This spacious and beautiful home, built in 2004 and recently updated, sits on 1 acre in the majestic pine trees of the Black Forest of northern Colorado Springs. The spacious balcony has ample seating and allows for soaking in nature's finest. Only a half-mile up the road, is the Fox Run Regional Park which has two ponds, a gazebo, large meadows for playing sports, two playground areas, trails throughout the woods for hiking, and a picturesque view of Pikes Peak.

You are sure to be comfortable in one of the five bedrooms, the well-lit living room or the walk-out basement family room. Your competitive spirit will come alive in the game room where you can enjoy a friendly game of ping pong or basketball shoot-out. If you would rather, take your game outside and play a game of hoops on the 24' x 30' court. Cornhole boards are also available for your use. While outside, enjoy the cool mountain air and whip up breakfast in the outdoor kitchen or burgers on the wood-burning Texas-size BBQ grilled smoker.

Your vacation home is situated in the peaceful woods, yet is only 2.5 miles off of I-25 and gives you the amenities of a large grocery store, Wal-Mart, Bass Pro Shop, and many eateries a mere five minutes away. We have been married for twenty-eight years and God has blessed us with four amazing now adult children. This is our personal home which we rent while camping less than 15 minutes away. You will see that the home has our pictures and some of our belongings in the bedrooms. There will be ample space for your items as well.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this home when it was in the initial ground-breaking phase from the custom home builder who was building it as a spec house. We loved the open floor plan, the proximity to Fox Run Regional Park, the beautiful treed setting, and the quick access to so many things. We love it here and we think you will enjoy it too! In 2020 we took the home through an interior remodel, using the services of our initial builder. Over the last few years, we have also been updating the exterior, including windows.
