Absolutely perfect home for our family of 5 (3 small children)! A 2 min walk to the playground and all shopping/dining. 5 min drive to great stroller-friendly walks. 20 min to fabulous kids museum. Fenced-in patio and two car garage were cherry on top!!

This property is very convenient for exploring the Blowing Rock Main Street area. We enjoyed being able to walk to all the shops and most restaurants. There’s an excellent restaurant literally just steps away (The Best Cellar). This was our second stay at The Wander Inn. We stayed there 2 1/2 years ago as well. The house is showing some wear (sofa and chairs a little saggy, mattresses a bit saggy) but it is still comfortable and clean. With a little updating from normal wear, it will be back to a five star rating from us.

Incredible location, close to so many restaurants and shopping. 2 minute walk to the park, which was very important to us traveling with 4 kids under 6. Large bedrooms and updated bathrooms plus the loft area for the kids was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect spot for our family!! Our kids (ages 7, 10 and 13) all loved the loft space. As parents, we loved being able to walk to dinner each night and being so close to the shops. Tweetsie and Mystery Hill were just a short drive away! The place was roomy and very clean.
