Drop your bags at the front door and walk out the back doors and enjoy the lake. This newer home has 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms and enough sleeping arrangements for up to 6 adults or 4 Adults and 3 children (under the age of 10) to spread out comfortably throughout an impressive 1,700 square feet of living space, making it an ideal accommodation choice for a family or close friends looking for the ultimate lake experience. Our cottage sits on 85 feet of PRIVATE WATERFRONT, 20 feet from Crystal Lake. A dock with stairs to the water. No roads to cross as you enjoy the lake from a landscaped and PRIVACY fenced backyard. Offered as a year-round short -term vacation rental. You will feel right at home the moment you step inside the cottage’s beautiful interior, boasting tasteful furnishings, new leather furniture, cozy wood touches and stone gas fireplace. The large windows on the first floor make for expansive views of Crystal Lake, creating a dazzling backdrop for your stay. Crystal Haven is one of the few cottages on Crystal Lake with central heating & air conditioning for those cold winter nights and hot summer days.

Our cottage has everything you will need for a comfortable stay, including wireless internet access, central heating & air conditioning. Two (2) flat screen TVs with local cable and a Blu-ray DVD player, and a large selection of movies will be sure to appease all your entertainment needs during your vacation.

Unwind on the spacious deck overlooking the magnificent blue-green waters that only Crystal Lake can provide. Spend your days boating, fishing, kayaking, sailing, or swimming and the evenings relaxing on the deck watching the sun set or by a fire in the firepit. Outdoor amenities include: A gas grill, a firepit with 6 Adirondack chairs, 2 adult kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a giant floating pad and a variety lawn games. Paddles and life jackets are also available.

The cottage is centrally located on the north/northwest side of Crystal Lake and faces almost due south. When it is hot out, the prevailing winds are generally present to help keep you cool.

This is the place to enjoy Pure Michigan. The cottage is less than a mile to the start of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. You can spend your entire week seeking out new and isolated beaches, bike and hiking trails, lakes, and dunes, all along the way to the popular dune climb attraction which is about a 20-minute drive from our property. The quaint beach towns of Frankfort and Beulah are each about a 10-minute drive from our property. With a variety of shops and places to eat. The Crystal Mountain Ski Resort and Spa is 20 minutes away from our property. Bring you golf clubs and enjoy a round or two at one of courses that is nearby. You will not run out of sites to see, activities, or things to do when visiting Crystal Lake and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

The DETAILS of the cottage:
FIRST FLOOR boasts an open floor plan and takes advantage of the gorgeous lake views from Two (2) six-foot sliding doors that lead out to a 10 x 20-foot back deck just a few feet from water’s edge. The Living Room area has new leather furniture, a gas stone front fireplace, large screen TV and ample seating. The Dining area has a table that seats 6 – 8 comfortably. Granite countertops and stainless appliances in the fully equipped Kitchen with an island and additional seating. The Laundry Room has full size, front loading washer and dryer. A half bath with access to the one car garage where you'll find Kayaks, SUP's and games for outdoors fun.

The SECOND FLOOR boasts three (3) bedrooms and two (2) Full Baths. • Bedroom #1 - Queen Bed, incredible lake views, en-suite bath with shower and double vanity. Large walk-in closet has a lake view as well.
• Bedroom #2 - Queen bed and 10-foot dormer with windows and seating to take advantage views of the lake.
• Bedroom #3 with a Twin/Full bunk bed combination.
• A 2nd full bath with a tub/shower combination and easy access to the 2 guest bedrooms.

OUTSIDE: A private dock, firepit with Adirondack chairs, outdoor dining table and lounge chairs are just a few steps away from the water’s edge.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic we have instructed our cleaning personnel to implement cleaning and disinfecting protocols based on CDC / WHO guidelines.
• Contactless check-in and check-out.
• Bed Linens and Towels are provided. Linens are washed at the highest temperature and dried completely.

Our cottage is an excellent choice for your Winter getaway. It is close to skiing at Crystal Mountain, great for ice fishing and all outdoor activities.

Additional things to know:
Because of severe animal allergies of family members, we do NOT allow any animals on our property.

We provide WiFi and basic Cable TV. We have 2 smart TV's so you can access your own TV viewing apps.

The outside of our home has three security features - A ring doorbell and ring security light & cameras in the backyard.

There is space for a boat or jet ski trailer directly across the street from our cottage.

Two Jet Ski shore stations are available for an additional rental fee. We have a private dock for your swimming use. DO NOT tie any watercraft to the dock. The dock is not designed to support the weight and pressure of any watercraft. Two Jet Ski shore stations are available for an additional rental fee. By using our mooring, you are agreeing to inspect, determine the suitability for watercraft being moored, and take all risk/ responsibility / liability related to the use of the mooring. You are solely responsible for all loss and/or damage to watercraft and structures. Severe storms and winds happen unexpectedly on Crystal Lake and watercraft should not be left on the mooring overnight. Our dock is for loading and unloading passengers only.
