Great vacation experience! Our host made everything warm and welcoming. The property gave us everything we were looking for. Water view, heated pools, and a three minute walk to a beautiful beach. Very private and quiet, but if you choose to socialize,a very welcoming community awaits!"
Dean and Mary are excellent hosts. Very responsive. Unit is great, with the exception of the bedroom TV, which was broken throughout our stay. One suggestion for improving the unit: replace guest bedroom window. When the wind blows ( almost constantly) it sounds like one is inside a tornado. Very loud!
As I sit here at my home in Kansas watching it snow, I so wish we had more time at Mary and Dean’s beautiful Island Reef condo! It’s beautifully decorated with a new kitchen, new beds and flooring not to mention a gorgeous view of the sunrise over the intracoastal. It’s very near the pool, gas grills and fishing dock and a short walk across the street to a second pool and Turtle Beach. If your looking for a bite to eat, Turtles Grill is a couple of blocks away or pick up the free Siesta Key Breeze Trolley down to the Village. Loved every minute of our stay...can’t wait until next year!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience on the Vrbo site. Dean and I are so glad you enjoyed your stay and were comfortable in the new beds. We truly appreciate your feedback!
Very clean and well maintained condo on the quiet end of Siesta Key
While not directly on the SK main beach, this clean and very well maintained condo is the perfect place for quiet or a small family stay. You need a car, but driving is 3 minutes from restaurants and stores, 5 minutes from the mainland, and 7 minutes to the legendary beach where there is ample parking. Newer and well stocked kitchen, two ample bedrooms, tasteful beachy decor everywhere and a sun room with a million dollar sunrise view that you will never want to leave. Laundry in unit. Small gym downtsairs. Two pools. Walk across the street to a small beach. . Wifi worked well. Nothing felt like it had been overlooked by the wonderful hosts who live nearby.
We loved this condo. It’s beautifully decorated and well appointed. We had everything we needed to cook, grill, go to the beach, etc. Great view. Quiet spot on the property yet great access to all amenities. Our hosts could not have been more helpful.
This was the second year that we stayed in this property. The new owner has updated the kitchen with new cabinets, dishwasher, refrigerator and accessories. New tile floors are in all areas of the condo except the bedrooms. The intracoastal waterway view from the condo is great. The condo complex has two nice pools and beach access to the Turtle Beach area on the Gulf side. If you are into fishing you can fish off the pier in the intracoastal waterway. While the condo association has activities posted, most activities are for the owners who are full time residents. Our stay at the condo was very pleasant and we would recommend it highly.
Great experience. We loved this condo for the location, decor, views, and amenities. This condo exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, and well outfitted. The property, including both pools, was very clean and well maintained. Access and proximity to the beach was convenient. Owners were responsive and accommodating. We especially liked the location - away from the fray but great access to all that Siesta Key has to offer.
Overall our experience was great. However we found the kitchen disappointing. The fridge and dishwasher are quite old and a bit touchy. Also the pots and pans are terrible. We had to purchase some as well as a colander. Due to the fact that Covid is still a real problem (and Sarasota had lifted its face mask requirement) we needed to cook most meals in our unit. In general the kitchen supplies were mediocre when compared to other rental properties.

Hi Gary- so glad you enjoyed your stay in Sarasota. We are sorry you felt that way about the kitchen tools. Communication is key, you could have told us if you felt you were in need of any kitchen tools to cook with during your stay. Prior guests have not felt that way but we would have certainly accommodated. We are aware of the refrigerator and we are replacing that once the unit is not occupied. Thank you for your feedback.
This was our first time in the siesta key area. We are so happy that we chose the turtle beach area. The beach is more narrow then siesta key, but there was far less traffic and people in that area. The condo was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and well-stocked with lots of towels and beach equipment. The pool was very warm, and the walk up to the beach took about five minutes. We would have definitely rented this condo again next year, but it was already booked..
