This bright and spacious 1,300 sq ft upper-level suite features high ceilings, skylights, a cozy living area, two full bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy a king bed, double bunk, and a fun bonus game room—perfect for families.

Amenities include free parking, Wi-Fi, and Netflix. Conveniently located just minutes from VIU, the aquatic center, ice rink, bowling alley, and downtown Nanaimo. Ideal for families or small groups, accommodating up to 4 adults (19+) plus children.

Location & Westwood Lake
The suite is located in a suburban residential area near Westwood Lake and its surrounding trails. Westwood Lake is approximately a 15-minute walk from the suite, depending on the access point, or about a 6-minute drive.

VRBO’s automated property summary indicates that Westwood Lake is a 9-minute walk from the suite. This estimate does not reflect all lake access points or pace of each individual.

Please note that this is a near-lake property, not a lakefront property. The suite is not located directly on Westwood Lake, does not have lake views, and is not situated by the ocean or sea.

The property has a private feel but it is owner-occupied in accordance with current City of Nanaimo bylaws, which is common for many local Airbnbs.

Please review the sleeping arrangements carefully to make sure they are a good fit for your group. The suite is best suited for families and small groups, with a king bed in the primary bedroom, a double/single bunk in the bunk room, and two foldable sleeper chairs in the game room.

Bunk Room: The bunk bed features a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top. The lower double bed is designed to sleep two adults; however, comfort is subjective and may vary from person to person. The upper single bed sleeps one child or teen.

This sleeping arrangement was designed with two families traveling together in mind, while making the most of the space available. While it may not be the ideal sleeping arrangement for everyone, it can offer a more affordable alternative to booking separate hotel rooms and allows everyone to stay together under one roof.

Extra blankets, sheets, and pillows are available upon request. Please let us know in advance if you would like any additional bedding prepared for your stay.
