This wonderful Edisto Beach oceanfront home is just a few steps from the beach which is directly out your back door! You enter this home from an open deck facing Palmetto Blvd into an entry room that has the washer/dryer, utility closet and space for other gear you bring with you, want to keep in the house but mostly out of sight. This home has a central living, dining, and kitchen area with 2 bedrooms and full baths (tub/showers) on either side.

A large porch is out that back door that has a covered deck as well as a sundeck! Guest bedroom 1 is on the right side of the house with beach views, a king size bed, and TV. The street side bedroom on this side has a queen and a twin bunk. The left side of the house has a bedroom facing Palmetto with 2 queens and a twin bunk and a TV. The front beach view bedroom has a queen bed.

No, This is Patrick has been a popular vacation home for quite a few years now. Internet service is provided with a charcoal grill located under the house. Off street parking as well! Your departure cleaning fee is for FULL departure clean giving you the ability to enjoy your last day of your Edisto Beach vacation and not have to scrub bathrooms, kitchens and everything else in the house on your last day of vacation!

Perfect getaway!

We couldnā€™t have enjoyed our visit more. The house was perfect and we had everything we needed. The view and access to the beach was so wonderful and we spent most of our time on the gorgeous deck. It was everything we had hoped for in a quiet, relaxing vacation. We hope to return!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

We had a wonderful time at ā€œNo, this is Patrickā€. We had 6 adults and one child and fit perfectly. The house is set up exactly how you need for a small child including a jack in Jill bathroom that connects two rooms on one side of the house, and a fully fenced in deck that overlooks the beach. The deck is newly built and not splintery, so my child fully enjoyed being able to walk around barefoot on the deck. It was so nice to leave our items for the beach under the house to easily maneuver on the beach everyday. We will definitely be back!

Loved the property' it was clean and well maintained. Only one issue, the air conditioner dies not work well enough in the afternoon heat of the day. It was regularly 79 to 80 by 6pm in the house with air on. Changed the very dirty air filter with not much change.

Wonderful!

We had the best, most relaxing week! The home was very clean and is in a great location. The back porch and sun deck are so convenient and we really enjoyed the beautiful view and sound of the ocean waves throughout our entire stay. Thank you, we will be back!

Relaxing beach house

The house was right on the beach so we could enjoy the sounds of the ocean while we read on the awesome deck. The house was clean and had all we needed but the deck and location on the beach was the star. We ate breakfast on the table under the covered portion, we read books on the chaise in the sun, my son drew at the table in the afternoons. The deck has a gate at the top so our dog could happily enjoy being outside with us as well.

Ocean sound was wonderful!

Owners have redone house with new painting, floors, decking, furniture and more! Brand new showees too. Ocean is literally steps away from the house. Covered deck and open deck on Ocean front is great. A house i would love to own!

Beautiful Carolina Blue

This was our first time in this house, we normally stay in Sea La Vie but decided to change it up. We love both houses, of course, but I have to say the deck on Carolina Blue is absolutely amazing! The doggy gate on the deck was a wonderful idea.

Perfectly Wonderful Week

BEST beach week with my family! Weā€™ve been coming to Edisto Beach for a few years and this year we went with a slightly bigger house and it was perfectly wonderful! Stepping outside and being right at the ocean is beyond words wonderful! We spent mornings reading on the beach, afternoon riding waves, and evenings soaking in the sunset. The turtle friendly dark skies led to spectacular evenings star gazing and we even saw a shooting star. The house is perfect and we especially enjoyed the covered porch (which not all places have). Very dog friendly too, with a gate already in place at the stairs so your fur babies can be safe. The house had plenty of room for each family member to have their own space and plenty of room for family fun with board games and family dinners. The kitchen had more than what youā€™d expect in terms of items to make yourself at home. I would 100% recommend Carolina Blue and hope we are lucky enough to stay here next year. Considerations for improving the already wonderful stay would be to move the water hose to wash your feet after a day at the beach closer to the ocean front stairs (there is a shower which is good and sometimes you just needed to wash off your feet). The older I get, the more I realize how lucky we are to have a week completely unplugged with my family. Thank you for opening your home for others to enjoy. Best money I could spend.

Great Thanksgiving on Edisto

I absolutely love spending time on Edisto Island and have been going most every year since I was born. I have stayed in many houses over the years including Carolina Blue once before. It is the perfect beach house in the traditional Edisto style. It has everything you need including a very well equipped kitchen which was perfect to cook our thanksgiving dinner in. We definitely want to come back and stay here soon.

