Tall Timbers Lodge, nestled among Aspens and Evergreens at the top of Snowmass Village, at 8,900 feet, and minutes away from the slopes, provides the perfect setting for your mountain getaway. This spacious, 4,100 sq. ft., two-level home provides comfortable living space for large group vacations. This elegant home presents a sophisticated log home ambiance partnered with perfectly selected custom décor and traditional rustic sophistication. Each space is finished with comfort in mind while maintaining the perfect balance of form, function, and aesthetics. This home is fully furnished and offers the comforts and amenities of home. The upper floor is the main living area and features vaulted ceilings with expansive windows that showcase stunning views of surrounding nature, wildlife, and mountains. This great room can accommodate groups gathering by the wood burning fireplace, at the Baby Grand piano, around a board game, or watching the LG 55” HD OLED 4K Smart TV. North of the great room is a balcony that provides elevated mountain views. Open to the living space is a fully stocked gourmet kitchen that features bar top seating for 3, new 2023 Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, and new 2023 Bosch dishwasher. The spacious dining area accommodates 14 (with table leaf) and connects to a flagstone patio with a new 2022 built-in DCS gas grill, outdoor Sonos sound system, and a private hot tub. As of 2021, the home has been outfitted with a state-of-the-art full house Sonos surround sound system, new HD Smart TVs, and brand new top of the line NetGear Nighthawk router that will provide any bandwidth demand.
The lower level family room includes a LG 55” HD OLED 4K Smart TV, Sonos surround sound system, gas fireplace, game table, ¾ bath with steam, and wet bar. A separate and large laundry room with new 2022 Whirlpool washer & Whirlpool dryer is off the family room.
Tall Timbers Lodge has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are Master Suites. Four of the bedrooms are on the upper level excepting “Cowgirl Heaven” which is on the first level and down the hall from the family room.
Kitchen is supplied with dish soap, dishwasher soap, SOS pads, paper towels, dish towels, kitchen sponge, and spices. Drip coffee maker has a gold filter. Also Keurig & French Press provided. Tarocco amenities, TP, Kleenex, hair dryers, and extra towels supplied in all bathrooms. Vacuum cleaner is kept in entry closet. Iron and Ironing board, cleaning supplies and equipment, laundry soap, laundry basket, fire extinguisher, lights bulbs, and extra batteries can be found in laundry room. Pak’n’Play is in Master bedroom closet; children’s dishes are in pantry to left of refrigerator.
WEST WING BEDROOMS:
The Grand Master suite shares a double-sided gas fireplace with a large private spa-inspired bath. The bath features double sinks, separate steeping tub, steam shower, private water closet, and walk-in closet. The bedroom features a King bed with user operated firmness controls, office space that includes a printer/scanner/fax machine, and 49” Sony HD OLED 4K TV. West bedroom balcony provides mountain views and the east sliding glass door opens to a flagstone patio with direct access to the backyard and hot tub.
The End Guest Bedroom features a Queen bed with new state of the art mattress, gas fireplace, HD TV, surround sound system, and a private 3/4 bath. Built-in cabinets offer armoire-style drawers and hanging rods for clothes.
The Center Guest Bedroom features a Queen bed, with new state of the art mattress, HD TV, surround sound system, and is directly attached to a 3/4 bathroom that also can be accessed from the hall. This cozy bedroom has a dresser and closet.
EAST WING BEDROOM: The Second Master Suite features a King bed, with new state of the art mattress, sliding door to backyard and hot tub access, gas fireplace, its own HD TV, surround sound system, and en suite full bath with large closet.
LOWER LEVEL BEDROOM: The lower level bedroom features three bunk beds, sleeping six; its own TV; dresser; and, its own private full bath with closet.
Able to sleep 14 guests, Tall Timbers is a fantastic find.
SKI ACCESS: Just 1,300 feet from the front door. Walk 7 to 10 minutes, mostly uphill, or drive two minutes to the West Fork access on Upper Faraway Loop and ski to Two Creeks Lift via West Fork run. There are 2 parking spaces at West Fork Trail access at Stark's Powerline Connection. Additional information about ski access will be sent to you upon request. Specific questions are welcome. We also offer complimentary parking permit honored at the Carriage Way Numbered Lots by Base Village & Snowmass Mall, Two Creeks Lot, and the Divide Lot. (SEE COMPLIMENTARY BASE VILLAGE PARKING PERMIT OPTION BELOW.)
GARAGE: Garage parking is for 1 vehicle; the driveway can fit two - four additional vehicles.
DIAL-A-RIDE DIRECT SERVICE FROM/TO FRONT DOOR: 970-923-3030. WINTER ONLY. $1.00/person, limit of 6 people. Trip must originate and end in Snowmass Village. Call Dial-A-Ride for trips to ski access, Base Village or Clark’s Market at The Snowmass Center. It is 1.8 miles to Brush Creek & 3 miles to Base Village. May take Dial-A-Ride 40 minutes to pick up riders during busy times and days.
The Free Village Shuttle DOES NOT go to home. The Free Shuttle turnaround on Faraway Rd is 1.7 miles from home.
COMPLIMENTARY PARKING PERMIT: Two guest vehicles will be provided daily parking permits commencing the day after Guest's arrival through last full day of stay for the numbered lots off Carriage Way. Guest will need to provide a photo of each vehicle's license plate prior to arrival. In the event Guest leases a rental car, then a photo of license plate may be sent after Guest takes possession of vehicle. If Guest is dropping off children at The Tree House, he can continue on Carriage Way, then park, and walk easily to the ski slopes.
A parking permit is not needed for the Carriage Way numbered lots during hours commencing in the afternoon, Apres Ski, through the close of shopping, dining, and drinking establishments and the wee hours. The Carriage Way lots are checked between 8 am - 3 pm. During that time parking permits are required. Vehicles out of compliance will be ticketed (fine is $60/day).
CANCELLATION POLICY: Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
By booking the rental Property and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read and understand, and agree to be bound by all terms, conditions, and policies in the attached SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT. Further, renters are asked and encouraged to abide the TOSV "Good Neighbor Guide".
Other housekeeping services will be provided upon request at a charge to the guest. Daily $105; Mid-Week $140; Linen Change $225. Please ask for Housekeeping Service Description Attachment if interested.
Carriage Way numbered lots parking permits during winter are $15/day per each car. (Two complimentary permits will be provided upon request.)

