Newly built within the past few years, our loft-style home is a two-story architectural gem. An open, very light & spacious floor plan, carefully appointed furnishings, artwork, amenities and great location provide the perfect surroundings for both the pleasure and business traveler. Decorated with a Zen sensibility, the Loft House has two bedrooms (one is loft-style), a Jacuzzi tub, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor view deck, private enclosed garage with remote control, wireless Internet, premium movie channels, plus many more amenities.
Located within walking distance to the sandy beaches in the heart of Santa Monica, we are also within 1 mile of world class shopping and the hottest bars & restaurants.
Private, Enclosed Garage with Remote Control: You will have exclusive use of an enclosed and private two car garage that is opened with a remote control.
Inside the garage is a stackable, frontloading, brand new Washer & Dryer.
You will also find two beach bags, beach chairs and beach towels here for your pleasure.
You may enter the guest house securely from the garage, or your visitors can enter from the sidewalk.

Hello fellow travelers! I love jogging, meditating and walking my dog Pfeiffer on the beautiful white sandy beach that is a quick walk from our guest house. My passion is traveling (the UK, France, Spain, Hawaii, Bali, Thailand… just to name a few!) and so I love welcoming and introducing visitors from all over the world and the US to our beautiful Loft House and Santa Monica area. Comfortable & Private
Enjoyed a girls weekend staycation getaway. Place was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked. Liquor store a block away. Some restaurants are a short walk ...about a mile to the beach and the pier just a short distance from there. The loft house is located atop a four car garage with private entrance giving it a private residence feel.
Great space! Great location!
I recently stayed here for a business trip and the loft is well maintained, very comfortable and in a nice quiet neighborhood, yet close to everything. The pictures are accurate and the host is very responsive. I plan to stay here again!
Excellently appointed property in a very pretty location close to Santa Monica pier region.
We (3 adults, one child) spent a very enjoyable 10 day stay at the Loft property. The property is excellently kitted out inside and met all our needs including washing and drying facilities in the garage. The additional benefit provided by the owner of beach equipment of chairs, beach towels, body boards for our use was very welcome. The bonus of having a dedicated garage provided the additional comfort of knowing that the rental car was safely stowed away.
The owner, Deborah was very welcoming and always on hand should you need assistance without ever interfering during our stay.
The location of the property so close to downtown Santa Monica was ideal and we felt very comfortable in walking in the area.
We would highly recommend this property and memories of sitting on the small balcony enjoying a nice cool glass of wine in the evening sunshine says it all.
Loved Santa Monica and look forward to going back! The loft house was perfect! In a quiet neighborhood and close to stores & the beach. Deborah had everything ready for us and took care of anything we needed. Had plenty of information available about things to do, closest restaurants and grocery options. I would definitely recommend!
Great location and cute place
We stayed here over spring break and had a great time. It was very central to the things we wanted to do in Santa Monica and Universal Studios. It was a great place to come back to at the end of the long day. Owner is very easy to work with and directions and instructions were very clear.
Fantastic five Days
The loft house is peaceful and beautiful and we loved our walks to Venice and Santa Monica.
Deborah is also friendly and responsive.
Our loft-style home is perfectly located and is an ideal base for living in Los Angeles. We are located in the heart of Santa Monica, in a quiet residential area walking distance to the white sandy beaches with its 22 mile walk / bike / rollerblade path. We are also a short walk to Main Street, one of the area's most popular destinations for upscale eateries and hip boutiques. We are within 1 mile of Venice & the Venice Boardwalk (famous for its cast of characters, street vendors & performers), the Santa Monica Pier (complete with a Ferris wheel, 1922 carousel, amusement park & dining), 3rd Street Promenade (movie theaters, Farmer's Markets, terrific shopping, dining & engaging street performers), and Montana Avenue (frequented by affluent Angelinos & celebrities). We are only 20 minutes from LAX, 15 minutes to Beverly HIlls, 25 minutes to either Hollywood, Malibu or Universal Studios, and Disneyland is only a short 45 minutes away.

Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age. Our home is not child-proofed,so renter must assume all responsibility for the safety of any child on or in the property. Also -- we require a fully refundable Damage Deposit; our guests have the option of either allowing their credit card to be authorized in the amount $1000; OR, if guests prefer not to supply their credit card details to the Owner, guests may buy a $99 property protection insurance policy.
