Mermaid Cove Breathtaking Ocean Views 2 bdrm 2 bath

This lovely condo RIGHT on the shoreline, overlooking the beautiful Ma'alaea bay, is stunning. The 180 degree views, sweet ocean breezes, and lullaby of the ocean will take your breath away and instantly rejuvenate you! We offer A/C as well as ceiling fans, fully stocked kitchen, pool, W/D, a short walk to the restaurants, shops and boats of Ma'alaea harbor and long empty beach. The whales play just outside your lanai all winter and the sea turtles are visible all year long. This is a new listing so lots of dates are still available, but we are experiences hosts that are passionate about making sure your experience is excellent. We also have another one bedroom unit in the same building and a five bedroom house and cottage upcountry in Makawao if you need more space for your friends/family.

The hosts were wonderful. Lots of communication! The property is right on the bay. Bed was very comfy. Two bathrooms a real plus. Well stocked with necessities. Food fifteen minutes from shopping and restaurants. Walking distance to the harbor where the tour boats go out of. We had a great stay at this place!

We shared Mermaid Cove for a week long stay with another couple and loved it. Our first evening we sat on the lanai and watched dozens of whales spouting and breaching. The next afternoon we saw turtles frolicking right below us. The views are spectacular and the condo was beautifully decorated and well stocked for beach activities. Our host was easy to contact and always responded right away.We look forward to returning!

Whale and turtles!

Thoroughly enjoyed a week long stay at this well situated condo. The owner was very responsive and the view from the deck was awesome. Walking distance to the harbor for whale watching and snorkeling trips with Trilogy and turtles on the beach adjacent to the condo.

Wonderful stay and lots of turtles

This property has unmatched views and so many amenities. There were paper plates, coffee, a cooler, umbrella and life vest. Everything you could need for a family trip to the beach. We saw 12 sea turtles from the balcony at once. Eve was a wonderful host! My son really liked all the koi in the lobby area. You can’t go wrong with this rental!

Amazing view!

We selected this property primarily because of its amazing views and were not disappointed. It is more beautiful than the website photos. The property manager was very easy to work with. One thing that could be emphasized more is the condo 's great accessibility. The parking spot is next to the building's sidewalk. There are no stairs from the parking spot, to the elevator, and into the condo. One of the bedrooms also has a zero-entry shower. The only negative I would mention is the air conditioning. The unit has a window air conditioner in the living room only. I believe that is common in Maui, but was a surprise to us. The bedroom doors had to be left open to stay cool at night. We would definitely stay at this condo again!

Steve ran a dive business to Molokini Crater for the last 34 years!) and is an underwater cinematographer. Eve is an author and speaker, labyrinth facilitator and runs Heart Path Journeys which offers personalized, private retreats focused on wellness, relationships and spirituality. We are both wedding officiants if you want to get married while on Maui! Eve also runs The Sacred Garden upcountry which is free and open to the public as a peace garden, nursery and sanctuary.
We have a one bedroom condo at Island Sands also, if you need another unit. We also have a charming vacation rental "Upcountry" Maui if you want to split your time between ocean and jungle/garden setting. We have a five-bedroom log house and a studio cottage "Gingerbread House" that are both listed on VRBO as well in Makawao.
Our goal is to be sure you have a great stay on Maui....we respect your privacy but we aim to be available if you need anything!

THE VIEW HERE IS MESMERIZING! You just cannot be any more "ocean front" than this! Whales and Turtles, snorkeling and surf right outside your lanai. The condo is clean, well stocked, and lovely for a private getaway, or honeymoon.
Ma'alaea is conveniently located, 12 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes to shops and restaurants, and in between Lahaina and Kihei.
Everything you need is here for the ultimate relaxing, heavenly experience.

What makes this property unique

This condo is wheelchair accessible with rolling walls/doors for larger access to the 2nd bedroom and bathroom, a roll in shower and a roll up vanity. The bed is a power-adjustable bed and there is a powered mobility chair for swimming pool access.
If you are not needing handicap accessibility, you will still love the spaciousness that the rolling walls creates!
