut. Great stay and enjoyed the area. Nice little yard with pool that was perfect temperature. Loved the property and really enjoyed our stay. Close to everything you need for an amazing and relaxing time.

Perfect little getaway

This house was perfect for my three daughters, my husband and I. We spent a lot of time in the pool and sitting I’m on the side of the dock looking in the canal. The house had everything we needed and we had a great time!

Canal sea life was incredible.

Everything you need is there, the neighborhood is great, walk to incredible sunsets on the beach, close to evryhing. The best part was the entertainment in the canal if you don't have a boat or great access to the sea if you do.

Great location

The house was updated and very clean. The beds were also very comfortable. The pool was refreshing after being in salt water. I would say the dock pilings could use a little more padding however we would definitely book there again.

Very nice property! Updated and very clean!

We really enjoyed our stay! Ease of access to do some snorkeling and enjoying time on the water. Small pool was nice for a quick cool down after boating all day. Property manager was easy to talk and work with! The only downfall was having to walk thru one room to get the the other room, however we just walked outside and around so as to not disturb the sleeep of others… would definitely recommend this property !

We enjoyed the location and the amenities of this property. However, we left the property cleaner then when we arrived. The floors were still dirty, we even found powdered half eaten donuts in the living room. Many of the lights and fans did not work.

Favorite vacation so far

It can be hard to please a family of 4 especially two teenagers but after our week we all agreed that this vacation was in our top 3 places visited so far. Usually we drive around and find another place we would like to stay instead when we come back to the area. This was the first trip that didn't happen. The main thing we loved was the canal and the location. We saw a lot of wildlife in the canal manatees (two days), nurse sharks, lots of jellyfish, iguanas, and birds. We visited Sombrero Beach one day but all of us preferred the private beach at the Cabana Club. The location was perfect for riding a bike or walking to the club. We also loved taking the kayak out. Super close proximity to the wide open ocean. We didn't cook while there but the condo seemed fully stocked.

Great location

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, it is nice to have access to the beach club, there was lots of activity in the channel( manatees, rays, and fish) so the kids loved that. A few issues that’s might have been handled with a proper pre check in inspection. 1) the hot water heater was off needing to be reset— not a huge issue we are homeowners and know that things happen, but we realized this after hours on Saturday and it was difficult to get a response from anyone one lady told us to run the hot water in all faucets for ten minutes but it did not work and so we ended up waiting until the next day, and I had to walk through the fixing process with the property manager with repeated phone calls to get the issue managed. The lady we spoke to the evening before told us no one had been in the home for three days prior so simply checking that the light was on to the on demand hot water heater would have saved some hassle. 2- the knob in the master shower was disconnected and the lazy Susan cabinet door was off it’s hinges, again a simple inspection prior to check in would have caught these issues. Both were handled promptly by the property manager. 3- there were dirty dishes put away in the cabinets( pots and pans), the pull out couch when unfolded had food crumbs, pop corn kernels on it, it had clearly not been cleaned or changed. there was an empty beer car on the back porch next to one of the chairs.

We enjoyed our stay overall, but there were a few issues worth noting.We had difficulty completing the required documents for Key Colony, and it took multiple requests to the renter before this was resolved.The property itself is nice; however, the furniture in the den is not very comfortable. Also, the listing description and photos do not make it clear that you have to walk through one bedroom to access the other, which could be important for some guests.Upon arrival, we found a trash bag left on the front chair. The next morning, we discovered the coffee maker was broken, although it was replaced later that day.The pool was nice, but the pool man let us know the heater and filter had tripped and were not working.Additionally, while not stated in the listing description, other reviews mention access to the Cabana Club, and there are even photos suggesting this amenity. However, it is not actually included or available.

Great stay!!

This place was fantastic exactly as advertised. Jane was quick to respond with a couple of early on questions. The property was clean, the pool was great, and we spent every evening relaxing under the tiki hut, OMG I want one for my back yard. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and loved the decorations. The extra beach towel that were provided was a great touch. If you are in Key Colony and this place is available, it’s a no brainer! Thank you John and Jane for a wonderful stay!

The perfect beach house!!

We can’t say enough how much we absolutely loved this rental. It was so comfortable and accommodating in every single way possible. It was just perfect for our family of 6. When we weren’t at the beach,or on excursions my kiddos spent sun up to sundown playing in the backyard pool. We saw so much marine life right out our back door. Barracuda, massive stingrays, jellyfish, starfish, and abundance of other fish. The pelicans and seagulls just knew when the boats were coming back home they were about to be fed. Very entertaining to say the least. Our neighbors and other surrounding vacationers were always so pleasant and kind. It was always a calm and quiet atmosphere. If you are looking for fun, relaxation and peace this is absolutely the house for you. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house! My kiddos didn’t want to leave. We miss it already. Thinking of the day we will see you all again.

Close to everything in Marathon We have stayed in KCB in many rentals for over 10 years and love the area The rental was quiet, comfortable and loved the Tiki cover and pool The rooms are close but the separate entrance is nice The master bathroom is very small but not overall a big deal

Awesome Experience

We love Key Colony and loved staying at this property. It was perfect for our small family of 4 (we have a 10 yo and 6 yo). The kids loved having their own small pool on the patio and access to the Cabana Club pool and beach. My husband and I loved being right on the water. We rented a boat for the week and spent our days boating, snorkeling, and hanging out on the sandbar. We did not cook while we were there so we cannot speak to whether the kitchen is well stocked for cooking dinner at night. We like to eat out at different restaurants each night when on vacation. The condo was very clean and came with beach towels. That was a nice bonus since we flew there and tried to pack only the essentials. You do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the master bedroom. It wasn’t a problem for our family but definitely something you may want to keep in mind as you are booking your trip. This is a place we will look into booking again next time we decide to visit the keys.

Best of key colony

The property was marvelous. My wife was amazed that literally everything we needed was already in the house. The pool was wonderful after a day on our boat. And the bait freezer was a perfect touch. Inside is completely updated which is really nice. I have been to key colony many times. This property is my favorite. We are already planning our next trip
