This slightly elevated first floor oceanfront villa is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath retreat with a unique private walkout deck that leads directly to the beach, pool, baby pool, and common grilling area. The beautiful villa provides a stunning ocean view from the living room, which features a 65" flat screen TV, free WiFi, and a sleep sofa. The dining table comfortably seats 6, and there are 2 breakfast bar stools. The kitchen is fully furnished for your convenience, and there is also a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The villa's interior features an oceanfront master suite with a king bed, 43" flat screen TV, and en suite bath with a walk-in glass shower. The guest bedroom offers 2 double beds and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. Beach Towels & Beach Chairs are included in every Hilton Head Rentals professionally managed property.

Located within the Palmetto Dunes Resort, the Captain Walk Villas are among the most popular of the oceanfront properties. The resort offers three championship golf courses, miles of bike paths, tennis, pickle ball, the General Store, and an 11-mile lagoon system that you can explore by rented kayak or canoe. The oceanfront Dunes House is a must-visit spot where you can enjoy a cocktail or a leisurely lunch while watching the waves. The beach is easily accessible via the beach walk that takes you from the pool to the beach. Guests of the villa can comfortably sleep 8, and the villa is non-smoking. The owner of this villa has provided 4 beach chairs for guests to use during their stay.

Guests of Palmetto Dunes can take the free Dunes Buggy that runs between the resort and the Shelter Cove Marina. At the marina, visitors can enjoy strolling along the harbor and taking in the gorgeous water views and yachts. Charters are also available, including dolphin cruises, fishing trips, and marsh exploration. The marina is home to a variety of restaurants, specialty shops, and free live entertainment during the summer months. Additionally, there is a free fireworks display every Tuesday from mid-June through mid-August.

The on-site oceanfront pool measures 22' x 50' and is 3' to 5' in depth. It is heated in March, April, October and November. Pool heat dates are subject to change without notice and may vary depending on weather. The pool area also offers a kiddie pool.

Great Vacation Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time that we stayed at this property. It is very close to the beach and the property is clean and close to many of our favorite restaurants. The pluses included having beach towels provided, plenty of dishes and it is on the lower level so no need to use an elevator. Things that could be improved upon would be to add a recliner chair aa part of the furniture, add beach chairs that you can fully lay down on and not just sit on, include coffee filters as part of the supplies provided, and update the balcony furniture as it is beginning to show signs of rust.

We LOVED our stay at Captain's Walk. The first floor walk out to the beach/pool could not have been more convenient for us. We had two little kids who needed frequent breaks back at the condo, so proximity was important! The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels/extra bedding, and complimentary beach towels/umbrellas/sand toys! We would absolutely return. Highly recommend!!

The property is very nice. Great location and beach access right out the backdoor. Un fortunately the property management company Hilton Head Rentals was absolutely horrible. After driving 8 hours and finally reaching the condo we were denied access at the gate since they hadn't taken care of getting a pass for us. Things didn't really improve from there as no one ever picks up the phone when you try and call them. You get an automated text message saying that they will call you right back but they never do. Again, the property is great but hoping that they will change property management companies.

Wonderful Retreat to get away from it all

Property is private and rustic and the location and view is simply beautiful. The owner has done a great job of providing a unique home while still providing all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

Nice location and great space

Great location walk out to the beach close to all other shopping and restaurants. Wonderful view of the ocean. Check in was easy and no issues with anything on the property. Place was clean but carpet could be updated or taken out.
