  • A beautiful home in a lovely peaceful setting.

"This property was just as described on the website. It was very clean and everything we needed was provided for us. The owners were very easy to communicate with and promptly replied to any questions we had. It is a beautiful home in a peaceful setting right on the water. We really enjoyed our stay at this home and would love to return for another visit in the future."

  • A fun time was had by all

"My sisters and I got together to just enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed this house as well. It was very comfortable and very accommodating. It was amazing to wake up and enjoy our morning coffee, watching out the window, whether the fog was rising or a variety of bird were entertaining us. The house was spotless when we arrived. We loved the décor and the art pieces as well and had numerous discussions about it. The location was great for the touring that we did. Would definitely stay there again if in Victoria and would definitely recommend the house to others. (The only down side was the downstairs bathroom. Somewhat small and damp. My towels didn't always dry after taking a shower.)"

  • Pristine condo, excellent location, and impeccable service

"I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From start to finish, we were over the moon impressed with every aspect of our stay. Once you book the condo, you will receive numerous emails about the property, the area, recommendations, and check-in processes. That's a really nice touch because having booked so many places over VRBO/HomeAway, I'm sometimes nervous when I don't immediately hear from the booking service. Arrival information is clear and you're given numerous contacts to insure a smooth check-in. Lawrence was amazing and took the time to get us familiar with the area, recommended restaurants, and great attractions. The condo itself is sparkly clean (I'm almost a germophobe, so this is always a big deal for me). The layout is fantastic, giving everyone lots of space. As a corner unit, the windows are tall and the light is fantastic. Having stayed in so many vacation homes before, I was shocked at how well-stocked this home was. The kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home! The parking garage is safe and large. The condo is more beautiful than the pictures can show. As for location, it cannot be beat. Restaurants galore at your doorstep; literally, since there is a delicious restaurant at the base of the building. All of the restaurants, stores, coffee shops, ice cream places, Chinatown, the Harbor, farmers markets -- everything is walking distance. We always look for walking proximity to amenities and this condo more than fits the bill. I do not hesitate to recommend this property and this team! I only wish this team ran the booking for every property I want to book. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

  • Super Location...definitely NOT luxury as described

"Positives : The best thing this listing has going for it is the location and parking. It really couldn't be better if you want to walk the street and see the downtown and have a car. Living room with couch and two comfy chairs are nice although the fireplace is not easy to operate and when it did light there was not full ignition of the gas flame . For this reason we would say it really doesn't work. Listing this as a luxury property is definitely misleading. It appears the owners have not listened to the previous reviews as the same deficits still exist. The bed in the master is an old queen mattress on a king bed frame. The bed is hard and sags and the over size frame makes it difficult to get in and out of as you always have to remember to gauge for the size difference when getting in or out. Pillows are not comfortable, linens are cheap and definitely not luxurious. The mattress cover is extremely stained which we would not have known about but as were were asked to strip the beds ( even though we paid an $85 cleaning fee) before we left we saw the condition of the linens. Yikes , awful. The broom is so old that it is not useable as it's permanently bent over, tea kettle is gross. WORST of all the dishwasher is so loud it cannot be used while anyone is sleeping in either room OR when anyone is in the house. It's really like a train coming down the tracks and you have to yell over it! We could not use it. There are no ceiling fans and when the sun comes out this place is HOT with no air circulation. They do supply a dinky floor fan .....really? The second bedroom is an office with a bed in it, no counters , closet or table, advertised as an accommodation that sleeps four, but really not private enough for two couples as there is only a half bath on the other side of the apartment for the second bedroom. It would be ok for a couple of kids. All in all it seems like what is in the apartment are a mix mash of things just barely good enough for a students use in college and the other items seem to be left over from other tenant's occupancy. We only had 1& 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for our 5 night stay. There is a only a small bistro table and having a meal on it is neither comfortable or roomy enough especially if you were an older person. The amenities make this property just a good choice verses the truly excellent choice it could be with very little effort made ! Beware of really loud seagulls early in the AM !"
