Check in was easy and efficient and the homeowner was very helpful with making sure we had everything we needed for my son’s wedding weekend. The kitchen was a great gathering place for our extended family to enjoy a nice home style meal.
The layout was great for all age groups, toys/games/books available. The rooftop patio was great for the adults, but not much outdoor space for kids on site. The location was decent - great proximity to groceries, a delicious BBQ joint & the zoo. Parking was tight for two trucks but we managed. Overall a great option for groups that prefer to stay under one roof!
Great place near downtown, but not so close as to be crowded or noisy
Love staying here, with friends and family. We were going on a cruise and this was the perfect place to stay. We were able to Uber down to the port, quite easily. It's a nice quiet area
This property exceeded our expectations in so many ways. What a beautiful, well kept and clean property with everything you could need. Just a short, easy walk to Fremont where there’s so much to do. We stayed here as a family for our son’s wedding at The Foundry in Fremont. I just wish we had known about this home for our previous visits to see our son. Would without hesitation book for future trips!
We had a group of 7 and this property was a great fit. We never had to compete for space. The beds were also perfect, no complaints! So many good restaurants and breweries close by.
We had a lovely time in the home. Everyone really enjoyed having their own rooms and the multiple bathrooms made the stay very comfortable.
The beautiful house and fantastic location for going out into the Ballard farmers market on Sunday was such a treat.
Great space and location, but home could use some work
This is a beautiful 4 BR, 3 1/2 bath house with two decks and a back porch. It's a perfect space for a family or group of friends, and is conveniently located to the Fremont neighborhood, which has fun restaurants and shops. Where the house could use some work is in the maintenance and cleaning. Toilet seats and toilet paper holders are broken. Walls are badly scuffed in places. The rugs need a serious cleaning. And the house isn't stocked with supplies as well as it should be. There was also food left in the fridge from the previous renter. We had a nice visit, but given how expensive this house was to rent, I would've expected a slightly higher quality of cleanliness and maintenance.
Lots of room for our group to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday! 4 Of us stayed at the house but 6 joined in for Saturday night's celebration dinner. Lots of room for people to mingle, eat and enjoy each other's company. Down time found us in the hot tub or playing games. The kitchen is well stocked and lots of room. Ample (and nice) bathrooms for this size of house. Beds were comfortable.
Parking is challenging (but then that's Seattle!) and the stairs (to the front door and to the bedrooms) should be taken into account (my mom just took her time getting there!) TOTALLY would stay here again - hopefully when the weather has turned and we can access the outside decks.
The home has a great lay out, was comfortable and a perfect size for my family. It had all the amenities we needed from the adults down to our infant needs of high chair, Pack N Play, to toys for the young kids which was great. It was also a great location. We all enjoyed being together, whether we were at the table or sitting on the sofa, yet we had our private bedroom space and bathroom. Amaris was also quick to response to any of my concerns. The only concern for someone older with mobility issues would be the fact that there is a lot of stairs. One flight to get into the house, a flight to the second floor and then the third floor. Overall, the home worked out great for us and was enjoyed by all of us.
We did not stay there ourselves but reserved this for extended family who were here for a graduation weekend. The place worked really well - our family seemed to really enjoy it. Very clean and in very good shape. Nice to have lots of bathrooms (only two bedrooms had to share a bath). Would definitely rent again. Do heed the comments that there are alot of stairs to navigate - if you have individuals in your party who struggle with stairs, this is not the place - there is a full flight of stairs just to get into the property, and another flight to get to the lowest level of bedrooms. We knew about that from the property description, and our older family members did ok, but in the future if stairs become more of problem for them, this place would not work. Otherwise - a great property!

Pro: Great, great, great location. Whether walking, driving, or using public transportation, this location is hard to beat. Plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance. The owner recommended Ballard/Frelard Pizza (1 block away) and we all second that! Breakfast at Roxy's dinner is a must. Take the tour at the chocolate factory! For groceries, Fred Meyer, PCC, and Trader Joes are very close by.
Washer and dryer were wonderful! Ditto the excellent dishwasher.
Kitchen was well furnished with pots/pans/utensils.
House was generally clean, but needs a thorough effort. No closet or hanging space in the office/bedroom.
Cons: Owner called the week before the rental offering to "save us money" by cancelling the reservation and renting directly from her.
We were looking forward to the hot tub, but the water level was below the jets when we arrived, and we were unable to use it.
When the third floor shower was used, water dripped into the dining room through an amateurish patch in the ceiling. A text to the owner got no response. We stopped using the shower to prevent mold growth and further damage to the house.
Hot water supply didn't seem up to snuff. Several times we had tepid/chilly showers.
Television use was complicated. The only way we found to adjust the volume was by walking over to the control box. WiFi had difficulty keeping up with streaming demands.
As residents of other states, we needed more instructions re: trash and recylcing.
Fireplace in 4th floor master bedroom didn't seem to work.

I’m sorry to hear you have so many complaints about the house. The upstairs fireplace certainly works. It’s quite simple and controlled by a switch near the bed. The tv and controls are all outlined in the house manual. There is a remote to the sound system for volume. I did miss one single text message around Christmas from the guest but I was surprised that no other attempts to communicate were made to give me a chance to help with any of these issues. The leak situation is being addressed right away. It happened one other time and we had a plumber out who could not seem to replicate the problem. However I hired another company after this stay to get into the walls and figure out what is causing it. It’s a very very slow drip. Anyways, all I can say is that we always do our best to work with Fuerst Mmmm guests on anything that comes up and this guest did not make much of an effort to communicate about any of these things during her stay save one short text which I did respond to and never heard back. Most all these issues could have and would have been quickly remedied.
The place was great in a cool neighborhood. We definitely would recommend staying here. Walking distance to many great restaurants, breweries and bars.
Had a great stay with friends who travel together every year. This house met all of our expectations and was very well appointed and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the baby pix as we have an expectant grandma with us! Positioned between Ballard and Freemont made things a little less walkable than we would have liked but proximity to downtown Seattle was nice. Overall, a great experience!
Our family with adult children enjoyed the spacious great room and rooftop patio. It was within walking distance to restaurants, grocery and liquor stores, and parks, and a short (15 min) Uber ride to downtown and other interesting locations.
