Coffman Home at Smith Mountain - Beautiful Lakefront Home - Smith Mountain Lake

Our four-bedroom/three-bath house is located on a gently sloping acre lot, with water on three sides. The wide green lawn has lots of shade trees, and room to play or relax. There are 2 picnic tables within a few feet of beautiful Smith Mountain Lake.
This newly decorated home is spacious and sunny. The large family room has a sofa and loveseat. The sunroom has a full-size sleeper. There is large porch for relaxing and dining, and a ping-pong table in the game room.

We furnish:
Cooking utensils, plates, glassware and flatware, toaster, blender, can opener, microwave, Keurig and coffee maker. We have a spacious kitchen with full size stove and refrigerator. Pillows, blankets and bedspreads are also furnished.

Not Furnished:
Sheets, pillowcases, towels, wash and dish cloths, toilet paper, soap, paper towels, cleansers, detergents, garbage bags, etc.

Our house has central air-conditioning and several ceiling fans. Amenities include color smart TV, AM/FM stereo, a washer, dryer and dishwasher.
Smith Mountain Lake is known for fishing; and we have 175 feet of shoreline to test your skill. The covered boat dock is available for fishing, mooring your boat, or watching the sunset. A gas grill and picnic table are provided for your outdoor dining pleasure.

Affordable with plenty of room for our family of four. Awesome views morning and night. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, although we really didn't need anything. Would stay again.

This place is awesome

This place is perfect bigger then expected the game room was a hit with our 4 kids it also very clean....I appreciate the fact there was a broom and cleaning supplies available with 4 kids vacation is the same chores different place we spent a lot of time on the lake the dock was prefect for Putting paddle boards in the water definitely would love to stay again..

We loved our stay. The owners were responsive but not intrusive. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We are hoping to come back next year. Pat From New Jersey I would highly recommend.

The Coffman home was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, ovenware, blender, mixer, outdoor gas grille etc. TV was a little challenging due to our being technology challenged. We spent most of the time outdoors enjoying fishing and swimming from the dock area. There is much to do in the area golfing, boat tour on the lake, great places to eat, arcade, mini golf and ice cream for the grandkids. We had a great family reunion. Thank you to the Coffman's for allowing us to use their home.

Good Family Vacation

Great location and lake access with lots of shoreline. An older lake house but in fairly good shape. Floating dock takes a beating from boat wakes so keep that in mind when docking a boat. A few minor maintenance issues but Steve was always available to discuss. I'm sure they will be delt with and fixed. Overall, a very good experience.

Nice week!

The house is nice - it’s is older but it’s very clean and has had some updating. There were 7 of us and it never felt cramped. Parking was also good. Location is good and the views are incredible. The only disappointing thing is the dock is completely unusable for a Pontoon as it is a very small floating dock. We ended up having to take it to a marina every night which was pretty inconvenient. Owners are very responsive. If you don’t have a or a small fishing boat this is a good stay!

Wonderful place on the point

We had a wonderful stay at your home. The house is much larger than it looks! It’s actually a 4 bedroom with 3 full baths! Super clean inside when we arrived. The water can be rough by the dock especially during the weekend. The orange ball/bumper was a lifesaver for docking our boat safely. The views are spectacular and the sunsets are amazing. The owners are very responsive to questions. We are already looking at dates for a return week.

Big lot, good location for shopping and dining

Spent a week in July and brought my ski boat with the family and friends. Clean, good swimming off the dock and very close boating distance to dining , arcade , mini golf , and live music . Be sure to ask about timed play at the arcade, much more affordable. Far too much boat traffic to tie up your boat to the floating dock for very long, it’s just too rough. We just used an anchor and tied it up out in the water for the longer breaks and overnight. It’s fine for boarding and loading though. The brand new floating dock was very nice and the view down lake was great. The ice cream boat came by around 10:30 AM each day. We also went tubing at Explore park in Roanoke county and did the ropes courses and zip lines. We took our own tubes and saved some money on the shuttle. The walk was about 20 minutes