Classic Edisto Vacation

My family has rented Carolina Blue many times over the past 40 years. The home is a classic 4-bedroom, 2-bath open plan. There is plenty of room for gathering at the table, in the kitchen, in the family room, or on either the shaded or open outdoor porches. This home is lovely. It is understated and gracious. It has just what you need to have a comfortable and relaxed stay on Edisto: private outdoor shower, large and powerful washer & dryer, well-stocked kitchen, and just a short walk from the grocery store or and even shorter walk to the ocean. Check-in and check-out are a breeze. The hosts are great communicators and responsive. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for an easy, unpretentious stay on Edisto. This home is exceptional because of its simplicity and comfort.

Until next year....

Have been staying at Carolina Blue in the Fall for many years and it never disappoints. Notice several changes and upgrades each time as the new owners continue to make improvements. The perfect location and the perfect house. Found the house to be clean and kitchen well stocked for cooking in. I did miss the nice chaise loungers that were on the deck last Fall. Carolina Blue has so much to offer from the hot shower under the house to a combination of covered porch and open deck. Great that they allow dogs. Just a wonderful week.

Comfortable, beautiful, and convenient!

We had one of the best vacations ever at Carolina Blue. The sun deck is a wonderful addition! You have the luxury of lying by the sea without getting covered in sand. We appreciated the location of the washer and dryer (much easier than carrying laundry down under a house). The furniture was comfortable. And we loved the ambience of the electric fireplace. We definitely hope to return!

Great spot right on the beach

This property worked well for our family of 7, plus my small dog loved the beach as much as the rest of us. Refrigerator was a small issue (no icemaker and ice trays took too long, but we managed with some bagged ice in a cooler . Had plenty of kitchen items if you like to eat in like we do. The charcoal grill was fun, as we are spoiled using a gas grill. Chairs on the deck were a great place to read and relax. Decking was a little 'iffy' so watch out for splinters. Overall we enjoyed Carolina Blue and would love to return some day soon.

Wonderful location on the beach

Carolina Blue is a great beach house on a wonderful stretch of Edisto Beach. The open design of the home makes it perfect for a good sized group. We loved our time there.

1st time stay- will stay again!

This was the 1st time we had stayed at this property. We wanted a beach front so our parents could enjoy the ocean even if they could not walk down to the shore. The home was perfect for our needs. The view was gorgeous! We enjoyed the covered deck with the rocking chairs, and enjoyed the joining deck that wasn't covered. We loved the kitchen and the supplies we needed to cook. We are thankful we found this home, and we plan to be back!

A great quiet gem

If you want to go to the beach to kick back and relax, you may do so on the front deck of Carolina Blue. Clean, up-to-date beach living - if only for a week - is worth it. Maybe a drawback - limited shopping for groceries and drug store items - but then - you want to relax and be able to walk to a local restaurant and hang out! And - our dog loved it!

Another Fantastic Experience

This was the second year in a row that our family vacationed at Carolina Blue, and we had another fantastic experience. The property was extremely clean and provided an unmatched oceanfront view. We love the proximity to the grocery store, ABC store, and other shops. The red lights on the steps were perfect for navigating the stairs at night while being mindful of our turtle friends. The hose and shower downstairs was perfect for rinsing off our feet before going inside. We had tons of trashcans to manage our wastebin needs. The air conditioning unit never failed us and did a great job of keeping us cool despite the hot weather outside. We spent tons of time as a family in the open concept kitchen, dining, and living space, however the majority of our time was spent on the deck taking in the gorgeous view of the ocean and enjoying the ample seating provided. The only hard thing to navigate was the steepness of the bank leading down to the beach, but we are very aware that erosion of the dune is not within anyone's control. We did not let this stop us from enjoying tons of fun on the beach. Guests with mobility challenges should take the steep bank into consideration when considering the property. This is also a perfect rental for anyone with dogs that they want to vacation with. The gate on the deck allowed our dogs to have free roam of the deck and enjoy the views with us, which was very important to our enjoyment of vacation. All communication with the hose leading up to our stay, and after our stay was extremely clear and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!!

A wonderful week at Edisto

Carolina Blue fit the bill perfectly for our family, ages 9 months to 90 years old. Sleeping accommodations, covered porch, and sun deck all contributed to a great week of R & R. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every cooking/baking/serving item we needed for our meals (especially the local shrimp dishes). The gated deck was helpful for our dog, she could relax and watch the waves without being tempted to chase the dolphins! We were privileged to watch dolphins, breaching rays, and the most breathtaking sunrises from this lovely location. This was our sixth visit to Edisto, we will be returning to Carolina Blue as often as we can!

Perfect location and relaxation

We loved the wonderful porch and the location on the beach. It was a perfect location in the town to walk to everything! The fact that part of the porch is covered with a table that you can eat a meal at and the other person is open to layout is a perfect combination!
