Charming Guest House, fully furnished, newly renovated, one half block from prime Santa Monica Beach. Use our bikes, surfboards, and beach games. Two outside permitted parking spaces included. Ocean views and breezes, lots of light, wood floors, and dutch fireplace. Lots of atmosphere. Private master bedroom with new queen size bed and living room with new twin sized cone daybed with a twin size trundle.A single fold out bed can be added for a fifth sleeping space. Fully equipped kitchen allows for cooking and eating in.

A very friendly spot adjacent to four star hotels, the pier, nightlife, and wonderful nature.

Great place near the beach!

Loved our stay! If you're not familiar with LA, having a guaranteed parking space is invaluable! Enjoyed riding the bikes down to Venice beach. Apt was fine and plenty of room for the two of us. Enjoyed Jessie the dog very much! Only caveat - no coffee or a bar of soap in the apt.

Great location, nice apartment

If you need more space than a hotel room, I would recommend this rental. For just my husband and I staying for a long weekend, it wasn't the best value.

There was a nice sitting room, a kitchen stocked with lots of dishes and pans, bathroom, and a bedroom (though not much floorspace to move around in the bedroom). Also, for anyone planning to stay more than a weekend, there was a generous amount of closet space to use.

We found the parking to be a little dicey (parallel parking on a hill, near the beach), but it was nice to have visitor permits included.

If you're scared of dogs, you might not like this place, since the dog barked at us every time we came into the apartment.The dog was inside the house and we were walking along the side yard, so we were never in danger, just not the most pleasant welcome possible.

There were a few other quirks: one of the sets of keys didn't work for us and we felt bad walking across the yard to the side gate (the grass got quite worn just over our long-weekend).But we didn't feel like it really disrupted our trip.

We could certainly hear the neighboring restaurant bustling around early on weekend mornings, even with the windows closed, but it wasn't too noisy for being in a city.

Noisy and Hot, but Fantastic Beach Location

Unit is well-equipped and in a fantastic location if you want to be near the beach, the Santa Monica Pier and Promenade. The weather was hot and the unit was advertised to have air conditioning available. The portable unit was ineffective, and there was no space for it in the tiny bedroom. This meant the bedroom windows had to be left open, which meant the bedroom was very noisy and we did not sleep well. The unit is directly above a commercial alley, next to a restaurant parking lot and dumpsters. I would consider staying here again due to the beach location if the weather were cool and windows could be kept closed. The owner and unit manager tried very hard to remedy the heat and other minor problems we encountered during our stay. They get an "A" for effort, and refunded our cleaning deposit as a token of their recognition of our concerns.

Great location in Santa Monica

This rental is a small one bedroom garage apartment with a private entrance. The location is roughly one block from Santa Monica Beach and is within walking distance of all Santa Monica has to offer.

The unit comes with a parking pass so you can park your car free of charge during your stay. They also provide 2 bicycles which are perfect for cruising around town or up and down the boardwalk.

The bed was comfortable, the shower worked well, and everything else in the unit worked as expected.

This is a great rental and we will stay here again the next time we visit Santa Monica.

Santa Monica Beach house

We stayed a week and loved it. The location is fantastic - so close to beach and pier and lots of restaurants. The pictures are very accurate except I think it's even cuter in person. Parking was very easy. The size worked well for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids).

Go tourist or go local. Just go. Also convenient to coastal attractions, amusement parks, outlet centers and the like by car. Best of both worlds.
