The condo is beautiful and clean and bright! However, the highway noise inside the condo disrupted our entire vacation. It was very difficult to sleep (we used a travel sound machine, had the all the fans on high and had all the bathroom vents running in an effort to drown out the noise…it was still dreadful). It was also impossible to relax in the condo during the day. We were very busy the first few days of our stay (out of the condo from 8am to 9pm) and we were really looking forward to resting and reading in the condo the last couple of days of our vacation; however, the noise was so irritating that we were unable to do this. I have been vacationing in the Vail Valley for over 40 years and I have never stayed in a place with this much noise!!! I am so disappointed, especially given the very expensive cost of staying at The Lion!!! I complained about the noise during our stay but no one responded. I would definitely NOT stay here if noise bothers you...it is REALLY LOUD!
