Backed directly to the National Forest with sweeping views of Peak 10 and Quandary Peak, this private Breckenridge home offers rare direct access to hiking and biking right from the backyard. Step through the gate to access the Burro Trail or take a short walk to a nearby stream. After a day outside, relax on the patio with comfortable seating, a large shade umbrella, a private hot tub, and a fire pit—perfect for summer evenings under the stars.

Designed for families and groups, the home sleeps up to 12 guests and combines indoor comfort with exceptional outdoor living. The fenced backyard offers privacy and flexibility for kids and pets—an uncommon feature in Breckenridge—while the open living areas make it easy to gather, cook, and unwind together. This home works as a true basecamp for summer activities with quick access to trails, town, and mountain views in every direction.

Why they chose this property

Escaping the heat of Texas summers into this mountain retreat that backs to the White River National Forest was an easy decision. We like the area for all the adventure opportunities. Hiking, Sailing, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Snowshoeing, Skiing, Horseback Riding, Rock Climbing. In the summers, we hike and bike out the back. During the winters, we teach ski school part-time out of The Village and ski or snow shoe to work. It's wonderful.

What makes this property unique

We have a beautiful view of Quandry Peak, Mount Baldy and Peak 10 from the couch or hot tub. Wildlife visitors include chipmunks, birds, squirrels, moose, fox, a pine martin and baby bears.
