  • Excellent historic home!

"My wife and I spent May in Victoria staying at this lovely property. We are planning to come back next year for a longer stay. The house is well maintained, clean, and easy to settle into. We could walk into town, into the park across the street, and to the Cook street village a couple of blocks away. We found we could walk to get pretty well everything, including groceries, yoga classes, and the local pub. We couldn't recommend this property more highly. Nancy made setting up the booking very easy and took care of all the details for us. For a first VRBO experience, it was fantastic."

  • Perfect loft in perfect part of town

"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our 3-year-old daughter for our 10-year anniversary. The loft has been beautifully built out and stylishly decorated, the art on the walls is awesome, and it felt more like a home away from home for us than any other vacation rental we've ever been in. Loved the spacious patio with a view into the brick internals of the whole block, and the king sized bed was very comfortable. I am super sensitive to temperature and we were there on hot sunny days; the apartment was the perfect temperature and there was both a tower and a ceiling fan for temp tweaks. Our daughter loved sleeping on the leather couch hide-a-bed. Great kitchen. Big flatscreen TV tucked away if you don't want it, but visible from every point in the apartment if the Olympics are on (including the patio, the bedroom, the kitchen and the bathroom). Everything we wanted to see/eat/buy (killer coffee, indie boutiques, organic juice, farm to table food) was literally a 30 second walk from the door, and all the touristy stuff is just a 5-10 minute walk away. Only complaint was that we could only locate a single washcloth, and would have liked a couple more. Highly recommend!"

  • Really are best views

"We stayed for the month of May 2016 (and the month of April 2015) and loved this condo. It is in an excellent location and the views really are spectacular. We walked most places including Fishermans Wharf and Beacon Hill Park. The concierge team of Lawrence and Dani were great too. From helping us with bringing our bags from the (safe) underground parking to recommending places to see and eat! We'll be back!"

  • Wonderfully quiet cottage close to the sea

"What a WONDERFUL week long vacation in Caddy's Carriage house. We stayed here with our 7 year old son, and he loved the loft and the "cozy cabin" as he put it. It is within walking distance to a local grocery and drug store, a coffee shop, a few restaurants, trinket/clothing shops, and a board rental shop. We were able to rent a few boards and do some paddle boarding in Cadboro Bay. What a delightful experience! The cottage was cute and quaint and we felt right at home. The amenities including laundry on site, toaster oven, and a small stove were also very helpful. There is also a BBQ grill out back that we used to grill some salmon we caught on one of our days out fishing. What a great experience to be able to go "home" after a busy day sight seeing and relax either in the cottage or a be a few minutes away from the sandy beaches of Cadboro Bay. Thanks to Kathleen and John for a little piece of heaven and such great hospitality."
