I recently purchased the home as a place to enjoy over the New England winter months and have tried to make it as comfortable as possible for my guests so they feel at home, whether on a work assignment, transition place, or base for an Arizona adventure. As such, I trust that my guests care for it as their own. If there is anything I can do to make it more comfortable, please don't hesitate to share it.
Why they chose this property
I immediately fell in love with the intimate, tree-lined neighborhood - unusual for Phoenix - of Spanish-style homes where you can walk at night and feel safe. There is a cul-de-sac at the end of the street, providing extra security. It is part of a small HOA subdivision called Sweetwater Cove. The backyard is fully enclosed with a locked gate. The interior, with its vaulted ceilings and room layout, feels bigger than it actually is. The renovated kitchen is very well-designed and easy to work in and well-equipped for the home cook.
What makes this property unique
You can sit on the back patio and watch the sunset and see the peak of Shadow Mountain in the distance. I love listening to the birds in the morning and often see hummingbirds at the flowers or birdbath. It’s quiet but very well located 1/2 mile from the I51, a major north-south freeway. It is:
