This slightly elevated first floor oceanfront villa is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath retreat with a unique private walkout deck that leads directly to the beach, pool, baby pool, and common grilling area. The beautiful villa provides a stunning ocean view from the living room, which features a 65" flat screen TV, free WiFi, and a sleep sofa. The dining table comfortably seats 6, and there are 2 breakfast bar stools. The kitchen is fully furnished for your convenience, and there is also a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The villa's interior features an oceanfront master suite with a king bed, 43" flat screen TV, and en suite bath with a walk-in glass shower. The guest bedroom offers 2 double beds and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. Beach Towels & Beach Chairs are included in every Hilton Head Rentals professionally managed property.

Located within the Palmetto Dunes Resort, the Captain Walk Villas are among the most popular of the oceanfront properties. The resort offers three championship golf courses, miles of bike paths, tennis, pickle ball, the General Store, and an 11-mile lagoon system that you can explore by rented kayak or canoe. The oceanfront Dunes House is a must-visit spot where you can enjoy a cocktail or a leisurely lunch while watching the waves. The beach is easily accessible via the beach walk that takes you from the pool to the beach. Guests of the villa can comfortably sleep 8, and the villa is non-smoking. The owner of this villa has provided 4 beach chairs for guests to use during their stay.

Guests of Palmetto Dunes can take the free Dunes Buggy that runs between the resort and the Shelter Cove Marina. At the marina, visitors can enjoy strolling along the harbor and taking in the gorgeous water views and yachts. Charters are also available, including dolphin cruises, fishing trips, and marsh exploration. The marina is home to a variety of restaurants, specialty shops, and free live entertainment during the summer months. Additionally, there is a free fireworks display every Tuesday from mid-June through mid-August.

The on-site oceanfront pool measures 22' x 50' and is 3' to 5' in depth. It is heated in March, April, October and November. Pool heat dates are subject to change without notice and may vary depending on weather. The pool area also offers a kiddie pool.

This condo was just as described. Great location. Easy walk to beach. Beautiful landscaping with wild animals outside your door. Perfect getaway for the whole family.

June 2021 Anniversary Trip

This was my 5th trip to Hilton Head and by far the best property we've stayed in. Fully updated, close to the ocean, and the view from the patio/deck is unmatched; all you can see is the dunes and the ocean. We'll be looking to stay here next time we come back!

Rustic Heaven

This place is amazing. Very nice cabin on the top of the mountain with amazing views. Watching the sunrise was mesmerizing. And the outside copper hot tub was the cherry on top. Will definitely be coming back.

First floor made access to the beach perfect. Chairs and boogie boards didn’t have to be dragged through the complex. The area right outside our back door was perfect for picture taking. The place was clean. First VRBO experience and it was awesome

Outstanding Getwaway

We highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone seeking a private escape to a rustic, but well equipped cabin with breathtaking views. Our expectations were exceeded in all areas, and we will forever cherish the two days we spent there. The cabin is an amazing work of art and knowing the beams were present at Gettysburg made it all the more special to me, as I am a PA resident and study Civil War history. Thanks for allowing us to share your treasure.

Spectacular Oasis

This was the perfect elixir during an otherwise stressful time. We needed to get away and the cabin did not disappoint. The setting is spectacular - the outdoor copper bathtub creates a feeling of peace and serenity like no other. The view from the tub and the rest of the deck spans for miles across the blue ridge mountains, offering awesome sunsets and a couple of terrific lightning storms. The cabin is comfortable and well outfitted, close to shopping, restaurants and many hiking trails. We'll be back!

Great Location, not the cleanest unit

There was a smell of urine in the unit as well as not much space to store items for the week in the kitchen. The spare closet was also filled messily with beach items and no space for clothes. The unit was in a great location the beach and pool. It was great to be able to walkout too. Just wish the linens and things felt cleaner.

Incredible

This is our third time visiting Sapphire Heaven. Every visit we are blown away with how serene the cabin and its surroundings are. We've grilled out, cooked inside and visited local restaurants during our visits. We have never needed something while staying at this cabin. The outdoor shower and tub are perfect accessories to the wonderful landscape and a great way to unwind. Since our last visit the owner added a fire pit area but unfortunately it was too windy for us to use. This property is truly a treasure and a bargain for the experience you'll receive! Thank you John for sharing it with us, we always look forward to returning.

Magical, romantic, and private.

The best word to describe this property is “magical”! The pictures don’t do it justice—the serenity, the view, and the privacy are next level amazing. Everything about this place screams “romance”—it is an amazing escape. We were able to hike around the trails on and off the property and in the community and met NO ONE. It was absolutely perfect for these difficult times. We felt so very safe! The hike to the waterfall was more of an obstacle course than a trail hike, which we absolutely loved! Our two medium sized dogs were able to accompany us to the waterfall, only needing a little assistance. If they were old, tiny, or arthritic, we would probably not have been able to bring them along. However, it was absolutely BREATH TAKING—completely worth the exertion to see! 10/10–look no further for your romantic escape to serenity!

Absolutely beautiful piece of paradise

There truly aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this place is. The beautiful cabin and it’s private gorgeous setting is breathtaking. The craftsmanship in each detail and the thoughtfulness displayed throughout the cabin inside and out are truly a work of art. The rustic atmosphere was so peaceful. The owners were very kind and easy to communicate with. All instructions for accessing the cabin, property and various (countless) features were thoroughly explained and easy to follow. The property was so private and secluded it was very easy to get swept up in relaxing and escaping. The private waterfall below the cabin is fun to get to and so peaceful. The views from the outside tub/shower, back and side porch, master bedroom, living room, overlook and fire pit are beautiful and we couldn’t get enough. The metal roof during the rain storms sounded like relaxation music. There was so much to experience at just the cabin you never have to leave, but there are some great things to see and do close by also (several waterfall hikes, restaurants, stores, etc). Everything was honestly more than we could have dreamed and we loved every second. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible place and we look forward to future visits!

Beach Vacation

We really enjoyed the condo and the location. The decor in the condo was beautiful , beachy and cozy. However, during arrival at Palmetto Dunes, the welcome email you sent to me did not indicate stopping at the security office to obtain our gate pass. Additionally, we were disappointed that the TV service did not include live TV such as Dish, Direct-tv or cable. We only had access to HULU and no regular live network television. It would have been nice of you to inform us of the TV service in your welcome email. I called Hilton Head Rentals on Monday (7/12) and your office was closed. I send an email about the TV issue through VRBO and did not receive any response during our stay. I called the office again on Tues (7/13) and got no answer. I would recommend that you inform future guests of the limited TV service and to pick up their pass at the security office prior to entering the gate to Captain's Walk Condos.

The property is in a beautiful location, so close to the beach and community pool. We were able to walk out our balcony and down to the path leading to the beach and be set up within a couple minutes. Just lovely! The unit could use a little bit of maintenance and the primary bathroom could use an upgrade. Not the end of the world, but if the condo appearance is more important than the awesome location then maybe this property isn’t for you.
