Everything was sweet, but the only thing I wish they would've provided was an access card to get into the gym and ice making machine room. Overall we had a good stay!

Love Sandy Beach Resort

I love the location of this resort. It is close to anything you need such as resturants, entertainment etc. I love the outdoor pool which is located right in front of the ocean. I like the accommodations. The condo was very roomy and comfortable. I have stayed here several times. I will be back to vacation at this resort.

The rental was clean, plenty of space for the kids and I. The kitchen had beautiful stainless steel appliances and came with enough kitchenware to cook meals. Loved the indoor pool and Jacuzzi tub in the master suite. I would definitely return.

Great place, but could use upgrade

We enjoyed the unit and the location, but needed more in the kitchen. There were no cups, pitchers, large bowls, etc. We had to buy those things on our own. Plus, the oven is so old it’s impossible to read the temperature. Etc.

Location

Condo is exactly as the description. Very clean. The location is great. You can literally park your car and walk everywhere. The crowd in that area is a bit rowdy and yelling at all hours of the night. So if you’re ok with the noise then it’s a great choice.

Family Vacation

The location and veiws were nice. Our bed linens and pillows were dirty, one of the TVs didn't work, and the toilet kept running. After being on the phone with Vacasa for maybe an hour total, maintenance came out promptly and fixed the issues. We will come back though due to an overall good experience.

Nice unit with a partial view of the beach from front side of condo building.Furniture can be updated.Definitely needs new shower curtains they are gross being BLEACH

Hotel amenities were fine, plenty of seating by the pool. Pool area was clean and tidy. Staff at reception area were not very helpful but the security guard (Belle) was superb. She provided much help for parking, where to get things, where to go. Would recommend that there be a welcome letter in room suggesting where ice is, exercise room, maybe places to eat and drink, etc. No TV “guide” to know what channels were what. Room we had needed updates to furniture, rugs and bath - but it wasn’t the worst we have been at.

Nice BUT

The room was nice but wasn’t cleaned properly. It needed vacuuming & dusting. There were black spots in carpet. I’m not even sure if they wiped the tables or counters. The black spots in the carpet is what really left a bad taste. I got a text that I could check in early because the room was ready but they could’ve spent more time cleaning.

Disgusting!

Overall this place was the most disgusting place I had ever been. If there was a unit with bed bugs and roaches it was going to look like this place. And yes they had roaches too. The carpet was mostly covered in what looked like mold and black stains. The furniture were so cheap, dirty, and outdated. The paint on the bathroom walls were peeling, it smelled like mold, towel rack was rusty, bathtub drain was clogged so the water didn’t go down, blow dryer was broken and the microwave didn’t work and dryer wasn’t working properly. In the bedroom, the sliding doors didn’t lock, the headboards were stained and all the curtains were broken so it didn’t open and close properly. The parking lot across the street always had suspicious people walking around or you had people begging for money in the lobby. I requested to change rooms or a reimbursement of some kind the moment I walked in and I haven’t heard a thing and it’s been a week now. Very disappointed. I haven’t even unpacked yet. I’m afraid of bed bugs or infestation in my belongings.

Please know that the home was thoroughly inspected and no pests were found. The carpet has been professionally cleaned since your stay. We have also suggested that the owner replace some of the furniture. The bathrooms have been deep cleaned and the drains cleared since your stay. We will check the blow dryer and replace it if needed. There is a countertop microwave that has no issues. The dryer vent has been cleared, and the dryer is working as needed. No issues were found with the sliding door lock. The headboards are wood and have been cleaned appropriately. The curtains have been repaired. We appreciate your feedback on the people in the parking lot across the street and the lobby. While this is not something that we can address directly, we will notify the HOA/Property Manager of the resort. We appreciate you sharing your insights. Please know that we are committed to making the necessary improvements for our guests to enjoy their stay. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future.

Upkeep and cleanliness issue(s)

Overall the property (404) was as described and in a nice location. There was substantial damage to furniture and decor. A framed glass picture along the walk way was broken and the sharp glass is a safety hazard. The locking mechanism to a balcony was broken and not usable. A kitchen cabinet door is only attached by the upper hinge. Cleanliness of the property leaves much to be desired. There is a large accumulation of dust on the ceiling from multiple air vents. The air filter vent to the HVAC is beyond needing cleaned. The kitchen sink cabinet bottom had signs of a repair that left a drying pool of brown liquid. The restroom is unclean in the corners, the tub had multiple hairs inside and out. There was makeup smeared on the bathroom door frame. The comforter in the main bedroom had a dried flaky substance on it. We had to wash the bedding prior to use. I have tried working through this with the management company; both during our stay and after to no avail. They did contact me over a week after I checked out and asked if I would like to move rooms. This is not an all encompassing list just the main concerns. For the cost of the rental and cleaning fees associated with a stay I expected much more in the way of cleanliness and upkeep. I am hopeful that the property managers or owners will make this right.
