This was a great stay and one I would happily visit again. The location was perfect, about a five minute drive to all the best eats in Kīhei and a good midpoint for venturing to other areas (Lahaina, Road to Hana, etc). The host is kind and communication/check in was easy. They even had some beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas which was nice to not have to source! The stay itself was clean, a short walk to a small beach area, and a very nice ocean view (great for morning coffee on the balcony).

Penthouse view? Just wonderful! Very clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. Spoke with the Host a couple of times - very nice and helpful! We have stayed in this building several times in the past and agree - this unit is the best we have stayed in!

This condo worked perfectly for a few days in Kihei — the beach towels, chairs and umbrellas were super handy to have, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was comfy. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy, and communication was prompt and detailed. Would stay again!

Joan was an amazing host! Excellent communicator, Her place was absolutely perfect for what we wanted and needed! Beautiful spot to watch the sunset, watch the whales play and just enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine!! We would definitely stay again!!

This condo has absolutely everything you could need or want. The location is excellent as well for getting around Maui. The pool area is lovely. Can’t see the full sunset from the lanai but a quick walk to the very quiet small beach is excellent. Great responsive communication from owner.

Very nice condo and location. Centered in Kehei central to all island activities offered great options in all directions.Updated condo. Friendly staff. Fully stocked with all the amenities for a great vacation.The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Got a great sleep every night.Nice view of the water. Pool & hot tub. Perfect location. Beautiful views. Private little beach out back that's not busy.

It was an amazing place to stay. Have everything you need and is in a perfect location for all activities. Its a real homie, laid back environment. Will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Fun Family Staycation

We loved the pool and proximity to beach. The view from the lanai is way better than it seems from the photos too. The checkin/checkout process was smooth and the unit was stocked with plenty of beach amenities. We would stay here again!

We found this property online while searching for a place to stay, It looked good figured we’d take a chance and glad we did! Place is really clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed even an icebox for a couple drinks while we were out and about! Very close to the beach it was a great stay, highly recommend it!

An excellent condo with beautiful views and swimmable beach.

Located mid Kihei, you are well located to visit all the other beautiful places on the island. The property has responsive owners and man agent. I would definitely stay again.

Nice One-Bedroom Condo in Great Kihei Location

Kauhale Makai is strategically located just north of the main business district in Kihei on a beautiful beach. We have stayed here before and found our February 2017 stay every bit as good as in the past.
