  • Quiet Cabin

"I rented this cabin for some of the guests who were flying in to attend my wedding on Pikes Peak. :-) The cabin was pretty hard to find at night as GPS is in and out, but the cabin was nice and clean and slept many guests. It was really peaceful and had great views. Only drawback was no condiments or even coffee in fridge or cupboards. Owner was amazing and mailed back a personal item I left behind for free. Very kind and always answered back immediately. Definitely would rent again."

  • AWESOME!

"The cabin was great! Enough room for everyone to find their own space. Lots of sun on the deck. We saw four deer, 2 rabbits and a fox as they strolled nearby. Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. Cabin was exactly as described, clean, well-maintained. We traveled to Pike's Peak for some adventure. Really enjoyed our stay and hopefully one day will come back again."

  • God's Country !

"Such a beautiful & peaceful place for my husband & I who stayed 2 days and really wished we could've stayed longer ! Eagle's Nest had everything we could've needed and more ! The cabin was easy to find and had easy access to go anywhere and about 15 minutes to Woodland Park. The deer we saw on our walks on the trails and while driving were an awesome sight ! The sweet smell from the pines were exhilarating and we truly felt we were one with nature. The cabin is decorated with love and truly is God's Country ! The rental process was easy and the owner's are very nice ! We highly recommend staying there and hope to go back very soon !"

  • Wonderful home

"My family of 6 rented the Dusty Rose for our week long stay in Cripple Creek, Co. The home was perfect for our needs. Centrally located to area sight seeing opportunities, near to downtown, but not so close to be bothersome and excellent amenities! The owners were very accommodating as well. We had two vehicles, one of which was a truck camper and 2 trailers. We asked in advance and the owners were fine with us parking all of them on the property. The home was supplied with linens and towels as well as dishes and pots n pans. Having access to a washer and dryer was a huge plus! The hot tub was well kept, clean and the perfect temperature! We were in the hot tub within 30 minutes of our arrival. There is a guest book in the home that was fun to read and to add to. By reviewing the guest book, we obtained some good ideas for places to dine. At one point, we locked ourselves out of the house and the neighbors - who are also the care takers - were kind enough to let us in. Our stay at the Dusty Rose was our first vacation rental, but will not be our last! The price and convenience of a vacation rental is so much better than staying at a hotel. Having access to a kitchen ensures that a wonderful vacation will not be a budget buster! The entire process, from booking to check out - including a myriad of questions from me (I'm a bit of a control freak) was easy and smooth. Lauren answered all of my questions and never once seemed bothered. I cannot recommend this home - or owners - enough!"
