It was welcoming to pets however we had a service animal and was still charged a pet fee Laundry service did supply all our needs , not a fan of having to count everything before putting it back

Such a nice beach house! Easy access to the beach, the house is BEAUTIFUL & spacious inside! The pool is great! & getting a golf cart with the fee for the week was such a great plus!! Will definitely look into staying here again!

Great week at the beach. Ann is great to work with and responded to my questions and inquiries quickly. Located close to everything from great food to shopping and the beach which is just a block away If you prefer to stay in and cook, the kitchen is well equipped. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We are looking forward to next year.

My family and I couldn’t have picked a better place. Very comfortable and plenty of room for everyone. The golf cart is definitely a wonderful added bonus. Highly recommend.

Amazing Stay – Felt Like Home!This vacation rental was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! My husband and I, along with our adult children, grandchildren, and pups, had the most wonderful week together. The house is even better than the photos—spacious, well laid out, and incredibly clean and comfortable.One of the best features was the king bedroom on the first floor, which made things so much easier for our senior dogs. I also really appreciated the labeled kitchen cabinets—such a thoughtful touch that made cooking and cleanup a breeze without having to hunt for anything. Genius idea!The pool was the perfect size for the grandkids, and they spent hours having fun in it. The location of the home couldn’t be better—just a short and easy walk to the beach, and the golf cart made it super convenient to haul gear (and little ones) back and forth. We also loved being so close to Garden City Pier, Sam’s Corner, and Surfside Pier.Ann was wonderful to work with—responsive, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. I would absolutely stay here again—no hesitation. 10/10 experience!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Great communication from the owners. The home is in a perfect location for a quiet, peaceful get away. The house has a spacious floor plan perfect for an extended family to vacate together. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a great get away for our family, and we plan to return next year.

Lovely Retreat

This was a great home for our family celebrating my daughters graduation! Owner was very responsive, super helpful and flexible with questions and small modification to our trip. Golf cart was wonderful to get around many areas of Surfside. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Wonderful

Home was clean and exactly as expected. Close to everything and walking distance to the beach. The owners were absolutely wonderful. Cannot wait to visit again! Only suggestion - if you have a toddler, bring an extra wide (more than 40in) baby gate to block stairs. Overall wonderful experience!

Amazing !!

Pictures do not do this house justice! It is absolutely gorgeous! Neighborhood was excellent. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but a short golf cart ride and you could be at the beach, out to dinner, or shopping! Highly recommend this property! Ann, the owner is very friendly and easy to work with !!

Family Christmas

The home was great for our family gathering. The furnishings are a little dated but nice and comfortable and the price has been adjusted accordingly (when comparing to other home rental pricing in the area for more updated furnishings.) But the home is very relaxing with lots of room for everyone to gather and hang out. The owner is very responsive. We had a minor had a minor issue with one of the toilets during our stay. We called the emergency number and it was fixed before we got back from breakfast.

Thanksgiving Beach Trip

Wonderful experience! House location was just what we needed- away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach, but close enough to enjoy the shopping of Myrtle Beach.

5 Hokies come to Surfside :)

I stayed with 4 other family members for a week. There were a few hiccups with the initial check-in process due to the previous renters not leaving the keys. But Ann answered our call and got the issues resolved right away! Ann was courteous and efficient even though she was not in town when we reached out. We will definitely be staying again and hope to make this an annual occurrence! Will HIGHLY recommend her rental to others!

Fabulous

We had a great 2 weeks. Plenty of room. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is really nice. Great location, close to the beach and an easy walk to restaurants. Golf cart is a blast and nice to have to haul beach stuff down to the beach! My only negative is that the sofa bed cannot be used to sleep anyone! It is unsleepable! Fortunately, we only needed it for one night, so they opted to sleep in a recliner. Would absolutely rent again.

Wonderful stay!

Our family fell in love with not just the house, but the area! Very quiet neighborhood, quick walk (or golf-cart drive). The house was clean and spacious. We loved relaxing by the pool! Truly a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to return next year!

The property was perfect for our family, it was big enough that we all could have our own space. The pool and golf cart are a big plus! Definitely would stay here again. Ann was easy to get in touch with and very informative being that we were there during Tropical storm Debby.

Convenient, pet-friendly home

Quiet location, walking distance to the beach and every bedroom had a bathroom, which was great. I forgot my bathing suit and Ann graciously mailed it back to me, communication with her was always quick. The golf cart was an added bonus and we enjoyed having it available. But Beware, you will get a $128.50 ticket from the Surfside police if you are driving it after dark. Overall, an enjoyable week, we would stay at Dogwood Dunes again.

Love the location. The House was spacious enough to provide an adequate amount of privacy for the entire family. We traveled with an infant, a small child, our family doggy, 3 teens and 2 couples and still had enough space and privacy. The golf cart was a life saver for us with having an infant. 10/10 would definitely do it again.
