  • Four Oaks Derby - a delightful family home for a holiday in Suburban Victoria.

"Our party of eight including two children and two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our week at Four Oaks Derby. The layout and ambiance of the house are delightful. We also enjoyed the quality of the interior design, furniture etc. The location with the trail for the walkers, runners and dog walkers was really good, as was the Golf course. A few negative points did not spoil things in any way but are worth mentioning. The main floor shower was very slow to drain.I actually felt that the property needed a shower / bathroom on the top floor. There was too much personal " clutter" around. This was particularly problematic in the kitchen where we would have been more comfortable to have designated cupboards for our use. It was a bit embarrassing to be moving the owners possessions around to make space.Lastly we were worried about the bookcase in the back bedroom which was not stable."

  • Bird's Eye View of Incredible Inner Harbour Victoria British Columbia Canada

"We thoroughly enjoyed our fun filled November week at the Astoria in downtown Victoria BC. We were greeted at the front entry by the condo manager Nancy and given a tour of the condo and facilities including, much to our surprise, parking right across from the elevator making the transport of our belongings and groceries so much simpler. Nancy was willing to answer all questions and quick to respond to our concerns during the week we were there. The condo contents were brand new and very well equipped. We were close to all the downtown inner harbor tourist spots. Restaurants are accessible and shopping is nearby. It is a quick walk to the fabulous Beacon Hill Park, Dallas Road and Fisherman's Wharf. I was advised by Nancy that facilities are being installed in the parking spot so that when we make a return visit, we will have a place to lock up our bicycles. The internet is fast and the television included no shortage of selection for viewing. Also Netflix was installed. The beds were comfortable and the spinning chairs in the living room over looked a fantastic view of the Royal BC Museum and Inner Harbour. It must be seen at night to appreciate the beauty."

  • Perfect location

"My husband and I spent the Christmas holidays in Victoria and the Carriage House provided us with the perfect accommodations in a lovely area of James Bay. We did not need to rent a car since we were in short walking distances to downtown, the shoreline, shops and restaurants. The Carriage House itself was the ideal size for two people with everything we needed for a comfortable stay ( very comfortable bed, cosy fireplace etc...). If we needed help or had questions, the owners were close by and ready to assist. We will highly recommend this spot to friends and family. Thank you Maeva and Dave ."

  • Fabulous Apartment with Stunning Views

"We have rented dozens of properties over the years. The Panorama Suite is amongst the best for many reasons. It would be great for two couples sharing. The apartment is exceptionally clean and very well fitted out with everything you could imagine needing. It had a fully equipped kitchen and I'm sure there's a tool or gadget for every occasion. The downtown location puts everything in easy walking distance. There's even a good wine shop almost around the corner. The view is stunning over the sound and to the snow capped mountains. It's fun to ease over a leisurely sunny morning breakfast on the balcony while watching the seaplanes come and go from the harbour. The hosts, Melissa and Rod, were efficient and very helpful. I would recommend them and this apartment to anyone visiting the area."
