The property was clean and comfortable. Even more lovely than the photos!! There were deer and so many chipmunks!! Very cool. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable and each room had a very large closet with plenty of room to organize and store our stuff. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed. Dont forget to bring stuff to make smores at the fire pit by the river!!

The house was great plenty of room for our family with everyone there we had 12 people kids and adults. About 40 minutes to Petoskey and Makenaw and about 5 minutes from the town nearby. We were looking for a quieter place and this fit our needs. Would stay again if we ever do.

We had a great Northern Michigan log cabin experience! Doug’s communication was excellent. 3 bathrooms & a second sitting area down in the lower level were nice features. We stayed for four nights including New Years Eve.

Great Stay!

We had an amazing weekend at this property! The house was exactly what was pictured and the views were even more incredible! Doug was super easy to work with and we definitely plan on returning!

Family Vacation

The cabin was the perfect size for our family. We picked this area because of all the things to do close by. Room to play outside for the grandkids to run some energy off. The property is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful stay on the river

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay! It was perfect. Charming, clean, with a great area for a fire at night. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

End of summer getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Sidelle's Indian River cabin. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Great time with family seeing the area sites, beaches, fishing and stories around the campfire.

Family Weekend Getaway

The cabin is beautiful, the rooms spacious and the beds are beyond comfortable. The property and views are amazing. My entire family had a wonderful time and we made many memories!

Great Family vacation

Great location. Close to Indian River. Loved having 3 full baths. Would Beautiful cabin with a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need.

Great place to stay and we had a great time. Just a suggestion all the tub/showers could use a grab bar to assist older people getting in and out. Very relaxing around the firepit in the evenings. An electric lock would be much easier than the lockbox with key.

Great stay at the log cabin!!

The vacation house was so much fun!! The property was beautiful and private. Lots of space and our family had a great time Doug was very responsive to me when I realized I left some jackets at the house. I would highly recommend this log cabin for a family friendly vacation

Cabin was great for our family. Location is excellent for Mackinac area, DeVoe Beach, Petoskey, Indian River. The cabin was clean. Kitchen well stocked. Beds comfortable. Plenty of games. Foosball was especially fun with lively competition. Backyard was great with plenty of room to kick around a soccer ball. Added bonus…plenty of firewood. We had a fire every night. Sturgeon River is swift so we needed to set strict rules for our littles ones. Very peaceful. Great to sit out on the deck with morning coffee and breakfast and end of day refreshments.Just a couple things that could be addressed. The upstairs shower stopped working after the first day. Something with the valve? We only used the grill once on the last day for burgers. We ran out of propane gas half way thru the cooking process and did not have a spare tank. Not good. There were no tissues provided. (We were busy every day and did not call for service on these issues as we figured out a workaround.)Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend the Sidell cabin.

July Vacation

Great cabin. Location was perfect for day trips to Harbor Springs & Petoskey, Mackinaw, and Cheboygan. Close to awesome beaches on Burt Lake. Cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. Great spot on the river and quite private. Great place! Thanks!
