Set in the lovely Hibernation Station cabin community, Hibernation Hideaway is a modern mountain retreat in Pigeon Forge. Dark wood trim pairs perfectly with stone details and light wood interiors, giving the cabin a luxury feel. Splash in your private indoor pool, enjoy mountain views, watch movies in the theater room, gather around the outdoor firepit to chat and enjoy drinks, or shoot pool and play arcade games for some fun. The cabin also features high-speed wireless internet, an EV car charger, a flat and paved driveway, an indoor/outdoor lounge area, a washer/dryer, and an electric fireplace.

Start mornings sipping coffee while enjoying the views of the Great Smoky Mountains before preparing a delicious mountain breakfast in the cabin's fully equipped kitchen. Find appliances and dishes to enjoy in-cabin meals or easily reheat leftovers from downtown restaurants. After breakfast, relax in the living room by the fireplace or head to the theater room for a fun movie! The cabin also boasts arcade games and a pool table, perfect for both kids and adults. Family vacation

Great stay. However, the TVs only worked in the living room and half the bedrooms. The other half of the bedrooms and the media room didn’t work.

Great family getaway!

Had a few issues but all were handled promptly. Had to fill the pool because it was so low and the noise would echo through the wall into the bedroom all night. For the cleaning fees that are charged, I was surprised about the cleanliness, but nothing that couldnt be dealt with.

It's big and pretty but the air conditioning on the 3 floor doesn't work the refrigerators don't work either and we lost a lot of food many cockroaches

We know it must have been incredibly disappointing and alarming to check into your cabin and encounter pests, HVAC issues, and one of the refrigerators not working. Though we have our properties treated monthly for all pests, we understand the problem persisted, and we're so sorry for the inconvenience. This is not how we wanted you to spend time with your family, and while we wish we were made aware of these matters during your stay, we appreciate you bringing them to our attention so that we can have them addressed promptly. Disappointed

Disappointed with the breakdown since last stay. Hot tub worked only one night, broken bar stools on patio, one dishwasher broke was a hassle with 32 people eating 3 meals a day, the garage door being broke was the big bummer as we utilized the indoor/outdoor feature a lot last time. The breaker kept kicking in the kitchen so only 1 of 3 microwaves worked at a time.

Embarrassed!!!

It was a nice looking cabin if there wasn't so many issues roaches being the biggest one. Couldn't use one of the dishwashers, Two televisions didn't work, broken lock on bathroom door in bedroom 1, dirty kitchen chairs, ice machine in the bar area was also broken. Will be writing a review and contacting higher ups.

Great House and Customer Service

The house was great but needed some items fixed. The kitchen sink was messed up when we got there and two of the three microwaves didn't work. Two bathrooms had drainage problems. The floors were pretty dirty and our socks were bad. The sink problem was fixed with a phone call. There was not enough big items to cook with in the kitchen so it could use a few things. We had a great time and we are using the rental service for another house in 2024.

Not Clean

The property did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The floors were FILTHY (to the point we bought a mop & bucket) Stovetop was dirty upon check in. Refrigerators (x3) were not working properly, several shelves were broken. Previous guest items found in closets/dressers No hangers provided. Broken closet rods. There were roaches everywhere. Within the first few minutes of check in, roaches were discovered and when we called the management company they blamed the cleanliness of previous renters. They did send someone out to spray the next day and after spraying he told us to expect it to get worse as the roaches come out to avoid the poison. There were other maintenance issues such as the pool fountain and lighting not working, broken rocking chair, and a consistent leak in the basement ceiling causing water to pool on the tile floor. No effort was made to correct any of those items upon notification. Not enough kitchen utensils and pots and pans available were in poor condition. We ended up buying items to use for our stay. We reached out to the management company prior to our visit with a few questions and they were very dismissive, Upon arrival it became clear that they do not care about the consumer experience as several of the answers they gave us were not accurate. It’s a shame that the home is not being properly cared for as it is a very good layout in an absolutely beautiful location. I would not recommend this property.

We truly hate to hear that your expectations weren't met during your stay at Hibernation Hideaway, Joseph. Having encountered cleanliness issues, along with the refrigerator not working, items left behind from previous guests, broken closet rods, pests, the kitchen utensils being unusable, and more, this is completely unacceptable and we are so sorry this is how your vacation went. While we were able to correct some of the things, unfortunately, some of these issues required vendor assistance and we truly apologize that these were not able to be resolved during your stay. We have followed up with the appropriate departments to make sure that these matters are rectified. We never want any of our guests to feel unheard or that we do not value our guests, and this matter has been addressed. We, again, sincerely apologize for such a poor experience, and we would love to have the opportunity to show you a better stay in the near future, perhaps at another one of our 400+ properties.

Beautiful property, Interesting Visit, LOTS OF ISSUES

There were several things wrong with the property. This is one of the reasons why I do not like dealing with management companies as they do not care like the owner would/should care. Yes, the property was beautiful in its decor, wood, size, location and amenities. However, I do think that having a 6 pm check in is not cool. Considering there is no discount for the first night, why is the price full price when you cannot check in (guaranteed) by 6 pm. 2. 2 of the 3 microwaves did not work 3. 1 of the 3 refrigerators did not work 4. 1 of the bedrooms air conditioning did not work and their bathroom toilet sink was broken 5. The lights on the waterfall and the waterfall itself did not work. 6. The outside door to the pool room does not close properly/function properly. 7. We knew in advance that the theater room would not work. 8. The flooring will eventually need to be redone as there are tons of gaps all over the floor for dirt and bugs to collect ... 9. And LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THERE WERE ROACHES everywhere. Not like an invasion but enough that EVERYONE complained! That was terribly embarrassing and disgusting. UGH! No, we did not call management during any of this as we had people to attend to, etc. Management should have ensured that all of the above was handled before we arrived. But, once again, that is the issue with having management companies handle your home ... there is no TLC. It is all to automatic and rote.

While we wish we were made aware of these issues during your stay, we understand you not wanting to call and make the best of your vacation. Although all of our properties are inspected and treated monthly for all pests, unfortunately, sometimes they persist despite our efforts. We appreciate you reaching out to us after your departure and bringing your concerns to our attention. We've shared your feedback with upper management, and we cannot apologize enough for your disappointing experience. As we continue to grow, we're always looking for ways to improve, and we truly appreciate your honest review. While we understand your hesitation to stay with us again in the near future, we do hope you're able to return to the Smokies in the near future for a more enjoyable getaway, regardless of where you decide to stay.

Big Family Rental

Scenic property in a nice rental with a lot of space. Liked being close to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge without having to be in the middle of things - those two towns are super crowded & busy. Quick drive to Smoky Mountains. Took one star off because I kind of thought that at this price point, the rental would have been immaculately maintained, but that wasn't the case. Maybe my expectations were too high. There were no speakers in the media room, which made it pretty unusable & a heater wouldn't turn off in the pool room even though it was July and very hot already. The mattresses/pillows also didn't match the price point in my opinion. Knowing exactly what I would be getting into now, I would still rent the house, but my expectations would be a bit lower.

Great group space

We came here for a women's retreat and it was amazing. The view was incredible, the house was spacious, and the hot tub and pool were a big hit! Everyone wished we had just one more day.

Perfect home from away gatherings!

The reviews stated sleeps 40; the home was perfect for the 40 of us!! We were never crowded nor felt like we were on top of one another. The advertised pictures are true, but there’s a lot of beauty that’s unadvertised! This place was a gem, for my family that traveled in for a graduation at UTK! Everyone raved about the house and kept saying how nice everything was. Also, there was plenty of parking available, which is a huge plus!!
