The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group weekend. The kitchen was stocked with supplies needed for us to cook and the living room/couch was so comfortable. The beds were very cozy and bathrooms spacious. The owner of the property is incredibly friendly, stopped over to say hi and welcome us. We felt very safe. Lots of hiking nearby. Will absolutely be planning to come back.
This was the perfect setting for my best friend’s bachelor party, it was quiet and peaceful, the property was groomed and welcoming with Bill offering us all the majesty his land had to offer. The look out is the crown jewel but it’s the perfect place to get away even if you just need a porch to sit on and birds to keep you company. I will be bringing my family to take it in as soon as possible!!
This was our second stay and I will be back again. Total seclusion and privacy plus a fantastic location for hiking and enjoying the beautiful scenery in the area make this the perfect get-away location. Not one complaint!
The cabin and property were wonderful! We enjoyed walking the trail to the overlook. Made it just in time for sunset! Bill was so gracious to give us a tour of the whole property and share his story and vision for the land. We greatly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it! Bill is an excellent host!
Such a pleasant surprise! It was so welcoming and everything was thought of for you in advance. I wish we could have stayed longer and look forward to another visit in the future!
Beautiful, quiet setting. The property is easy to locate. Great kitchen with everything you need for family meals. Hiking on site. We walked up to the lookout twice a day. State Park is close for walks around the lake and dinner at the Lodge. The host is very cordial and willing to give you a tour of the property. A five star experience.
Clean, cozy and quiet, the owners were great too! Thank you for letting us stay there!

Host has thought of everything in this perfect retreat in the woods. My sister and I loved curling up under one of the big cozy blankets and enjoying coffee on the porch. After coffee it was a morning hike to the breathtaking overlook. The house is perfectly comfortable and every detail is thought of by this gracious host.
We loved the cabin and the area. The area was very picturesque and we enjoyed walking around the property. The owners were very hospitable.
