Hello! This is a special family-owned estate, willed to us by our parents. There is plenty of wide-open space, high loft ceilings with Cieling fans, a brand new kitchen, weatherproof floors and "Kids Playground" Loft.
The most enhanced virtue of this home is its privacy and quiet.
At night, the sky lights up with the Milky Way and our solar system. Great for star-gazers!

Enjoyable getaway

Quiet roomy spot for a family to be together but also space enough to spread out. Enjoyed the modernized kitchen area. Able to get away from it all but drivable to tourist attractions.

Nice comfortable stay, great location!

This house is great! It’s very large, can sleep approx 14 adults! It’s not modern, but has a cozy/homey feel. It was fun to take walk down memory lane with a family we’ve never met, as there are LOTS of pictures of their years gone by, which gives it a welcoming feeling. The pool table was GREAT for the teens after a day of skiing and we definitely made use of the fireplace in the kitchen/den area. There is no tv, which we didn’t mind at all, but it’s something to know if you’re thinking of renting a house for something like Super Bowl weekend. Sheets and towels are provided, but guests make up their own beds upon arrival—probably because there are so many beds to choose from. There are 3 showers, 2 of them are in the same bathroom. The 2-shower bathroom is very dimly lit, so if u need to get ready in a bright space, (due to poor vision or for makeup application, etc…), make sure to do it during the day or bring an extra little desk lamp along. Great location, it was only a 10 minute drive to Gore Mountain and about 30 minutes to Lake George! We didn’t have many questions, but when we did, the homeowner was very quick to respond and very nice to deal with. We definitely enjoyed our experience and stay at this house!

Snow much fun

We had a fantastic time at Bear North it was a great place to relax and visit with a group of friends. The house was so cool especially all the nooks and crannies!

Great house and location

We had a great long weekend here with a big group of 4 families! We loved the updated kitchen, the two living areas both with wood-burning stoves, the great kids loft, huge master bedroom, and close proximity to Gore mountain. The owner was very nice, communicative and flexible!
