With an abundance of open space surrounding the property, ski in/out access & the free gondola steps away (in winter), this 2 bed/2 bth townhome makes for an excellent basecamp for families and couples alike. The high-end finishes, ample natural light and artistic touches will ensure your inside time is as rejuvenating as your outdoor adventures! Recently remodeled with an emphasis on bright and modern finishes, the Meadows Retreat is a perfect basecamp for couples or families. Managed by the local legends at Wild Oak Vacation Rentals, this premium Telluride basecamp is backed by mountains of local insights, ideas and recommendations!

With room to comfortably sleep 8 and a private parking garage for all your gear, guests will enjoy an ease of access to Telluirde's legendary winter and summer pursuits.  In-floor heat transforms the wide-plank white oak flooring into your feet's best friend and the glass fireplace ensures your mountain experience is complete! The primary bedroom has a king bed, massive walk-in closet and full bathroom with steam shower. The second bedroom has custom built Queen bunks that will crush your childhood memories of bunkbed sleeping. The dining room has seating for 6 and is adjacent to a private balcony with a hardline gas grill and outdoor seating. Enjoy morning coffees and stunning sunsets from this southwest facing perch! Your full kitchen is beyond stocked for your own culinary creations and laundry is a breeze with your own private stacked washer and dryer. When you finally decide to leave the coziness of your condo, you will find immediate access to the Telluride ski area (specifically Lifts 1 & 10) as well as ample backyard hiking trails that will lead you to downtown Telluride or the Mountain Village core.

Guests have numerous transportation options (besides their hiking boots) including the free gondola just outside the front door that can take you into the village core and onwards into downtown Telluride. There is also the free Galloping Goose shuttle as well as Mountain Village's free 'Dial-a-Ride' that will pick you up at your front door and quickly take you anywhere in the Mountain Village!



Wild Oak Telluride also offer a private shuttle service for our guests and information on this will be sent to you in your booking confirmation.

Wonderful Stay

We had such a great time staying at this property. There were so many little goodies (beer, wine, coffee, snacks) that made us feel at home. The location, right at the base of the Chondola, is ultra-convenient. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Best Property I’ve Stayed At

Location is excellent. It is probably 150 ft from the garage to the path to ski down to the lift.The amenities are top notch. Kitchen is well equipped and stocked. Showers are very nice, especially the steam shower.Check in and check out were extremely easy.

Perfect place in amazing location

The unit was well kept with clean, modern feel. Primary bath and shower was especially nice; great pressure, steaming features too. The location could not be any better. Steps from lift 1 and 10. Could easily get around Telluride without even needing a car. Luke communicated well. Would most definitely book with him again. Was overall a great stay.

The unit was very well stocked and we really appreciated that. From coffee grounds and filters to laundry and dishwasher detergent. Those little things that are needed but dont want to be bought in bulk to have to toss. The unit was clean, beautifully designed and beds were incredibly comfortable. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The host has created and amazing guide book that will be sent out to you a few weeks ahead of time that has every single detail you would need and then some. It has each room with included items and how to use them. It even had recommendations for food, hiking, how to get around. They were also responsive to messages for questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Magnificent Mountain Village

My wife and I spent part of our anniversary celebration here. The property is magnificent and we greatly enjoyed our time. We ran into a minor difficulty with the property amenities. Online, we were surprised to see that the unit provided air conditioning. Of course when we arrived that was not the case. Luke was very helpful and understanding and was going to get the website corrected. We were blessed that the nights cooled off dramatically from the days and we used the fans and it was quite comfortable. We had also thought that the gondola right outside the condo would take us in to Mountain Village. However, this is only available during the winter ski season (Which makes sense). The property itself was immaculate, and the location was still quite convenient to Mountain Village (~5 minute drive max). We would definitely recommend the property and would love to come back sometime!

Sanctuary at The Meadows Retreat

Just got back from our first stay at The Meadows Retreat in Mountain village! The condominium exceeded all expectations, as the listing did not fully capture the inviting vibes and attention to detail that define the property. Everything is top quality from appliances to linens. Lots of small touches, like wine and beer at the ready. The location can’t be beat - just a free gondola ride from the adorable town of Telluride. You get a heck of a lot for your money while staying at the Meadows Retreat and it is obvious that Luke genuinely wants his guests to have the perfect Telluride experience! We would definitely go back again, maybe with friends next time!
