Duke's Place: New Massanutten mountain home with game room!

Welcome to Duke's Place: a new, custom-built home, located in Massanutten Resort! The home sits on a quiet dead-end street, close to all of the activities, and includes all of the features that make it feel like home. The home has a master bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom on the main level. The 2nd floor has a queen bedroom in Bedroom 2, and 3 twin-sized beds in Bedroom 3. Traveling with family or friends? Check out Sam's Place- which is a 3-bedroom home next door!

Home is dog friendly! We provide dog bowls, treats, and a spot to hang a leash.

The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve home-cooked meals. We also provide a Keurig, and a French Press for coffee. All linens for bedding, towels, and washcloths are included with your stay. We also provide dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, toilet paper and paper towels.

Arcade in the basement features a ping pong table, arcade basketball, foosball, and jumbo connect 4.

A laundry room with washer and dryer are available for guest use.

No smoking in the house.

MASSANUTTEN RESORT

The home is located inside the gated community of Massanutten Resort. The Resort offers skiing, two golf courses, water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-carts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more are only a couple miles from the house. The resort maintains 30 miles of hiking trails. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Resort Activities are available to our guests for an additional fee (must be purchased through the Resort).

SURROUNDING AREA

Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. There are many fantastic restaurant, museums and shops that are fun to explore in downtown. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Tubing and kayaking are fun to enjoy during the summer. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking trails. Wineries and breweries are a short drive from the home.

Beautiful place!

This is the nicest place we have stayed. Place was very clean. Bed was comfortable and basement with games added to fun. Deck overlooking woods was beautiful!

Great little get away

We took our family up to enjoy the indoor water park and snow tubing. We couldn’t have asked for anything better with this property. It is in near perfect condition and was perfect for our family. We can’t wait to visit again!

Great communication and response time. Very clean house. Had everything we needed. Lots of games to keep the kids busy downstairs and fun for the adults after the kids were in bed. We loved playing darts with my Mother in law.

Amazing mountain house

This was a great mountain, tucked away in a quiet wooded neighborhood in the mountain. House was imaculent, with plenty of really nice kitchen items, a Keurig machine, and lots of games. Loved this house!

Far exceeded expectations!

Our stay had everything we needed and more! The owner was incredibly helpful and quick to respond for any and every need/question we had ! The basement was equipped with so many things to occupy our teenage boys when they weren’t on the slopes. The cleanliness was impeccable (and I’m a stickler!) it was truly just an overall lovely experience and we can’t wait to come back !

Wonderful!

The property was exactly as listed. It was super clean and all amenities you would need was available. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the arcade games and basement games. Beds were very comfortable and I finally got a good nights rest after traveling. No one wanted to leave! We will definitely be booking this property again! Thank you!

Hosts were fantastic, game room was fun for the kids, the back patio was the perfect place to sit for a drink and relax, the driveway was FLAT (not typical) and it was easy to get to everything massanutten and Harrisonburg. Would visit again for sure.

Summer getaway

We all loved this property! We were able to stay two nights on our way to Philadelphia for a family vacation and this was the perfect spot to rest up and explore the area. It is beautiful and the property is perfect for families. We will use it again when we travel through.
