Love this place

It’s our second year here. Very comfortable. Recently updated. We love the space. The neighborhood feels very safe. The area has lots of things nearby and easy to explore. Host is terrific and communicates great. Quick to respond to questions.

Great Stay! Many Memories!

Our host was very responsive, even prior to reservation dates. The stay was exactly how it was it is in the pictures. It is located right next to a Wal-Mart for supplies and trash bags, and we discovered an amazing little taco area not too far from this stay! The outside area was such a nice for us all to hang out. Overall awesome experience.

Comfortable and Pleasant Property

Property is just as pictured and described. We had a minor problem with one of the toilets. The owner was very responsive and had the problem fixed the same day.

Great location and property

We spent two months here and loved the location. Walked to Walmart and Wendy’s. Mall and Publix close by. House was large and well stocked. The owner was awesome to work with. We had the air conditioning go out and she had it fixed immediately. There’s another apartment attached but the only time we heard anything was in the bathroom that shared a wall. We’re planning on coming back next year.

The home is ok, need some TLC... we received and text massage via Vrbo app from the host Maribell, access code, WIFI login, & trash info.. Once we unpack the car, ran out for dinner with family... Later we found few non- essential, however not impacting our stay, more so a cosmetic. So I send all the finding with picture to Maribell and since it was late I informed her that in the morning would be fine to review in person..However we did not hear anything until are departures... The dining table has white satins.One of the chair seats is not secure.One of the blind panel missing.Master bedroom lamp was lose and unsecure.No hand towel for bathroom and no kitchen towel...few paper products.Kitchen sink faucet not secure...Floor was dirty... my feet were black from walking bare foot...Closet light not working... Poor lighting in master bathroom(MB)Shower curtain in the MB could be a better quality, taking shower and avoiding water to spray out on the floor

Nice property, safe location near Tampa

The host has put a great deal of thought and energy into this property and amenities. The property includes everything you might need while visiting the Tampa area. We found the covered patio, furniture, and grill(s) provided a fantastic relaxation venue. The reclining sofa and chair in the living room were exceptional. The bedrooms had plenty of dresser drawers and closet space. The kitchen was equipped with more than enough dinnerware, utensils, cups/glasses/mugs, cookware and all appliances worked very well. Overall, we were very pleased with this property and it provided great comfort during our 2 week stay. Minor concerns were: this property is a "two family" dwelling - the house we stayed in is attached to (subdivided) an apartment with other guests. The walls are thin so we could hear voices and noise from the apartment. The guest bath shower has very low water pressure. The master bath toilet is unstable and needs to be secured to the tile floor. The house number needs to be installed on the outside of the house or on the mailbox - we arrived at night and we could not identify the house because there are no street lights and the house has no number. During our visit, the wireless internet service disconnected on 3 consecutive evenings. We rebooted the router several times, and electrical power was out on one morning.

Cold showers and cockroaches

I hope to have VRBO and the host make things right and then I'll update this post. In the meantime, this is what future guest may want to be aware of... House has been split into two units for rent. Interior wall between units is thin and you can hear normal conversations clearly from the other unit. If you start the washing machine at the same time as your morning shower everyone will have cold showers. The smaller bedroom bed has a terrible squeaking problem (loud with every little move). We could not sleep in it because after the first night we learned that every movement will wake you with squeaking noises, so had to abandon the bedroom and sleep on the couch for the remaining three nights. The host only provided one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, and a single backup roll for the house. Once you've used the first rolls you'll have to share between bathrooms. Cockroaches!!! On our last morning we happened to look up at the ceiling and found that cockroaches are in the house and even crawling across the ceiling! Hope they don't drop on you! I would have been really hard to sleep at night had we seen the ceiling roaches earlier in our stay. Whew! Good luck, it's a bit of an adventure!!!

Honestly this was one of the worst guests I have ever had, Scott complained about almost everything when in reality there was nothing wrong. First they complained about the toilet paper and said there was one roll for 3 people, I had to get the cleaning people to go over and show them where it was since it was too difficult for them to open a cabinet in the bathroom(the toiletpaper that I providedis soft and big rolls, I dont know why you need more than 6 rolls for 3 days for 3 people). Second was a small insect, they sent me a picture of it and complained that if there's a small one roach then there's an infestation, is too small that you can not identify what insect is, and my house ceilings are high. I have a contract and do regular pest control, I can proof at anytime . Third they complained about noise when I have never gotten a complain about noise, the people in the other place were almost never there so there was no one to make noise. They even complained about a water heater they thought was broken but wasn't, they said they had to take multiple cold showers I was going to go and see if I or my husband could fix it but there ended up beating nothing wrong with it. Towards the end I thought I'd be a thoughtful and even empathetic and refunded him some money. They then thought it was okay to black mail me. They said if I don't resolve this on my own, meaning monetarily than they would get VRBO involved and insure that it would not go well for me. I really have no words to explain how bad I feel for any hosts in the past or hosts they'll have in the future, hopefully there is none. Also I opened a case with VRBO disputing this review.

Family Getaway

The property was in a good location. At the surface of the property everything looks good. The living room, dining room and kitchen was fine.But I think manager/owner should look into the changing their cleaning service the master bathroom was nasty, the shower curtain was full of soap scum the water in the shower does not drain, the bathtub not thoroughly cleaned. So I decided to bathe in the 2nd bathroom. In 2nd bedroom linen was not clean had to re wash comforter before my daughter could sleep. I really don't like giving bad reviews but I have to be honest because they were simple fixes that should never be.

Wonderful experience

My husband and I were in Tampa for our daughter's wedding. The home was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. It was convenient to shopping as there is a Walmart around the corner. The nearby mall and shopping centers came in handy when I realized I left my husband's tie at home. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Perfect Home for Us !

This home was everything we hoped it would be. Close to the airport…close to our sons home…quiet neighborhood…and a minute from WalMart!! Very comfortable beds and furnishings. The kitchen was stocked well with cookware.

What a pleasure

The house is beautiful. Exactly as described and pictures are accurate on the website. It was a pleasure communicating with the owner prior to the vacation. She insured everything was intact. The house is located in a nice community and close to the shopping area. And I love the lemon tree outback.
