Lots of space for gathering including a dining/living room with fireplace, a family room with cathedral ceiling, and lots of windows. Finished basement rec room for the kids including a ping pong table ! All new kitchen appliances, washer and dryer. The house is ideal for 3 couples or 2 families.

The perfect spot to vacation.

The exterior the home was beautiful. The decks were awesome to attend with a beautiful view off of them. The rooms were nice-sized. The amenities were perfect. I would definitely come back again

Beautiful mountain view

The house was beautiful, and the views were amazing. We could spend hours looking down to the valley and admiring the nature around.

Wonderful location - View is Outstanding!!!!

Second stay at this property!!! The house has tons of space. The patio makes the property. We love to sit outside in the evenings! Prim is very communicative and helpful. Another wonderful stay!

Wonderful host and view

The home has the most beautiful views. We enjoy the space with our kids and some friends. The host was so sweet and had special 4th of July holiday plates and banner. Prim was so sweet and communicated extremely well. We will definitely be staying again.

Outstanding View of Lake Winni!!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Beautiful view of the lake! The house had everything that we needed. Great proximity to good restaurants and grocery stores. Very handy to Weir Beach and Meredith as well. Derek & Prim were oustanding hosts and were very communicative and provided excellent suggestions for the area. We loved the area! We will be back.

A cozy NYE in NH

Derek and Prim's house is lovely! There's multiple living spaces, including a rec room attached to the garage, providing plenty of space for everyone to have areas to hang out. The house provides beautiful views overlooking Gilford and Laconia and is a short drive to Gunstock, as well as restaurants and hiking trails. We enjoyed a cozy New Year's Eve playing games by the fire.

View beyond and below

This was an exceptional home with so much to offer inside and out. The spotless and spacious rooms, enjoyable game room, and amazing views from the wide and high decks provided the entire family with our best rental experience yet. I travel for a living and have enjoyed many properties, but none so widely appreciated as this for all. Absolutely coming back. I hesitated to keep this one a secret.

View from porch is AWE-mazing!!

Great property, great location. Two couples with motorcycles attending Laconia Bike Rally. House is on the hill, but driveway is not steep, easy in and out. Property is on dead-end, so it is very quiet. We only used about half of the home. It can accommodate a larger group. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the veranda, and watching the sun set in the evening. We had a great time and made fantastic memories. Thank you Prim and Derek.

Fall Get Away

Enjoyed our stay in Gilford, easy access to the property and the owners are wonderful. Kitchen is stocked for cooking; full size dining table, views from every room; and separate rooms with plenty of space to get some alone time. Location is perfect to get to any attraction. We watched the leaves change color and the view of the sunset over the mountains is amazing! The wood burning fireplace provided plenty of heat and the relaxing touch.

Very nice experience

Nice, large, renovated house in a quiet neighborhood with great views. Derek was very nice and responsive. Everything was smooth and at least in line with our high expectations. Cannot go wrong here.

Great location!

Our stay In Gilford was terrific! We stayed in Feb so we could take advantage of the proximity to Gunstock. We could also tell this is a great summer location and we would love to come back in a different season! The warmth provided by Derek and his family made it feel like were staying at a friend's house instead of a rental property.

Great experience!

The home was a great place for us to hang out and celebrate Christmas. We spent a lot of time by the fireplace but also watched movies in the living room. It was great to have so many rooms so that we could hang out or get some alone time whenever we wanted. Derek and Prim made our vacation very easy, strong recommendation to anyone considering staying here.

My wife and I grew up in the area. We have 2 grown children, and 2 dogs. We love this year round home.

Why they chose this property

I am an active runner/cyclist/hiker/XC Skier. This house great launch point for all of these activities (Kayaking too). There are a bunch of local spots, and we only an hour from the white mountains, a couple of which you can see from the deck. If you are ambitious, you can walk/run/hike to and up Gunstock and Belknap mountain from the house. Or just drive and be there in 5 minutes. We are close to a few nice restaurants, which also offer takeout. This is nice because you want to be at the house for the sunset. Nice working fireplace to warm up after a day on the slopes.
