About this property

A Place at the Beach Oceanfront on the Garden City Peninsula

This is a well maintained, first floor, two bedroom, two bath ocean side view condo in a low-rise oceanfront building, with a spacious pool area and beautifully landscaped grounds. It is a half hour drive south of the Myrtle Beach Airport and south of Garden City pier. You can enjoy breathtaking sunrises over the Atlantic and sunsets over the inlet waterway. The condo has a horizon view of the ocean, and a view of the Murrells Inlet waterway from the balcony. One of the finest restaurants on the Grand Strand, Gulfstream Cafe is within walking distance. Indigo Creek Golf Clubs and other golf courses are within 12 miles of the condo. Wild Water and Wheels Park and several Putt Putt courses are also a short drive away. Enjoy the best seafood on the strand at the many restaurants (Bovine's, Drunken Jack's) of Murrells Inlet just minutes away. Broadway at the Beach, Market Commons, Hudson Flea Market are all nearby. This area of beach is very wide with multiple sand dunes. This area is only zoned for beach homes and low-rise condo complexes which gives it more of an island feel and makes for an un-crowded, quiet beach any time of year. The complex sits on an extra large lot with an oversized pool, courtyard, and grilling area that makes it very accommodating for families and pets. The view from our balcony does not face any other complex or parking areas to give you ultimate in privacy and unobstructed views. This is very uncommon on the Grand Strand. Condo is very well maintained . Living Room has a 40' flat screen TV and DVD player, master bedroom is equipped with a new 32' LCD TV. . The beach is the widest and most beautiful on the southern strand. We absolutely love staying in this condo, we have been using this rental for several years. The location is perfect for us, we are away from all the noise of the boardwalk yet only a few mile drive when we want to do touristy things. The only negative I have is the bedroom needs new deep pocket sheets.

My husband and I are Ohio natives. In 2020, our daughter’s Senior mission trip was canceled due to the Covid pandemic. We knew Greg and Sherrie had a condo in Murrells Inlet, though we had never been there. I rented the condo for a week with my daughter and her two friends as a graduation gift. I fell in love with the condo and the location.

Why they chose this property

Greg and Sherrie decided to sell this condo in 2021. I wanted my husband to see this beautiful place on the Garden City peninsula and to walk the wide quiet beach to the point where the ocean meets the Inlet. My husband loved the condo and the location as well and we decided to purchase their condo.

What makes this property unique

It is nice after a day of enjoying all the attractions the area has to offer to go back to a beautiful, quiet beach to enjoy the night ocean breeze. It is also a big plus to be within walking distance of the Gulfstream Cafe! We are just minutes away from the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, with great views of the Inlet, boat rentals, and the finest restaurants and live music in the area.
