Great home away from home

Fabulous location and can walk Downtown in less than 20 minutes along safe sidewalk. Super comfortable bed, one queen. Great shower and lots of spare condiments in kitchen. Overall excellent for reasonable.price.

Perfect stay

This was a perfect place for me to stay. The apt looked just like the pictures. It was clean. It had everything I needed except for a small bar of soap. In addition to a generous supply of coffee and tea there were lots of condiments and such. It was a very short drive to downtown. It was also a very short walk to a small park overlooking the water where they say you can see Mt Denali on a clear day. I would stay again especially for the excellent price.

Had a great stay here! The studio was clean, quiet, and welcoming, and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. It was also very close to downtown Anchorage and was an excellent alternative to a pricey hotel room. The washer and dryer in the unit were an added bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed staying here. We stayed 4 days total, it was like having a home base for exploring Alaska. The washer and dryer were so convenient. If I owned a VRBO rental I would model it after this top notch studio,

Very comfortable and authentic feeling

Sandra’s studio apartment was exactly what we were looking for for our two-night stay in Anchorage. Great location, relaxed feeling in a nice neighborhood, and close to downtown (you save on Ubers). MUCH better value than a downtown hotel. Also, Sandra gave a perfect recommendation for a nice dinner out at a fantastic local spot. Would definitely stay there again.

Friendly Safe Stay

A cute little place with dated character and comfy amenities. The unit is older but that comes with Alaska. The updates are nice with a comfy bed, new carpet and new flooring which gives the unit a nice character when paired with the older cabinets. We found the bed super comfortable as it is a little more on the firm side. Water pressure in the shower was great and water gets hot. I can’t say I heard a peep from another person even though the unit is attached to the host’s home.Overall great stay.Overall great stay, especially when places are hard to come by in Alaska.

When you pull up and see the entrance you almost think it's a dog house. Do not let that fool you!!! You go down the stairs to this big beautiful apartment. The couch is super comfy you got so much room. Love that the teapot coffee maker and knives match. What a bonus to have a knife set since I had bought sourdough bread and needed something to cut it. Full size washer dryer huge bathroom. if you like a very firm bed this is for you. It was a little too firm for me however there we're extra blankets and comforters so I was able to basically do a mattress topper.Sandra thought of everything and is super responsive. A choice of coffees and teas condiments pretty much anything you could ask for she thought of

Five Star apt. Everything you need is there. All top notch. Bed is wonderful. One large room studio, under house. Heard foot steps above early and late was only issue. Worked fine for our dchefule.

Warm and wonderful welcome to Anchorage! After a late night arrival, the space was quiet, clean and spacious for the two of us. Host provided us clear instructions and there’s even oodles of helpful travel guides available to make us feel like we are guests in someone’s home who truly cares. Thank you!
