Frequently Asked Questions:
1. How is the drive to the cabin? The roads and private driveway to the cabin are paved and well maintained. As with most mountain areas there are curves, climbs and few guard rails so we highly suggest arriving before dark. Just pay close attention and drive slowly. City dwellers may need to channel their adventurous spirit. :)
2. Do I need 4-wheel drive to access the cabin? Only if the weather would require a 4-wheel drive to go anywhere such as heavy snow and icy conditions which is thankfully rare at our elevation of 1600 ft. Please check the weather before you leave.
3. What toiletries are provided? We provide shampoo, conditioner and body gel dispensers in each bathroom.
4. What household supplies are provided? Tissues in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and dishwasher tablets. If you run out or need additional supplies, there's a Dollar General 10 minutes from the cabin.
5. Do you have a crib? Yes, we provide a Dream On Me mini crib outfitted with a mattress and sheets.
6. Do you provide a grill? Yes, we have a park style charcoal grill near the parking area for your use, please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.
7. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? Yes, it’s drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay.
8. When will I get the address and cabin access info? This will be provided via message the day before your stay. A few days before your stay we’ll provide you with local info that will help you pack.
9. Do you offer discounts? We offer a weekly discount and a monthly discount. From time to time, we may reduce the price to fill any remaining dates and that reduction will be reflected in the price you see when you’re reserving the cabin.
10. What if it snows while we're traveling to the cabin? Although it rarely gets severely cold or snowy in the Smokes during the winter months, it does happen occasionally. Snowfall typically occurs December through March, and sometimes as early as November.
Please check the weather forecast before traveling. If the weather calls for snow, bring some extra groceries and wood for the fireplace just in case you get snowed in for a couple days (which is a rare occurrence but good to be prepared if the weather is calling for snow).
Also, if you plan to take Route 441 (Newfound Gap Pass) through Smoky Mountains National park check current road conditions at GSMNP as it's frequently closed during inclement weather.

Nancy, thank you for the lovely review — we’re glad our cabin felt peaceful and comfortable for your stay. Hope to welcome you back again when you’re ready for another relaxing week in the Smokies.
Our family of 5 had a magnificent stay! Communication was smooth, quick responses to needs or questions. The views and space were perfect. Wonderful location, close enough to the Park, Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge for ease accessibility, but far enough to experience the rest and peace of the mountains!
We had a great trip all around. A nice restful location paired with the craziness of Dollywood and some of the trails in the GSMNP. Our daughters had an amazing time and slept great too, which was a blessing for us.
This cabin was excellent! All areas on each of the three levels were clean and stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of room to spread out, but enough space to hang out together too. Views were incredible. Beds were comfy and towels and linens were fresh and clean. Hot tub worked great. Used the freezer, fridge, washer/dryer, coffee pot, dishwasher, oven and microwave — all were clean and worked without a problem. Hosts provided all the information we needed and responded to questions timely. Would 100% recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again (my kids are begging too, actually!).

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect mountain getaway for our family of five. The cabin was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The views were beautiful, and the location was ideal for exploring the area while still feeling peaceful and secluded. The hosts were fantastic to work with. Communication was excellent before and throughout our stay, making everything easy and stress-free.Our family made some wonderful memories here, and we truly didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-maintained cabin with great hosts and an amazing location, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to the Smokies!
Awesome home! Great location, close to Townsend and very close to the National Park. Cannot beat the location. Enjoyed the view from the hot tub, grilling out, and having dinner on the deck. Super easy check in and check out.

Thank you - we love the easy access to the National Park too! Visit again.
Was just an overall great stay!!!! Great hosts, clean cabin, perfect size. Nothing much to complain about. We had a fantastic trip and would stay here again.
The house was wonderful, great views, enjoyed the hot tub daily, comfortable bed, nice kitchen for cooking. The host was welcoming and helpful with questions, responded very quickly and friendly. We would definitely stay again.
1000000/10 experience. My family and I had the trip of a lifetime!! The cabin was absolutely perfect; it was perfect for our family of 5 and was the perfect cozy cabin experience we were hoping for. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We will definitely be back!!
The cabin was al we could’ve asked for and more. The views were incredible. It had all the amenities you could want or need. Beds were comfortable. The host was very responsive and easy to reach. They were also great at communicating leading up to our stay. We will absolutely be back!
The cabin is secluded yet you can see for miles. If you value peace and quiet this is the place for you. We of course went into town and did some tourist things but between the hot tub, fireplace, and the views from all three floors there is no reason to ever leave.

Great photos! Thanks for sharing and for the kind words, please visit again.
This cabin is in an excellent location. Once you get up the driveway to the cabin you are secluded. Up there by yourself, no passing cars, no other people. The view is amazing. The host responds to all inquiries very quickly. They are very pleasant to deal with. We had one small issue during our stay and it was dealt with and resolved very quickly. We were very satisfied with our stay and the hosts. We never did get to see any bears at the cabin. However an adorable chipmunk did play around and take a dirt bath in the front shrub area, very adorable. We did not use the whirlpool tub, so can’t comment on that. We did enjoy the hot tub a few times though. It’s great to relax in after a long day. I would definitely stay here again.