The house was beautiful and well stocked, perfect for our family vacation with grandparents included. Kim, the property manager went above and beyond with her responsiveness, including providing suggestions for alternate activities when we learned that Snowmass was closing early. We hope to be back!

House was spacious for our group. Loved the hot tub. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied. Not really ski in ski out. Recommend renting a car. Great communication!!!!! And they were flexible with us adding another night when our plane didn’t leave on time.

We had a great time at Tall Timbers in Snowmass! Kim was so wonderful at communicating and taking care of us! Left us a welcome basket with lots of goodies and gifts...so unexpected and kind! Great stocked kitchen and a great place for our family. Kids loved the bunk room and we had great time eating together and playing games in the common areas. Great house!
Tall timbers was perfect for our group of 10. The property is very private, located in a quiet neighborhood. Tall timbers is Spacious, clean inside and out, well maintained and an awesome sonos system. Kim our host was super responsive, and professional! Will definitely return!

Had the most incredible stay with me and 13 other friends. The house comfortably fit all of us and we were able to enjoy everything the house had to offer. Would recommend to anyone visiting Snowmass!
Our stay was incredible. The house was perfect for our family. It made our vacation that much better!!The rooms are well appointed. The kitchen well stocked. Just perfect. Kim the property manager was also one of the reasons the house was perfect. She was in constant communication to make sure everything was going well. She is a star!

