The house is just as advertised. Great not having steps inside or down to the water. Steve and Bonnie are very nice and extremely accommodating. Water level on the lake was very low and Steve made sure by way of multiple ladders that we could still access the lake and our boat. Love SML and would definitely return to this property. Mario

This is our third year staying in Moneta. We love the house, it has everything we need for a comfortable, enjoyable vacation. The Coffman's are wonderful and make the process seamless. I highly recommend this location.

Affordable with plenty of room for our family of four. Awesome views morning and night. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, although we really didn't need anything. Would stay again.

Lovely views and community

Eight of us love to travel together and spend time just relaxing! This was such a comfortable home, nothing fancy but clean and airy with spectacular views on the sides!

Coffman house-smith mountain lake

The property was excellent and the house and view of the lake were great. We found that the pier had plenty of room to dock a pontoon.

This place is awesome

This place is perfect bigger then expected the game room was a hit with our 4 kids it also very clean....I appreciate the fact there was a broom and cleaning supplies available with 4 kids vacation is the same chores different place we spent a lot of time on the lake the dock was prefect for Putting paddle boards in the water definitely would love to stay again..

Smith Mountain Lake

We loved our stay. The owners were responsive but not intrusive. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We are hoping to come back next year. Pat From New Jersey I would highly recommend.

Good Family Vacation

Great location and lake access with lots of shoreline. An older lake house but in fairly good shape. Floating dock takes a beating from boat wakes so keep that in mind when docking a boat. A few minor maintenance issues but Steve was always available to discuss. I'm sure they will be delt with and fixed. Overall, a very good experience.

The Coffman home was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, ovenware, blender, mixer, outdoor gas grille etc. TV was a little challenging due to our being technology challenged. We spent most of the time outdoors enjoying fishing and swimming from the dock area. There is much to do in the area golfing, boat tour on the lake, great places to eat, arcade, mini golf and ice cream for the grandkids. We had a great family reunion. Thank you to the Coffman's for allowing us to use their home.

Nice week!

The house is nice - it’s is older but it’s very clean and has had some updating. There were 7 of us and it never felt cramped. Parking was also good. Location is good and the views are incredible. The only disappointing thing is the dock is completely unusable for a Pontoon as it is a very small floating dock. We ended up having to take it to a marina every night which was pretty inconvenient. Owners are very responsive. If you don’t have a or a small fishing boat this is a good stay!

This is our fourth year staying at this residence. It has become our home away from home. The owner is amazing and so responsive to any and every request. My nephew left his electronic gaming device at the property and not only was it recovered but mailed back to us shortly thereafter. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a pleasant trip to beautiful SML.

We had a great time staying here. The owner was extremely helpful. The view is amazing. We highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again. The only negative was that we had to leave.

Wonderful location!
