Shelving Rock Lodge sleeps 8 to fit your family, but it’s also a perfect for a romantic couple’s getaway! Our cabin is located on 54 picturesque mountain acres and in walking distance of Shelving Rock Falls and area hiking trails. Enjoy all that Lake George offers just 30 minutes away: canoe, kayak, area attractions, shop outlets and Ski at West Mountain.

If you don’t want crowds.... explore our property: snowshoe, hike, and mountain bike without leaving home. The great room is perfect for cards, games, movies or relaxing by the cozy living room fire… or end your day gazing at the stars next to the large outdoor firepit or hot tub.
We have thought of everything for your stay so relax… you're on Mountain time!

Mountain cabin décor with all the comforts of home.
The King Master BR and guest BR (3 twins) are on 1st floor along with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room with large wood burning Fireplace. A Full Bath with both Jacuzzi and shower and half bath Powder/Laundry Room is also conveniently located on first floor. The fully equipped kitchen has 3 stools at the kitchen island and the dining area has 6 chairs. The large outside deck located off the Living Room has outdoor seating, a hot tub, a farm table with seating for 8 and a gas grill w/propane. There is a seasonal screened-in porch on main level for inclement weather.
Upstairs, there is a large loft overlooking the Great Room. It has a queen bed, sitting area and desk which provides for quiet time and relaxation. Air Mattress & linens are located in the tan chest if you have 8 people.
The lower level has a Game room with smart TV & DVD, seating area, foosball table, dart board and plenty of board games and DVD’s. It also has a full bath and small workout room with treadmill & weights.
Generac generator is automatically on for whole house comfort in the event of an area outage.

Shelving Rock Lodge is a quiet mountain escape in Fort Ann, NY on the West side of Lake George. Stroll through our gardens, explore streams and nature as the seasons change. You can literally walk out of the cabin and slip on your snow shoes or hiking boots.

----- What We Provide -----
All bedding linens, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen towels, cloth napkins and tablecloth.
Initial supply of products: toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher/hand soap and trash bags. You may want to bring extra as we may not furnish these products for your entire stay. We do not supply Shampoo or bath soap.
A fully equipped kitchen including a blender, toaster, coffee pot & grinder, wine opener and all cooking utensils. Most times you will find a large supply of spices and basic kitchen pantry supplies in case you forgot that essential item.
Washer/Dryer, ironing board and iron.

Outdoor Gas Grill propane provided
Firewood is stacked outdoors on site for the firepit.
The screened porch has firewood for LR fireplace. As you stroll, there is plenty of small kindling on property for starting fire.

Property features self-check-in with access information prior to arrival allowing you to walk-in when you arrive!
Have your WIFI password available prior to arrival as Cell service is tied to logging in via WIFI calling for calls and text.

------ Getting there ------
Getting here: We recommend 4WD or AWD for winter rentals. Our cabin is rurally located approx. 9 miles from Rt 149 in Ft. Ann, NY. Expect slow driving on this winding mountain road which is unpaved last 3 miles. Road is maintained by town and plowed sanded during winter.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Guest receives 100% if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before arrival; No refunds within 14 days of arrival.
