We enjoyed our stay. Wendy responds promptly when messaged and attends to needs in a timely fashion. There were some nice touches that felt like home such as lap blankets in the living room, a spacious and well equipped kitchen, a spacious living room, and the area is in a nice setting.
Everything, from communication with Wendy to the clean and cozy cabin made us feel very welcome. Everything we needed was there and we couldnt ask for a better host and location. Wendy did everything to make our stay perfect. We can't wait to go back!
Very cozy, clean, and newly remodeled cottage. We stayed here for four days during the 2024 deer hunt opening weekend. The owners were great to work with and this property has a lake view from the living room. We absolutely loved it! Will definitely be back!
Like a home away from home. It was very cozy with modern updates. They have all the basics plus! If you felt like making muffins, for example, you would have all the tools you need. It was peaceful and relaxing!!
What a gem! Clean, comfortable, great serene location and WONDERFUL hosts! This getaway was for my mother-in-law who suffers from Alzheimers. We've decided to make 'moments' for her, and memories for us, by taking her on little getaways. This was exactly what we'd hoped for. we've
My family and I enjoyed three nights here while visiting family in Northern Wisconsin. This property is beautifully renovated and very cozy. The amenities in the kitchen provide everything you need to prep and enjoy meals together. Wendy and John put together a helpful guest book with walking trails, ATV routes, and local recommendations for anything you might need in the area (groceries, golf, restaurants, ect). Their property is surrounded trees providing privacy and breathtaking views of beautiful fall foliage. It doesn’t get better than enjoying a warm coffee and watch the leaves fall on a chilly October morning. We would definitely stay here when we visit again!

Thank you so much for the kind words. (And the wonderful cards from the children!) Hopefully on your next visit the weather will cooperate and you can enjoy some campfire time. :) We'd love to have you back anytime. Enjoy the rest of your fall season.
About the host
Hosted by WENDY MCINTEE
We are lifelong Wisconsin residents and enjoy all of our seasons and what the outdoors has to offer. We work hard to play hard - enjoying UTV's, snowmobiling, boating, fishing, hiking, cocktail cruises, and the occasional round of golf.
Why they chose this property
After exploring all of the various areas of Northern Wisconsin we chose this area due to the proximity to the BEST trails and recreational activities. We enjoy the laid-back, quieter part of this area vs. some of the more touristy/busy ones.
What makes this property unique
We truly believe that the area we are in has the best trails - including ATV/UTV, snowmobile, Ice Age and other hiking trails. We are within minutes of bars and restaurants, golf courses, and dozens of lakes. It's the best spot to make your "base camp" for fun and relaxation.
The house is in a wooded setting - tucked back from the road. Easy in / easy out for trailers with lots of parking available. Large yard for enjoying campfires, yard games (cornhole provided), and grilling out.
