We had a lovely stay. Pool was wonderful. Proximity to beach was great. Very comfortable home stocked with everything you need. Host was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely rent again.
We had a great stay! The unit is perfectly located near the beach and near downtown St. Augustine. The owner was communicative and helpful. The unit was clean and well-stocked. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
The pool was not 83 degrees like i saw somewhere online. May want to change that. It may have been 73 degrees. I know we went in the cooler months so we were going to expect cooler temps. We did enjoy the pool and beach. We had to warm up in the bathtub. Please check the handle and lock on the second floor bedroom on the pool side that goes out side. The handle needs tightening. We enjoyed the fire pit.We had a great time. Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback. We try to set good expectations about the pool temps. We've shared in both the listing and check-in instructions that when the overnight low temperatures drop below 65 degrees, the pool temp will be lower than 85 degrees. Additionally we don't charge an extra fee for the pool heat even though it costs quite a bit to keep it running. The pool is large enough the heater can't keep up with the cold temperatures when the nightly temps drop into the 50s like they were during the week you stayed.
Glad to hear in spite of the colder temps you enjoyed your stay.
House was perfect for the size of our group. Well appointed with necessities. Convenient quick walk to beach access, restaurants and groceries. Would highly recommend.
Very close walk to the beautiful beach and short ride to historic downtown! Having Publix in walking distance was a plus! There was a cute restaurant with live music close by as well! We unfortunately had some rainy weather but still enjoyed our time.
We had so much fun on our trip due to the ease of access to this rental. Our kiddos enjoyed the pool and the beach. The house was perfect for our group!
Great host communication! However the photos do not match what you will see in person unless some things are updated and cleaned up. Landscaping around the pool wasn’t kept up. A lot of dead plants. The fire pit area with swing, the horseshoe area and grill needs to be updated as well as patio wood furniture outside the master bedroom. (You cannot sit on it) Not as pictured. I understood this wasn’t a beach front house but know that you will only see a very small partial water view from a window and maybe one spot on porch, if you’re looking for water views as we were and put in our filters when searching for a home close to water. From the third floor loft area, you will need to go through someones bedroom to use the bathroom. There is one bathroom on the second floor for three rooms to use. A lot of holes and patches on the walls..It wasn’t a bad walk to the beach and it was close and convenient to the grocery store and a few restaurants. Also know that you are right on/beside a busy intersection and will hear heavy traffic often. This house maybe good for young people that don’t care about these things. This was our yearly ladies trip. (We’re in our 40’s early 50s) I like to read reviews to know exactly and what it actually is. We only needed John to get the pool cleaned for us and he was responsive and checked on us throughout our stay. Everything else was what is was and I hope they get it done before next travelers stay. Hope this review helps.

Always grateful for feedback about how we can do better. We take action on every reasonable critique.
A couple of responses: The uncharacteristic freezing temperatures earlier this year did cause some of our trees and plants to wither. They are coming back but need some time to heal. We're actively working on this.
We don't advertise the home as beach front. We don't charge beach front rates.
We purposely allow the outdoor wood of the fences, decks and some of the built in benches to become distressed wood. We think it adds to the aesthetic of the property. That's how it's pictured in the photos.
A new chair has been ordered to replace the old one on the back deck. As a side note, there are about 14 other chairs/loungers on the patio/deck areas.
Check in was easy. Great communication from the owner. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Beautiful pool with easy access to the beach. I would recommend this house.
we had the best stay - the listing was exactly as described yet somehow even better in person. proximity to the beach, the grocery store and dining options were all super close and convenient. communication with the owner couldn’t have been better - I think the longest I waited for a response from pre-booking to check out was 30-seconds. perfect location, perfect house for our family, perfect getaway. 10 out 10 would definitely recommend.
We had an awesome stay and it was conveniently located to the beach and Publix and restaurants. Everyone LOVED the big pool with lots of pool toys. Excellent accommodations! Our youngest was 15 and oldest was 85!
Great location on a great beach. Publix is across the street. Very short walk to the white sand beach. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoons. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.