The attention to details was amazing. We had amazing communication before our visit and during with the manager and the welcome basket was a nice touch. The house was more than we needed for 8 people. Close to the venue and close to Aspen for dinners. We will be back.

Not worth the high price they charge for this house. Ski in/out is a joke. This is not walkable unless you want to walk up the streets a LONG way. So the listing is very misleading yet they charge a premium.This house is older on the inside. Not as high end as suggested. Kitchen cabinets & accessories are dated and worn. We had issues with hot water in one of the main bedrooms that needed outside service if we wanted fixed (how was that not already repaired). We've rented dozens of VRBOs. We would not recommend this one for this high end cost. Overall, the house is fine, but they charge for ski in/out and this isn't that.

People love this home, so I was a bit surprised that this guest had another perspective. Is it good to see things through someone else's eyes and so I appreciate the guest's comments. Most, if not all, of the woodwork, stone work, and tile work is handcrafted. Some people appreciate the craft; some appreciate an overall charming ambiance. I think the photos show the home accurately and show that it is not high-end in terms of the most recent decorating designs but is one of a kind.
We did have a hot water issue in one shower. Unfortunately, mis-diagnosed in the past. We were willing to call in a plumber with guest's permission, but had to wait as guest preferred.
The home in not ski in/ski out and attempts are made to represent the proximity to the ski access as accurately as possible, given in walking time and number of feet from home to access in the header and more specifically in the description. Additional information is supplied when inquirers and guests ask about the access including providing comments from other guests who have used it as well as sending maps and diagrams. Too, a complimentary parking permit honored at 3 Snowmass Village parking lot locations close to lifts is offered as an alternative.
The guest said that they were easy and my experience was that they were easy in regards to their arrival, stay, and departure. They were excellent guests.
I picked up groceries down valley and delivered to home just before the guest's arrival and offered a complimentary mid-week housekeeping service. They declined the service so I just took the trash. We do endeavor to provide the guest options so that they may have a great experience and are saddened that the home did not meet their expectations.
This home is one of a kind and too, it is a sole home that is not part of a larger inventory; so, we cannot offer this guest another home upon their next visit. We do hope that they enjoyed their time in the Aspen Snowmass area otherwise and can find a home that they may like more in the future.

Our group of 6-8 partake in an annual ski trip in the Rockies every year. This year we decided to visit Snowmass and stay at Tall Timber Lodge. It's always a dice roll on the quality of the home rental but I'm here to advise that Tall Timbers was outstanding! The property manager was engaged well before our visit. Helpful information on the house, local services, ski access, etc. was provided well in advance. That same support was provided day of arrival and during our stay. The house itself was exactly as described and shown on VRBO. It was also extremely well equipped. Every dish, cooking utensil, most spices, paper goods, etc. were all available and of high quality (think all-clad cookware). We cooked several meals during our stay and nearly everything we needed, with the exception of the ingredients, was provided. The outdoor grill was also outstanding. Everything onsite was functional and we were even provided with a welcome snack basket with lots of goodies. The house is not ski-in/out; however, it's close. It's a shortish walk from the house to join the trail system. We actually parked a car at the nearby trail head (two spaces available) each day which puts you right on the trail no walking required. Overall the house and the trip were outstanding. We would definitely rent it again in.

The house is amazing. The concierge, Kim, was gracious and responsive. She was available to answer all my questions prior to arrival. It’s Aspen/Snowmass so I expected luxury, but my expectations were exceeded. The A/V system was easy to access and the views are stunning.

This property is very well kept. The owner and host have thought of everything for your stay. Ever had a rental that didn’t have enough stock of paper towels or TP? Not here. Property management was stellar with their communication throughout and we didn’t have one problem during our week long stay. I’ve been skiing with the same group of guys for the past 12 years and this rental has been the best experience we have had over several different ski towns. There was enough room for all adults to spread out and still not feel like we were on top of one another. We even go to make friends with the neighborhood fox!
