"If there ever were a perfect house in a perfect location, it is this one. We had the privilege of staying in this beautiful retreat for three nights (wish it were much much longer)! Our family of four traveled to this magical place with my parents. It slept six of us very comfortably with a whole bedroom to spare. After making your way down the steep driveway (take it very slow), the house is entered into on the floor of the three bedrooms. From there you can decide to walk upstairs to the upper room with a tv, a couch, a desk and chair, two beds (a single bed and a double bed) and a door to the lovely upper deck. This area of the house is very high up with beautiful panoramic views of the sea below. It is positively stunning. My children slept up there because this hideaway room had a tree house like feel, and they enjoyed it very much. On the entry level are three bedrooms- a light green master with a comfy queen bed, walk in closet, amazing views and attached bathroom with an old fashioned soaker tub, a lilac room with a queen and stunning views, and a smaller yellow room with two oversized single beds (perfect for kids). The lilac and yellow bedrooms share a nice full hallway bathroom. The downstairs (and the most amazing part of the house) is absolutely stunning. There is a bathroom, dining area and living room area to the left of the stairs, and to the right is the fabulous kitchen and the most amazing family room sitting area with huge windows and absolutely beautiful views of the surrounding trees and sea below. This area is by far the best part of the house, and our jaws dropped when we first saw it. Absolutely magical! From the amazing indoor sitting area, you can go outside to a very nice deck under the trees with several chairs and a table. And from there you can walk down a lovely pathway of stairs to the sea below. There are a lot of stairs but a few places along the way you can stop and sit. If you keep walking, you eventually make your way down to the calm ocean below. My children LOVED the outside and were down by the ocean most of the time scoping out small and large crabs, fish and purple, orange and brown sea stars. This is a very tall Victorian style home literally built into a cliff. One could easily spend a week/two just relaxing at this fantastic place. I pride myself on finding it as it was an absolute gold mine as far as what the house offers for the price. If you go to Victoria, do NOT miss staying at this fabulous house!"

  • Excellent condo and great management

"My wife and I have stayed at number of times at this remarkable condo and it has become our favourite holiday location. We will be returning again for the month of September for our fourth time. The condo is beautiful and bright and we find it very peaceful. The views from the condo are absolutely spectacular. My daughter and I are floatplane pilots so the non-stop floatplane action in the harbour, which we can view directly from our deck, is delightful to watch along with all of the other watercraft activity. We do not rent a vehicle when we are there and simply walk everywhere. Shopping, grocery store, restaurants, fresh seafood store, parks and beautiful walkways are closely located making this location ideal if you don't have a vehicle. The property manager has been exceptional and we have always received excellent service and care from her both leading up to our rental time and during our stay. She has kindly provided us a bottle of wine on each arrival and the condo has always been in prime condition. If we have had any questions or issues arise while we are on site she has always replied promptly and things were taken care of very quickly. We would not hesitate for a second to recommend both this property and manager."

  • Clean and central to everything!

"I found this condo to be very clean. The property managers were great to work with and made logistics very easy. It is central to everything in Victoria. The only place we had to drive to was Butchart Gardens which was 30 minutes away. Everything else was within blocks. The only drawback of the actual unit was the water pressure in the master bath. Our showers took longer because there was little pressure. Oddly, the bath worked fine and water came out normally in all other places. While there is a pool in the complex, it was rather small. It's great for kids to jump in, which my little one did. But it isn't ideal for laps. Also, the hot tub was not as hot as I had liked it to be. Kids could go in there briefly without any issues though...which is somewhat of a plus. I'd recommend this place for it's ease of booking and for it's proximity to everything. The unit is very affordable and it is a "luxury" place."

  • Excellent historic home!

"My wife and I spent May in Victoria staying at this lovely property. We are planning to come back next year for a longer stay. The house is well maintained, clean, and easy to settle into. We could walk into town, into the park across the street, and to the Cook street village a couple of blocks away. We found we could walk to get pretty well everything, including groceries, yoga classes, and the local pub. We couldn't recommend this property more highly. Nancy made setting up the booking very easy and took care of all the details for us. For a first VRBO experience, it was fantastic."
