Enjoy fishing for bass, northern, wallye, and many and many others on several lakes within minutes from property. Winter activities include cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling just a few hundred feet away from driveway.
In summer relax by a campfire or take a ride on the ATV trails which is just down the road. Take a walk on 52 acres while appreciating the natural beauty of the north woods or take a 15 minute ride into town enjoying the restaurants and shopping or stay in and enjoy a game of darts or pool in the game room.
We loved our stay in Deerbrook. We most definitely will be looking into another stay there. There are absolutely no complaints that I can think of . It is a beautiful place and VERY relaxing. We look forward to doing business with you in the future.
Awesome place to get away from it all, couldn't of asked for more from our stay. It's a huge house with all the necessities you'll ever need for a great getaway.
I would not recommend this rental property unless you are okay with having to clean it first. The bathroom smelled like an outhouse. I had to go into town to purchase bed sheets and cleaning supplies. The place smelled musty. The fire pit was full of garbage that needed to be burned before we could use it. The beautiful view of the woods was the only accurate description of the place. The grass also need cutting.
Stayed for a night to cap off a bachelor party weekend. The property had everything we could have hoped for, including a basketball hoop, enough bunk space for six, a great fire pit, trail access right down the street, a couple of lakes and fishing spots nearby, and a pool/ping-pong table. A great experience at a reasonable price and very accommodating, friendly owners.
Very clean, plenty of space, and located on an ATV route (the one through Summit Lake that gets you to Parrish trails plus Oneida and Lincoln Cty trails). 15 min drive from Augusta Springs trails. Nice large kitchen for communal food prep/gathering. Deck and included grill for outside grilling. We do a lot of ATVing throughout the year and this is one of the nicest affordable places we've been at. Plenty of hooks in entryway to hang up dirty clothes and a covered drive-in space to unload/load without battling the weather.
Plus there's a bunch of wooded acreage to wander through or just simply sit and watch the critters come by and good parking for multiple vehicles with trailers.
We were in the area grouse hunting, and this was a very good choice for a place to stay. It was on a very nice wooded acerage close to some area lakes, quiet, clean, with lots of room for gear. This house could easily accomodate a larger group. The owner was very accomodative in terms of getting keys, being paid..etc. The listing and photos are accurate.
My family stayed in this home over the 4th of July. This is a Home not a cabin. Lots of new improvements and it is in a quiet area to relax and enjoy the Northern Wisconsin woods and lakes.
About 10 miles from Antigo. Take Hwy 45 to J. Go West on J approximately 1 mile. At the stop sign turn right on Highway B. Approximately 1 - 1 1/2 miles to Bogus Road. Turn Left on Bogus Road. The house is the first driveway on the left side of the road.
