We absolutely loved the house & property for our Clemson family weekend! The house was so well stocked & had everything we needed. There was plenty of great space for us to all enjoy time together & we had an overall wonderful experience We will definitely look to come back there again.

Had a wonderful stay with extended family of 10 people. Plenty of room for everyone! Beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need. Rented the pontoon boat and really enjoyed being out on the water!We stayed here while visiting Clemson - drive was about 25 minutes to campus. Great location and house! Would highly recommend!

This beautiful spacious home was perfect for our family to meet up for a family wedding. It was comfortable , clean , well stocked, and had plenty of bed space. The communication with the owners was excellent. We had some issues with the boat that were no fault of the owners ( turkey vultures made a mess and did some damage) and they worked with us well. Highly recommend this home!

We love everything about this property from location to communication to layout, etc. It is well stocked with everything you need. We actually talked about how much we love this property as it is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The comment one made, which was perfect, was how it doesn't feel like a "rental", it feels like a home. We love it!

This is our second year staying at this location. This is where we go for our yearly family reunion, and plenty of room for 6 adults and four kids. The lake was a little low this year due to a lack of rain, but everyone had a great time. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, a flat top, a smoker, and a BBQ grill. Plan on going again next year.

This property is stunning and very well kept. It is right on the lake and a short drive to Clemson University. You'll come in the back way and avoid a ton of traffic. The beds are extremely comfortable and there is plenty of sitting and eating room. It's a great place for a family vacation.

Lake Hartwell

Amazing location and super nice house very clean with plenty of nice outside eating area. Beautiful yard leading to dock with amazing views. Highly recommend renting the pontoon boat as we did for touring the lake. Was an amazing vacation.

Great Long Weekend

Clean house on nice property by the lake. Dock was great for coffee in the mornings and the house was clean and well stocked. Overall a nice place to visit and would love to be able to come back!

Amazing Family Vacation

We had such a good time. The house was comfortable and well stocked for our entire family. We loved just floating in the lake or sitting on the dock together. The neighborhood and lake area are quiet and safe for kids. We will be back next summer!

Although it was chilly weather, we enjoyed the edge of the water and the kayak. The indoor had plenty of room for family fun and games. The outdoor cooking helped to enhance our great cook's ability to provide delicious food. The only minor issue was that most of the interior doors didn't lock even when the knob was in the locked position. However, the house had a super toolbox, which allowed our handyman to fix the doors so the locks were useful.

Get the boat!

Fantastic lake retreat with lots of room and a pontoon boat for a small additional cost. Beautiful and well taken care of property. Owners are super nice and responsive.

Great stay near Clemson

This house was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and as described in VRBO. Rick and Johanna were very responsive and accommodating. It is a 25 minute drive to campus, but I would highly recommend if visiting Clemson with a big group.
